Mobile ordering doesn’t work (yet)
When you place a mobile order you have to select the “I’m here” button in the app when you’re near the restaurant, but it always says you’re not close enough to the restaurant, even if you’re inside the restaurant itself. Basic troubleshooting like restarting the app, restarting the phone, enabling all permissions including setting to “Always” for location, and even reinstalling the app did not help. Fortunately Freddy’s customer service at their restaurants is great and they took my order the normal way, but the app itself needs to have this issue fixed before it is released.

App needs an overhaul
I love the food at Freddys, my kids and I enjoys burgers and custards 3-4 times a month. I have been using, or should I say trying to use the app since I got it for the past 4 months or so. The app always struggles to open regardless of networking connection strength, no ordering options from the app, and a recipient entry option that has never worked for me and is a joke. It is almost mid-2020 and this food app falls as one of the worst out there. If Freddys wants this app to be as successful as their food they should take note of what Chick-Fil-A has done (they have the best food app around) and build something similar.

Very disappointed
I ordered the same thing i frequently order. Fries & mini concrete, no hot fudge, double caramel. First off I was charged extra for the caramel, yes only $.90 but it does add up & nothing was reduce for the hot fudge i didn’t get. Then fries were cold & chewy, like they had been sitting there for a while. I absolutely love Freddy’s & don’t hesitate to tell others about it. I couldn’t believe this was what I was given.

You Call These Rewards?
I’ve been waiting for a Freddy’s app as all my other frequented quick seed restaurants have them. Even told Freddy’s a few weeks ago on Twitter to get on it, and they replied that they’re working on it. Well, here it is. A fairly feature-lacking experience. I was hoping for some offers, perhaps a weekly digital coupon like buy 1 get 1, maybe the occasional free small custard with a meal. Nope. You have to spend $200 to get a free meal. By comparison, you can save that $7 in a couple of uses of McDonald’s app. Freddys, if you’re going to offer an app, make it worth our while.
