  • Useful but buggy…

I got this app because I needed help visualizing time. I had a bad habit of always running late and wanted to get to work earlier than I was doing before. So far, it’s helped in that regard once I fine tuned my schedule and I consistently used it in the weekdays. While I’m disappointed that manually making checklists is behind a paywall, I still find the premade ones helpful and it’s helped me get through my workdays. But the reason I docked a star is because it’s so buggy in the one area I really need it: the visual timer.

If I pause the timer on the Home Screen of my phone, there’s a 50% chance it doesn’t actually register and the clock is still running in the app, or I tell it to resume and doesn’t start in the app. This is immensely frustrating, because if I go in the app to check something off and to see how much time I have left, there’s a chance the clock never even started again! Or the timer will say I have one minute left on the home screen but then six minutes in the app. This throws me and my schedule in the app off. How am I supposed to visualize time if the app can’t even keep time too? 😭 I’ll still use the free version but I won’t pay for it until this is fixed.

  • ADHD & Organizational Nerd - I love this app!

I was diagnosed with inattentive ADHD as an adult. My entire adult life, I’ve been in highly organizational & administrative work roles. I could keep everything together at work (with the help if a lot of systematization & such), but totally ran out of energy to keep my personal life organized. I’ve tried SO many apps - Reminders, Trello, Notion, Emailing myself tasks, setting alarms, calendaring everything, having a self-planning meeting. None of them stuck. I’ve been using Tiimo for about 3 months & actually feel more inclined to lean into it rather than feeling it slowly slipping away. The deign is comforting, the language around supporting neurodivergent folks is encouraging. I haven’t even done the paid plan yet.. and part of me doesn’t want to because I like being limited to only being able to schedule tasks for certain days, rather than having a list that “i’ll get to sometime”. The daily reviews allowing me to push things to the next day are genius. Ideally, someday, they’ll make an AI feauture (or automation) that allows me to gather all tasks in a list & click “schedule these” and they’ll automatically spread out over the course of days, with rules like “only 1 large task per day” or “no tasks on weekends”… ya know? But! Anyway, I like this app & think it’s worth a shot. (:

  • Paying to be reminded on a reminding app!?

Do not get me wrong. Tiimo WAS a fantastic apps before this update; it was free to create a checklist and have widgets on your iOS device, but now it is basically useless.

I stopped using Tiimo briefly after starting school because everyone has their own schedule, but I started using it again this summer because I have all the time in the world and need to keep track of it because of my neurodivergence and OH BOY. The first thing I saw was a subscription ad, which is fine since the app is still fictional without the extra abilities, right? WRONG. Apparently, if you want to create a checklist to meet your particular needs or if you want to be reminded before you activity, you must pay.

I could understand if the membership was for other bonuses, such as virtual learning sessions or expert courses, but what about the app's overall purpose? What's the sense of having the app if it serves no function for individuals who don't have the money or who may not be able to subscribe at all? It's very aggravating; yes, the app is still usable, but it's not practical.

  • Has potential

I am willing to invest in an app to keep myself on task and organized. While I didn’t want to pay right away, I got an offer (that would shortly expire) for 25% off so took the leap after playing with it for a day. I am already frustrated. If I schedule a task, like a meeting, but then the meeting runs over…that will affect the rest of my plans. This happened today. But once the Tiimo time starts, it’s VERY difficult to readjust the other tasks. I knew there (unfortunately) wasn’t an easy way to batch-shift all tasks to a new time (say, move them all 15 minutes), but I was willing to adjust each one. The problem is, again, once the timer starts. My only choices are to resume or pause the task. Pausing it makes it look gray as though I have completed it. Editing it does NOTHING, inexplicably. The only surefire way is to delete the task and start all over again—how is this effective for saving mental energy and time?

Also, it would be really helpful if there was a way to select colors and create our own palette that could be used consistently and easily. While there is a way to save colors, it’s clunky to get to them.

I also read that there is a way to create routines but either that’s gone now or it’s just not intuitive for me.

Thanks for your review and we are sorry to hear that the app has been frustrating. We are already building a feature that will make it possible to drag and drop planned tasks, this will be available in the coming months. We hope that it will help alleviate the stress of shifting tasks around. It should be possible to edit tasks whether they are active/paused/not yet start/completed, please reach out on our email (hello@tiimo.dk) if it is not possible to do this on your app, it sounds like a bug and we will like to look into it for you. While the routines have been removed, it is possible for our activity feature to function the same way as a routine. But we will like to hear from you what you are missing from the current activity feature, we will appreciate your feedback. Thanks so much for your feedback on the colour selection feature, it has been forwarded to the team. Warmly, Team Tiimo
  • Great work!

You have caught me at the perfect time. Every single app I’ve tried has fallen very short. You have managed to include smartly and visually appealingly everything I need in order to accomplish tasks. For this I used to need multiple apps and paper and an additional brain. This marriage of time clocks and AI for the task lists and authentically and automatically timing things out is sweet song k don’t see divorce coming anywhere in the near future. Could you do me a dear and make it easier to figure out how to revisit a website to read later? It would be nice to have one central list of media to copy links off and revisit them all from the same place u have to-do lists and appointments. This way I can assign a task to it with the time and for it into busy schedule. It’s very important to know exactly how much time i have allocated to each task/problem/appointment. I’m also figuring out what happens when an appointment spans several days, and what a printout/visualization of my entire history will look like.

Wow, hearing how our small app is being this helpful to you means a lot to us 💚💫 Thanks for giving our app a chance, we sure as well don´t want to hear any divorce whispers ;-) How about positing the links in the notes section? Then when you want to view them later, you can do so via the app? Drop us a line on our email: hello@tiimo.dk so that we can give more pointers on how you can get multiple use of the features in the app. We will also like to hear more on your feedback. Have a lovely day! Warmly, Team Tiimo
  • A Lifesaver for the Neurodivergent Community

Last update: add a “focus mode” that reduces clutter and I’ll be the happiest person in the world.

Edit: I still love this app, but it’s too cluttered for me now. I understand the intent of the “Learn” tab, but it’s more stuff on the Home Screen of the app that I’ll never touch. The lofi beats are great but you hear the same track after about an hour, and that isn’t great for my focus. As someone with ADHD, the app simply has too much crammed into a space that’s suppose to help me think, not overwhelm me.

As a neurodivergent individual, Tiimo has been an absolute lifesaver for me. Having used it daily for over two years, I can confidently say it's an essential part of my routine. The app provides the structure and checklists I need to navigate my day effectively. Its AI feature is a standout, allowing me to get started quickly and’s easily on any activity. I recently used it to help me create a list to manage panic attacks. Tiimo's intuitive design and tailored approach make it unrivaled in the market. It's not just an app for me; it's a daily companion that brings order and peace to my life. I'm a loyal user for life and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable, supportive organizational tool.

  • Just started to use the app.

I’ve been using Tiimo for a short period, and I see its potential. The visual aspect is great, but it would be even better if AI could dynamically adjust tasks throughout the day. Manually inputting tasks is fine, but as someone with ADHD, there’s room to reduce unnecessary taps for a smoother experience. Additionally, compatibility with MacBook would be a significant improvement.
It would be great if Tiimo could incorporate task transition scheduling, allowing users to account for travel time between activities. Adding the ability to include links in the schedule would enhance the app’s functionality. As a digital content creator, a feature to schedule an upload content content directly to social media from the app would be incredibly useful.
I think the concept for the app is great, especially when it comes to individuals who have ADHD and autism because it can be extremely difficult to maintain time management and stay on a healthy routine
Excited to see how Tiimo evolves with these potential enhancements!

  • 5 stars all the way. should get this.

It’s just so good in many ways. I love that it lets you pause your task because I always am accidentally taking too much time and it just helps so much that you can pause it. Also, just the fact that it shows how much time you have and that you can stop early and it’s just an amazing app for ADHD like and I’m always so off task and yeah it’s just my task get very confusing I don’t wanna do them, but when something tells me that I need to do it, I will do it, and yeah I just love this app and I think you guys should get it because it’s really good and I help us a lot of problems so if you get it get it black and also not expensive at all, you don’t even have to pay anything most apps I’ve tried to get you have to pay and pay and pay and I’m like just like why do you have to pay to do your daily tasks but with this you just get a little bit more stuff with you pay I don’t pay but it’s really good deal if you do but I just don’t that’s a good thing I don’t make you pay too, so I really recommend this app very much very well-deserved five Stars. Thank you guys for making this app it is amazing.

  • App doesn’t work…

The two things I need most—widgets and Watch notifications, do not work. Every couple days you have to go back into the watch app and the iPhone app and reload it so the widget and watch works. I was a paying customer, but now I’m switching to the app Structured. Tiimo told me they have a small team and iOS is breaking their functionality and they don’t have time to fix things so quickly. But meanwhile they’re releasing GUI updates on color themes and such. A company fails because it focuses on the wrong things. Get the app working right in its current form, and then add all the silly features you want. I have ADHD and I just need to be reminded when to do things throughout my day. Tiimo can’t even do that.

UPDATE: Tiimo replied to this review. But it’s obvious PR. They stopped replying to my emails. That’s why I left this review. Their last email told me they fixed things. I checked the new update and nope—still widget issues and notifications issues. I paid Tiimo and they didn’t care about my money. So I’ve moved to another app that I’m happy with.

Tiimo, as a piece of advice, do not promote features that you do not actually have.

  • I am Neurodivergent and just installed it

I am neurodivergent and I found this app and I started with the free version but I needed lists inside the bigger task and I believe in order to do that you need the premium for $6.99 a month which is not bad at all so I paid that! The free version you could add all the things you want! It unlocked more colors and the checklist and I can even put my calendar into the daily schedule, to get widgets you have to pay, also to have more profiles and all reminders and Lock Screen widgets as well and notes and full customization! It is totally worth the money no ads no bugs no glitches when I’m doing stuff and even in free mode I didn’t have no glitches or anything. I don’t see any they could do differently or add to it as you can even put Routines like your morning routine or anything else in here, tasks and editable and everything that you need for the task did I mention color coding and emojis which is super cool and I love different colors don’t you!!!
