Hassle

I wish I wasn’t in need of a few dollars so I can eat and pay small bills to stop my bank account from going into the negative. This app is a hassle on so many levels as soon as I received enough points to get a higher cash advance it lowered my available cash advance from $75 to $5. I had to subscribe to other offers to receive my points. Now Klover wants me to subscribe again to my Klover account when I’m already a member. I guess they want to charge me twice and take my points back? Plus I’ve been speaking to customer service about this same issue going on a second week. You can only reach them through email, no live chat or phone calls. They say response time could take up to 5 days but that’s not true it can take longer than that. Even if you respond to them within seconds within the email it will take days for them to respond back ****Updated Thank you for the response but your chat message option is flawed and constantly kicks me out of the queue which makes the email the only option. The check payday pattern needs to be fixed also. Your payday should be able to be seen through Plaid which Klover uses to see your bank account details and history. So my advance repayment date should match my check date.

Response from developer

Hi, we' apologize. When your advance option lowers, please relink your account via Plaid to clear up this issue. We are normally knocked off your bank's servers after repayment occurs or after a little while for security purposes. We're sorry for the issues with the pay dates. Our application is programmed to recognize pay periods that are 7-14 days apart only. Anything outside of this schedule does not register so the app falls back on producing a pay date 7 or 14 days out based on what it recognizes as your last two paycheck deposits. To remedy this issue, we also offer one extension per month and can manually edit the date as long as we're given a heads up two days before the due date.

Was told to write a review for chance to win $

I personally have only had the app for 3 days but have made about $40 so far. Depending on each individual’s circumstances, this app can actually be a really helpful , useful, convenient and fun way to make some money. It is far from perfect but it is way better than a majority of other platforms that offer the same ways to make money for multiple reasons. A few I can list quickly , one being reliability and that’s a really important one for me because after completing a task the last thing I want to happen is the system to not process your time/work put in. Another reason is the amount earned per task, as it feels way more worth the time to do a survey, play a game, etc. instead of only getting pennies at a time.

Im trying to think of something I would like them to improve upon and I can’t quite think of anything at this time. Again, I haven’t used the app for too long yet to go through the whole thing as a normal user so I will be sure to update this review and hope this is helpful to whomever may read :)

Great!

Klover is a financial app that stands out for its innovative approach to providing cash advances without credit checks or hidden fees. By offering early access to your earned wages, Klover helps users bridge the gap between paychecks, making it an excellent choice for those needing short-term financial flexibility. The app is incredibly user-friendly, with a sleek interface that makes navigation easy. Setting up an account and connecting your bank is straightforward, and funds are often available in minutes. Klover’s unique business model, which relies on user data for revenue rather than charging interest, means you can access your money without worrying about accumulating debt. Another major highlight is the budgeting tools and financial insights included within the app. These features empower users to make better financial decisions, adding value beyond just cash advances. The transparency and absence of hidden costs make Klover a trustworthy option in a market often plagued by predatory lending practices. If you’re looking for a no-hassle way to access your paycheck early, Klover is a reliable and efficient solution. Highly recommended for anyone seeking financial flexibility without the pitfalls of traditional payday loans.

Such a great advance app!

I've been using the Klover app for several months now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best and most immediate advance apps available. The user interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy for anyone to navigate through the various features without any hassle. From the moment I downloaded the app, I was impressed by how quickly I could set up my account and start using it.

One of the standout features of Klover is the speed at which you can receive an advance. Unlike other apps that require lengthy approval processes and extensive paperwork, Klover streamlines everything. The process is simple: link your bank account, provide the necessary information, and within minutes, you can receive an advance on your paycheck. This immediacy is a lifesaver, especially in emergency situations where you need funds quickly.

Moreover, Klover doesn't charge interest on the advances, which is a huge plus. Instead, they rely on optional tips and data-sharing agreements to keep the service running. This model is not only innovative but also fair, ensuring that users aren't burdened with high fees or interest rates. Additionally, the app provides useful financial insights and budgeting tools that help you manage your finances better. Overall, Klover is a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly app that stands out in the crowded field of advance apps.

THANK YOU CLOVER!

I’d say Klover is a straightforward, useful app if you need quick cash before payday without diving into high-interest loans or credit cards. I appreciate that it doesn’t rely on credit checks, which is a relief since not everyone has a stellar credit score. You just link your bank account, meet the eligibility requirements, and get a small advance, usually within a few hours.

The cash advance feature is genuinely helpful for unexpected expenses, and the process is smooth and mostly hassle-free. I do like that there are no fees or interest for the cash advance itself. Instead, Klover gives you options to boost your cash advance by watching ads or answering surveys, which isn’t for everyone, but it’s a nice option if you’re okay with it.

One thing to be aware of: since the cash advances are tied to your paycheck, Klover will automatically take the repayment out of your account on payday, which is something to keep in mind to avoid overdrafts. Overall, it’s a good app if you’re responsible with budgeting and need a quick financial cushion.

Only works if you have the time

This app essentially would be great if it didn’t require you to download tons of unnecessary money apps in order to qualify for points. They have great incentives for scanning receipts and surveys, but you will literally scan receipts forever to get 100 points as they are 5points per receipt. Initially this wasn’t too bad it use to require 3000 points for a $200 advance but now since their recent update, it takes 5,000 points just to get a $75 advance, which is INSANE. I mean it was hard enough trying to gather 3000 now they’re expecting you to accumulate 5k points for practically nothing…. Considering how long it will take to even gather such points. Most of the partner apps require you download games and make it to outrageous levels to get the points, or play cash games to get the points (why would I play cash games if I am looking for a cash advance)? While the idea of the app is great, you literally have to go through too much just to gather enough points for a small $75 advance and let’s face it, a single mother working full time doesn’t have time to sit and play games all day to make it to level 100 for some points. In my opinion, the offers you need to accumulate points make it harder to even get the points needed for the advance making it not worth it.

Response from developer

We apologize. In order to qualify for normal advances without points the system looks for healthy balances that are sustained for 20 days. Paycheck frequencies must be 7 or 14 days apart and at least $250 (https://joinklover.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034739471-Eligibility-requirements)

Don't be confused

This app is interesting for sure. The first time I signed in and let me borrow $100. I had to pay it back right away. You only get to use it for seven days even though it has direct access to my bank account and knows when I get paid it still wanted money back seven days later, which was on a in between week for me not a week I get paid Anyway anyways I paid it back anyways and then I need to borrow money again Way it would let me get more money was to sign up for a bunch of stuff everything that you sign up for cost you something whether it's a dollar $10 a month for a free Trayl invest five dollars now you have to spend money to get enough points to borrow money or you can play a game that it tells you to play and it says that in order to get enough points you have to get to a certain level of the game but whatever game you are playing you can only get to a certain part in that game without having to spend money so if I get to level eight This app will let me borrow money, but you can't get past level five unless you spend money in the game to buy more coins, so it is very tricky. You have to spend money in order to borrow the money.

Quick $5, Looks like Good Opportunity

Quick & Easy setup… Easy $5 advance to start, debit card and bank account confirmation was simple and could be completed without much effort. Additionally, it looks to have a great deal of opportunities to earn points. One thing that I specifically really liked, was the option to use points for the Instant Deposit method rather than paying the fee with actual money. This was a nice addition to allow a lowered fee associated with receiving the advance instantly. I have not seen this option offered on similar app services which I felt like was an innovative and modern choice rather than just having to pay the fee, period.
Would recommend. Would’ve given 5/5 Star Rating IF I didn’t have the confusion regarding the Cash Advance option. I’m not really sure how to get more than the $5 advance option and that would be beneficial to know whether I choose to use a larger advance amount or not, Knowing what I would need to do to have the option to if I was in a bind, would have made this app perfect but since it didn’t, I had to take one star off.

Can’t believe what this app did for me

I have always had a pretty good handle on money but then, things happened. Life got in the way and I moved to another state where payday loans didn’t really exist. I had very little options on how I could borrow money because of my credit at that point. I was so nervous to get Klover because I was worried they would just steal my info and run but the reviews gave me hope, so I hope I can give someone else the same hope. It’s legit, it’s not a scam, Klover is designed to actually help you. It has saved me so many times and I can’t say thank you enough to whoever created this app. Whether it’s groceries, paying my phone bill, or just being able to get lunch. You will not be disappointed. I tip most times but sometimes I can’t, and I still receive the same treatment. If you don’t like the charge for the money going straight to your account, try planning out when you’ll need it to get that free deposit. I should have wrote this review a long time ago, but better late than never. If you’re on the fence, just give it a shot.

Not a smart app

The app is a good concept but others do it better. Klover takes entirely too long to link your debit card and customer service is unresponsive. Basically if you need money really bad (pretty much the entire reason for getting an advance) this is not the app for you. It will take a week or more for an advance to be available. They use a ridiculous point system where you can accrue points by doing surveys and watching ads. Do not do this or you will be pestered by 30 of their marketing partners per day. You’re initial advance will be next to nothing (but you can use points to get more!) and oh my god the fees for express transfer to your account is like $12!!! Either you pay that or you wait 3-5 business days. Yay more waiting. But wait, there’s more! I got my first advance today (finally) and my repayment date is TOMORROW!! Like, are you kidding me? This app, nay, the entire company, is designed to prey on the financially vulnerable and the poor. If you’re a young person with little financial education, I strictly warn you to stay away from this app or you will ruin your credit. Trust me, try Brigit, you’ll thank me later. I will be repaying my advance tomorrow and then immediately canceling my account. This was a mistake. Also, I don’t like that they “approve” you for however much they feel like at the time. The amount fluctuates and makes zero sense.

We sincerely apologize for your experience. You do not normally need to participate in our partner offers or collect points to request our advances if your account meets our eligibility: (https://joinklover.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034739471-Eligibility-requirements). Our points system is available to users who do not meet these requirements yet and is supposed to be temporary until the system can see eligibility. Klover also does not report to credit unions. If you participate in our third party offers, please be sure to read their terms and conditions. Your repayment dates are based off the dates of your last payroll deposits. Our system requires this frequency to be 7-14 days apart. We offer solutions if your pay date is wrong due to early pay or a holiday throwing off the schedule. Please contact us at support@joinklover.com for further assistance.
