  • Terrible and dangerous

    This app should be removed from the App Store. It only works half the time, and it doesn’t reset itself after repairs. It shows my RX 450h has 6 malfunctioning safety features and faulty breaks after repairs a week ago. No light on the dash. Car checks out with dealer, who said the app is trash.

    Also, the roadside assistance IS A NONWORKING NUMBER (at least it is on Verizon). That is ridiculous and dangerous. I even called them and they couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t reset. They can’t reset it. They didn’t know they had a nonworking number for roadside assistance. It’s awful.

  • App needs help!

    This an update to my prior review, below. You would think the Lexus app couldn’t get worse, but it has! Unfortunately, the app does not connect to the vehicle as soon as you open the app. If you open the app, and then try to play audio, such as from LiveXLive, you get a message that the Lexus app is not connected. This leaves you searching around within the app trying to find out how you could get it to connect. Ultimately, you’ll find a button labeled “App Suite-Connect your accounts”, but pressing this button does nothing (in any event, all my accounts were connected previously ). After my initial review received an email with a number to Lexus to discuss the problem. When I called the number menu item 1 was for “road service, Lexus app, and enform”. When you select menu item 1, it automatically connect you with a road service provider. Not good news. So, I think the bottom line is, forget the Lexus app. It’s hopeless. Luckily, you can still connect your phone through Bluetooth without using the App Suite.

    I purchased a certified 2018 GX. I was pleased to find that I could listen to LiveXLive through the Enform app. Then, the Lexus app replaced the Enform app and the trouble started. When listening to music the connection cuts out repeatedly. Sometimes when it does connect, you get no sound. It seems like it freezes up repeatedly. It really makes the experience somewhat frustrating and using the Enform suite pretty useless.

  • Disappointed

    It’s extremely convenient to be able to start your car and cool/heat it, but I’m disappointed in the app and I feel like it’s interfering with the actual function on my vehicle. When I use auto start, I’m having a hard time getting the vehicle to stop and unlock the doors or start up. My car is literally 2wks old and it only had 6 miles on it when I picked it up, so no it’s not the key battery. I truly believe it’s the app.

  • Bad for multiple cars

    On the previous version, I was able to choose which of our 2 cars I’d like to see on the app on my phone, while my husband chooses the other one. I like to have “My default” car on my phone all the time and not change to the other car that my husband uses if he makes his “Default” on his app. With this version is so inconvenient. The main screen keeps changing and does not stay one car that I prefer seeing all the time, while my husband sees the other car all the time.
    Another issue. Why the parking portion is too big and cannot even minimize to see the map bigger?
    I am trying to find something good about this update and nothing. Please reconsider you changes.

  • Recent Update Broke Alexa Integration

    While I’ve only had my new 2022 ES for three weeks, integration with Alexa was working flawlessly. After applying the most recent Lexus app update, it no longer works. I spoke to support and they acknowledged they broke it. They also said there is no ETA for a fix. As a new Lexus owner, its disheartening to experience a failure like this right out of the gate. I would certainly hope Lexus would test updates more rigorously than they obviously did. This took the shine off of the new car experience and makes me wonder what I can expect going forward. Not good, Lexus.

  • Not the best by Lexus

    Little by little services are degrading on my now 6 year old GX and the connected services. This app, the replacement for the Enform app, has been so cumbersome, unreliable, and simply lacking what most vehicle services are offering today (CarPlay??) While I love the comfort and reliability of my car, I’d have a difficult time committing to this experience again. As of mid week this week the connected services have stopped working completely after an “update”.

  • Constant problems

    Ever since Lexus decided to ditch the “enform suite” app and attempt to migrate everything to this new Lexus app I’ve had nothing but problems I need to waste valuable time on the phone with support with every single update as it causes inability to access the app suite. I expect more out of a Luxury car brand and am really starting to regret my purchase. Nobody wants to have to delete all personal data, redo all settings, presets etc every month or so because you can’t get this figured out. Do better Lexus, between this and the fact you are leaving owners hanging out to dry with the 3g issue in cars only 2 years old does not reflect well on your brand.

  • Change is not always better

    This new version is very cumbersome and not user friendly. The screens make no sense at all. The locate your vehicle feature is basically useless. I’ve owned Lexus for 17 years and am still surprised at how far behind the curve they are in connected technology. Great cars and they’ll run forever but this app is not indicative of their quality.
    *Also, why is it that on the vehicle locate screen, half the screen is taken up by an ad for a parking service (Parkopedia). I can’t get it to go away. Literally 1/2 the screen. It’s very annoying.

  • Update

    I since updated to the most resent version of the app and before the update everything worked flawlessly. However after the update I’m no longer able to connect to the Apps Suite on my car.

    I go to launch the Lexus app and I tap on the “app suite connect” button and before it would pop up another window saying connector or disconnect and show the linked accounts but now that but no longer works.

    It just gives you the spinning wheel and then goes away. I would really love the Lexus tech team to fix this issue so I can continue to use my Lexus app suite in my car. Because right now I’m unable to connect to the built in apps in my car due to a faulty app on my phone.

    On a side note I’ve restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth off and on again, logged out of the app and logged back in and even went through the trouble of uninstalling the app on my phone and reinstalling and still the same issue.

  • From bad to worse

    I will preface by saying Lexus/Toyota make amazing vehicles however, this app is absolutely worthless. Since the update the app suite just closes the entire app rendering it useless. I can NOT use any of the features because the app immediately shuts down. I’m connected to Bluetooth & the enform in my car tells me unable to connect without Bluetooth enabled!! Hello. I am connected to the car. The previous version made it glitchy and slow to switch between apps. Never have I had a vehicle with so many problems using the infotainment system as I do with this app. Not worth the monthly subscription!!! For the price paid for my Lexus vehicles I have to say my Ford & FordPass app are far more superior.
