First Impressions
As I retired EE, I’m impressed with the capabilities of this system at this price point. The energy use data is very accurate, within 1 to 2% ?… as I have other meters of known accuracy to compare same. To parse the data, any which way I wish, using the CSV download, is great. As there is no way to know how a user wishes to analyze the raw data, so this is a good approach because there is no way Emporia can imagine what is of interest to each individual.

Add currently options for Uk
I’m using this in the UK. Most of this app works but it’s very annoying that I can’t set my currency to £ (or other European currencies for that matter)
So far so good
Pretty straightforward and informative app.
The only issue I have with it is that on/off button for is barely distinguishable between blue/gray for colorblind person.
I wish it was more vivid Green/Red combo.

Good enough for now
So the app as a whole works. It displays a fair amount of information; however, it could be much better. I like that you can specify a 2nd factor power option (a prompt to verify power on/off toggle).
I took off a star because you have to enter individual information for every device (pKwh cost, time zone, etc) and this was truly annoying. Also annoying was there wasn’t a way to easily view total usage of all monitored plugs or devices. I had to export to CSV
Desired improvements:
Total energy usage as a graph
An easier way to change between device views
A “memory” of what view I prefer (always defaults to per second usage)
Set up multiple/all devices with same setting (energy cost, time zone, etc)
I hope when I get the Vue it isn’t the same way as the individual plugs. That would be a bummer.

Just what I needed.
This app is great, except for one thing, I wish it was possible to start a timer instead of having to manually pick when to turn off and on the smart plug. But other then that it’s great!
Do not install v2.5
Just installed the new update to 2.5 and everything is now broken. I cannot see any real-time data and my Home Screen is just a demo with ads for emporia devices. Which I already own. If you’re happy with how your app works then do not update to the latest broken version. Sorry for all you new comers that will be severely disappointed when you try to use the app.

Tracks each circuit!
Great to track solar production and consumption in real time. The Vue 2 has been working flawless… highly recommended.
Buggy and weird
This app has a lot of room for improvement. Presents spurious numbers, there percentages that don’t make any sense, the chat is good but if you go back to the app then you lose the chat, there’s an option to save chat, except at the when you might want to save it, etcetera.
Graphing needs to be improved
Overall it is very good but some improvements would make it great.
An option to specify the range in graphing would be great. Once installed, the power range is known. So manual adjustment of the ranges of vertical and horizontal axes would make the graph much better

Very Reliable
Been using the system for several months now. I appreciate how i can set multiple Alarms for total load, aswell as any of the 16 individual circuits that i monitor. This allows me to monitor High/Max load, or for example i have an alarm set on my sump pump circuit so that i will receive an alert when my sump pump activates for the first time in the spring.
I very much agree with the las review from “Farcouet” about being able to monitor the load from the CTs individually on the mains. And, for mostly the same reason. I used the system for keeping an eye on our emergency panel. This system is fed from a small off grid style inverter which load balancing is critical.
