Great content, but app is horrible
I’ll sign up to be an Insider as soon as the apps are fixed! Like others have said, on Apple TV, you can’t leave an episode - the standard “back” button on Apple TV does not work as expected. And then on iPad/iPhone, the app will just get stuck while in an episode, so you need to force close the entire app. Please fix!

Great Content -- Horrible App Design
The shows are fine.
The problem is that there seems to be no way to get out of an episode and return to the top menu, perhaps to select a different episode. We wind up having to restart our AppleTV every time we want to switch episodes. Why is there no "back" button. Trust me, we've hit every combination of buttons on the AppleTV remote control at least 500 times, trying to figure out how to get it to work.

Does not work on Apple TV
This app absolutely does not work on Apple TV. Once an episode is started, there is no way to get out of it without exiting the application. Impossible to find previous seasons of New Yankee Workshop as well. I will be cancelling my Insider subscription and deleting this app.
One of the worst apps for AppleTV
This app is super buggy. Considering that one has to pay to be able to see most of the content, this app is a huge disappointment. The app gets stuck while playing any episode, the Menu button no longer works and you cannot return to the top selection screen. It also loses memory of what you were watching. In short, for being a for-pay app this is terrible. I’m considering asking for a refund and cancelling my subscription.

Terrible
Why am I paying for your service when you can’t even get an iphone app to work right? Every time I maximize the video it freezes. Ridiculous. Your roku app is also MUCH less sophisticated than other streaming apps. Figure it out.
Poor Interface
I like access to the old shows, but I can never favorite any episode because it never saves. The windows never resize so you close a window, sorry interface done with no consideration for the customers like myself who paid to see episodes, you will cost your company a lot of money with lack of design ui.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS WORTHLESS APP ZERO STARS
Before you download this app read the reviews. It’s hard to believe that this app has a 3.3 rating. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING works. It’s apiece a garbage. Luckily, for me, I opted in for the seven day free trial so I didn’t lose anything. I’ve downloaded hundreds apps from the Apple App Store and have never come across an app as bad as this. This Old House should be embarrassed to have their name associated with such a product. Seems like a money grab for for all those who benefit financially from this app. Extremely disappointed.

Love the show, hate the app
The developer still hasn’t fixed the landscape issue. My iPad Pro works great on it’s keyboard stand in landscape mode. This app only wants to work in portrait mode. I can start in landscape, but only for one video. From then on it only will work in prostrate mode. Useless app.
Good content, bad app
I’m not sure why the iOS version of this app doesn’t include Chromecast, but it really makes it difficult for me to watch episodes on my TV. Very disappointing since I love the content.
