  • Works great

    I haven’t had problems with they app personally. I think if you are someone with nonUrgent issues it’s a great way to contact without waiting on the phone
  • Easy to use

    Easy app to use for healthcare access, glad it’s available so widely now as it was not available to me before. Thank you.
  • Useless

    This app is useless and I work with computers. I spent at least 2hrs trying to login and I would get rejected each time the app makes no sense you have to have a different ID and password to log into each site you need to go too, this is apple supposed to be user friendly, NOT!

  • Error

    I got an email from the VA advising health chat was available. I downloaded it and when I signed in it took me to Minneapolis area which I’m not affiliated with. I deleted my account and tried to reinstall the app and now all I get is an error message when I try to login. Wish the app would work as advertised.

  • Location

    I installed the app and opened it to find that it has me located in a VISN in which I do not live. Apparently, there is no way to correct that. In attempting to email support, I was rejected as my email address is not on a list of permitted users.
  • Pointless

    I was trying the app for the first time to schedule an appointment with my PCP. The person at the other end said he’s only allowed to make appointments for EYE care and some other lesser known department. Plus I don’t trust this system, they require you to give “full SSN” instead of last 4.
    1. If the person at the other end is VA personnel they wouldn’t be limited to making appointments to two specialty clinics.
    2. VA will not ask you for your full SSN in any venue other than “in person.
    3. Wokeism wokeism!! I was addressed with neutral terms. “Hello Veteran Smith”. To which I replied, drop the wokeism nonsense and address me as Mr or Sir!!

    I am forced to conclude that this app and services are not directly connected to the VA but subcontractors. As a result I do not have faith in the security of this venue, I AM DELETING IT!

  • Unable to begin a new chat

    Initially, it was a pain to log in, but afterwards I was successfully able to chat with a pharmacist to refill my prescription. Unfortunately, every time I open the app, I’m unable to begin a new chat. It only displays the chat with the specific pharmacist I had spoken to in the past. Why isn’t there a home page or option to request a chat with a different person/department? I don’t understand this app. I tried logging in several times and nothing changes.

    This app is trash just like every single app that is turned out through the VA or Government as a whole. You can really tell where all of the money is spent…it sure isn’t on veterans.
