Deleted just as fast as I got it
I learned of the app watching This Old House on free TV. I’ve trusted This Old House for many years. When they said it was absolutely free I thought this is great I can binge watch on some episodes were I missed a few shows. I downloaded the app. When I went to try it you have to sign up for their insider to see anything. I’m all out of signing up. Also, they give you the option about following your usage to other websites. It gives two options “Ask not to follow activity” and “allow to follow”. Not “No do not follow” but ask them not to. Unacceptable. It’s none of their business where I go and what I do. Signing up for their app shows things that I’m interested in so they should need to go to other places. I love This Old House but they lost a lot of my respect how’s the way their app is run.

Good App, But Could Be Better
I love that all 40+ seasons are available to watch BUT I wish it kept track of what was watched. The app doesn’t tell you what was watched so it can be a guessing game to determine which episodes were watched or are in progress. Also, along these lines, it would be nice to have a “Keep Watching” section for seamless transition from iPhone to Apple TV, for example.

Another time waisted app!.
Does not work very well, just like the other reviews say. Cancelled on time but they took a payment anyways!. Beware!.
Great app
Great app! Just to let you know the “What Is It” clip “Green Waterproof Bag with Air Vent” doesn’t play on my phone. The auto play is also a little buggy, it seems it picks random videos and if you watched a video once and it comes up it won’t play it again. You have to manually “catch” it and move the timeline back. But overall I love the app. Thank you!

Fix this old app ?
So so happy to have access to more that 40 years worth of TOH. I’m watching episode 1 with Bob Vila ... and a very young and shy Norm Abram. This is like therapy listening to these old programs.
frustrating Issu with the app ... once you finish watching an episode on iPad, you need to force quit the app in order to get back to the main menu. Surely an issue with in programming. Maybe Norm or Tom could fix this ?

Great show, terrible app
I have watched This Old House since I was a kid. Love the show, but their app is buggy and has no ability to cast to a tv. The app is either shutting down on its own, or changing between landscape and portrait orientation. When it does not shut down on its own, it stays in auto play mode. If you want to pick your video, there is no way to exit the video without shutting down the app. I tried fixing the problem by going to settings and durning off auto play, only there is no way to turn it off. The header is there for the option, but it is grayed out. This basically makes paying for insider useless, because who wants to TOH on their computer all the time?

App no longer working
I downloaded this app right when I knew it was available on just about every device I own. After weeks of pleasant viewing, for some reason the app quit letting me sign in and told me I had an authentication failure. So I reset my password and it still won’t recognize my log in credentials. I deleted and reinstalled app multiple times. Weird thing is, when I log on using the same password on the website, it lets me on with no problem. I’ve contacted and had back and forth between TOH Insider reps, but all their suggestions fail to correct this issue. This is a huge bummer.

Feature request
Great content and thanks for access to it all! Would love a feature to resume where I last left off and tracking to know which episodes I’ve watched and where I left off. 🙏🏻
Software needs work
I’ve been a lifetime TOH fan, so I was excited about this app and insider. Unfortunately, after watching a video from this app on an iPad, there’s no way to exit and return to the selection screen. Literally stuck full screen. Plus, the Apple TV and iOS apps do not keep track of what you’ve watched, so you can’t start where you left off without remembering exact season / episode.
