  • great app but has gone downhill

I love tiimo! There’s really nothing else quite like it out there, and it’s an incredibly useful tool. However, with recent updates the app has become incredibly difficult to use. For example, now to create routines you have to click through a few screens and search the word “routines”. This is a massive problem for me, as the bulk of what i use tiimo for is my own routines. Also, now every time you make a new activity, it auto-inputs an icon and a tag. I don’t want this! And at first, if you accidentally missed the X on the tag, you’d have to delete the whole activity and start over to get rid of it. I don’t use tags, they’re in my way. And the suggestion is often way off anyways. Additionally, now a user is unable to delete an activity set for “all day”, which wouldn’t be as big of a problem if there was an option to have an “end date” on repeating activities (to me, a basic feature). I used to think the premium subscription was well worth it. But with all of this in my way now, i’m not so sure anymore. I hope to see these things fixed soon.

Hi, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear this. Please trust that with all the new updates, we are trying to improve the app, our sincere apologies that these have made the app difficult to use and we understand your frustration ❤️‍🩹 You can create a new routine by long pressing the + icon in the my day section, this will give you the "add routine" option. Thank you for your feedback on the auto-input and the all day activity features , we will take them back to the team so that they can take them back to the drawing board. We hope you will give us another chance and stay. Warmly, Team Tiimo
  • Close but needs work

I really like the concept of this app and I think it has a lot of potential. It can definitely be helpful in its current state. However, my two biggest gripes with the app is its implementation of the tasks done any time and the Notes section for tasks that aren’t to be scheduled yet. When a task goes incomplete, I have go back to the previous day and reschedule said task. Which is all fine, if you can remember that task was there in the first place because there is no sort of reminder or auto rescheduling function. I most certainly will forget about a previous days task I was unable to complete until it becomes a problem. The notes section at the top right is also an issue for me. I get what they were doing, but I keep forgetting that it’s there because of how small of a section it is. I understand it helps keep the planner from getting clogged but again, I’m going to forget. As someone living with adhd, forgetting is my constant state of being so because of these two things, it a deal breaker for me. If they implemented a reminder feature in the future, mostly for the incomplete tasks, I would definitely consider using the app.

  • End up frustrated every time

I really love Tiimo, I do, but the app never really seems to actually get easier to use with updates.

There is still an issue with calendar syncing. If you accidentally delete a calendar synced event from your timeline, you’re out of luck on ever getting it back on Tiimo. I’ve tried un-syncing and re-syncing my calendar, signing out and back in, it never restores the event in Tiimo even though the event is still visible in my calendar. It’s extremely frustrating to not have a fix for this, it almost eliminates the benefits of being able to sync calendars in the first place if you have to spend the extra time manually inputting things that should show up with that calendar. Syncing across devices also still needs work..they never reflect changes made within the other. (Ex: Accidentally deleted a calendar synced event on my iPad, but it still shows up on my phone. Any edits I make will not sync across devices. So weird.)

Also, I really wish they would give us an update that has an option to have routines and events read out-loud to you. This would be particularly helpful for your users with dyslexia, vision disabilities, etc.

  • Good but many features are behind a pay wall

I was super excited to try this app when I saw adds for it because of its list feature. I need to make lists and having a planner with space for that would have been incredible. Sadly that feature is not free. A lot of the features I was looking forward to using ended up being behind a pay wall. I also wish activities from one routine could transfer to another. It would be easier than having to make a new activity for the same thing multiple times. As well as being able to restart an activity! It's super frustrating to have to make a new activity when the app auto starts it. Its still a good app and I suggest it I just don't want others to be disappointed.

Update: Im still using the free version months later to make sure I love it and its really awesome! I love check lists and this fit all the right boxes. Seeing when my next event is has come in handy a ton! I found a work around for having to restart an activity but it takes a bit.

  • Didn’t work for my adhd

This app gives you a reminder but then automatically starts your task or routine for you assuming that it was diligently started. It should have an option to not automatically start just keep reminding until you manually hit a start button. I thought maybe it’s just cause I have the free basic version which I used for a day and half and didn’t get any of it done honestly. I subscribed for free trial of full version and no change in options to not automatically start. Just more reminders before and halfway through task, still didn’t help me though. This is a huge flaw in the app especially for users with adhd who procrastinate or get distracted. We need constant reminders to start a task/routine not have it assume we are doing it and also if we were diligent enough to start at time of reminder if we pause, it should have reminders to resume it cause we all know we get distracted and went to something else😉. Hope the developers can change this automatic start, I’ve went through some reviews after trying the app and realized others complain of this too. Shouldn’t have been so impulsive to download, glad I didnt lose money though, now hoping I remember to unsubscribe before trial ends🤭

  • Why is it so hard to do the most basic things?

I have had this app for one day so far. There are things that I like about it already, however I am not sure I will use it due to many counterintuitive mechanics. Last night when I was trying to schedule my day for today, although I thought I was scheduling on the correct date, I was unknowingly scheduling for the day I was in, which had mostly already passed. There does not appear to be any way at all to move all the tasks forward in one batch, and rescheduling them individually pushes me to a different tab and starts the activity automatically, which I do not want. I tried searching for help on the help center but found no relevant information. Now I am wasting a lot of time battling with this productivity app, rather than getting anything done. I also cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a task at the same time as another task, which is kind of ridiculous. You want me to drink a glass of water, but I have to finish the other task I’m working on first? Unless something changes for me very quickly, I will not be keeping this app.

Dear ideamutt, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear about your experience. Your feedback has been passed to the team to look into when doing future developments. It is not possible to move task forward in a batch, but you can reschedule different activities. It is possible to plan activities that occur at the same time, the app allows this and you will see both activities displayed simultaneously in the Right Now section of the app. We would love to hear what you want to be changed, reach out to us our email: hello@tiimo.dk if you do not mind. We look forward to hear from you soon. Warmly, Team Tiimo
  • Great so far , missing beneficial feature

I just recently came across this app and I love the adjustability of planning and creating routines. The ability to see routines and calendar events- love this! The only problem I have with the app right now is that it auto continues on to the next activity in a routine. This doesn’t help me at all. I have not seen a setting to change this. I also can underestimate how long a task can take to complete. As someone with ADHD a large part of managing it is knowing how long I take to complete a task to be able to manage my time in the future. I’m sure other folks can relate. A feature / option where it can be indicated a task is completed before continuing to the activity would be great, along with the timer continuing in order to track how long the activity actually took.

I’m going to continue to use my free trail and see if the app can fit my needs despite not having this feature.

  • Finally a planner for ADHD

I absolutely love how this app is made by someone who is neurodivergent, for neurodivergent people. I have tried hundreds of apps, planners and reminders. I even tried writing on paper. But I always either give up because I’m not motivated enough or I misplaced my planner, or forget to check my apps. This app works for me. I put it on my home screen and always remember to check it because of how fun it is. It’s also really rewarding to set up all of your activities and makes me feel so accomplished, which motivates me to do more.

I usually use planner apps for homework, but with this I can write down my assignments on my notes and then set activities and times for each one.

Definitely recommend giving it a go if you’ve had trouble finding an app or way to plan things.

  • Like it but is broken

I’m someone who needs to organize my day by the minute, and this app was great except for when it wasn’t. One day I tried to change the time because I was running late and an unknown error came up. It deleted my whole schedule. I was able to get it back by resetting the app but it kept on happening. Maybe the fifth or sixth time I reset it, it came back but deleted all my check marks in the boxes. I’m the kind of person that needs everything to be done at the right time and because it says “completed at ____ time” it really made my whole day go bad. Good app but they need to fix this

  • Too Many Bugs

Bugs make this nearly unusable. I check things off, and they magically become unchecked. I move things around, reschedule things, etc. and click save changes, but the changes don't save. Sometimes I get notifications, sometimes the notifications don’t go through. I pause an activity only for it to unpause itself. Great concept, but what feels like bare minimum execution. If it were one or two bugs, perhaps they could be overlooked, but when my day becomes centered around trying to adjust an app (eg doing the same “reschedule to tomorrow” action 5 times in attempt for it to work) - well thats just not very productive.
