  • This app is a scam

    I cannot stress this enough, please do not get this app. I downloaded this app because I forgot my purse coming home one day and haven’t taken toll since because I’ve been working nonstop. Im getting random charges daily for areas I have not been to. When I contacted customer service they do not care, they’re just telling me the charges are valid. Im going in today to get a whole new bank card because everytime i unlock my card to use it they have a charge on deck waiting to charge me for places not even in my state. Please please please do not get this app.

  • Every toll pass adds 85c.

    The GoToll app works fine except every toll pass is added 85 cents service fee. So if I drive through Garden state parkway and pass three tollbooth in one hour, I will pay $2.55 service fee to GoToll, in addition to tolls charged by Parkway authority. Toll by Mail service would send just one combined bill and ask pay by check in mail back envelope with a 60 cents stamp.

GoToll was created to help infrequent toll road users, who don't already have an existing toll pass, to utilize toll roads with ease and avoid the high fees associated with toll violations.   • Make sure to delete your account

    I deleted my app as I no longer wanted to use the app. Only to be charged for future toll trips. I was told you have to “delete the account” through account settings first. How can an app charge you after you have deleted it? What a scam of an app

  • Last minute save

    Driving out of DC realized we were going to hit till roads, had the app downloaded but quickly added license plate and credit card info…worked instantly!

  • Impressed!!!

    I signed up a while ago and I didn’t realized I switched to a toll lane in Silicon Valley a bit ago. After driving for a while I remembered I had signed up to this service. I’m so happy I did. I just received the payment notification and paid the toll fee. Fantastic. So glad to see that this works so easy and smooth.

  • Unauthorized Charges

    I deleted all my account information. My tags as well as my payment information a while ago. Out of NOWHERE I got a charge on my account for a day I did not even leave my home because I was quarantined. I have yet to see a photo of proof. Customer Service responded promptly but that does not suffice for being inconvenienced. WARNING: DO NOT DOWNLOAD
  • Watch out for the $0.85 fee per trip! Ridiculous!

    This app charges you $.85 per trip! This is crazy markup for certain express lane that only cost $1. A 85% markup on that is not cool. I don’t usually nickel and dime but this is a bit outrageous.
  • Not worth it

    Most of the time your trips won’t be paid. So you’ll receive a bill ( pay by plate ). After you have paid it you’ll get an email from go toll to pay them as well. Worthless !!!
  • Avoid at all costs - terrible customer service and basically a scam

    I have had a horrible experience with this company and could never recommend using it. I used it once with a rental car and paid the tolls as required. I didnt realize that it would keep charging me for every time that rental car was used for tolls, even after we had returned the car to Enterprise. I started getting these random charges so I reached out to the company. They criticized me for not properly identifying it as a rental on the app even though that wasnt a clear option when I did signed up. I spoke to at least five or six different customer service people and explained the situation and asked for assistance and for the charges to stop. None would help me and they just pressured me to pay the tolls for these other random people using this rental car. They did not seem to care at all that I was not using this car and did not work to address the issue for me. I filed a complaint with my credit car because I was losing around $10-$20 a month on these random tolls for a car I was not driving. I tried properly removing the car from my account but still got charged. So I completely canceled my GoToll account and still got charged. The only resolution was to cancel the credit card. However more than a year later they are still emailing me asking me to pay tolls on this rental car. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and avoid this company.

When using rental vehicles, it is imperative that you remove the license plate information immediately upon returning the vehicle to avoid future charges. GoToll offers a rental vehicle feature that allows users to set the date and time that they would like the vehicle to be automatically removed from their account.
