  • I keep coming back to it

This app has been a lifesaver for my ADHD. It checks all the boxes- easy to schedule tasks, syncs with Apple Watch for easy tracking of next tasks, seamlessly keeps me moving throughout my day, ready-made routines, can be accessed via desktop anywhere (!!!!!!), and most importantly: easy to REORDER things and they magically get rescheduled correctly (omg this is probably the main reason I come back to Tiimo vs others). They keep updating the app and I just re-subscribed after finding out my old sub ended and other apps just didn’t do it for me. They either took too long to add a task (a deadly thing for ADHD brain) or restructuring the day was just AWFUL. Back to Tiimo it was.
One suggestion I have for making the latter even more seamless would be to have time slots visible during the blank day to make scheduling tasks even easier (instead of having to select a time when creating or editing a task, just dragging it into the correct time slot or clicking/dragging he time slot to create a task would make it even easier for people like us with executive dysfunction.
Please, please do not stop supporting this app. <3

  • Bugs

I’m not sure if this problem is new, but I used Tiimo a few months ago and it seemed to work fine. Now I get logged off everything 30 seconds when I open it.
I really wanted to love this app and when it is working correctly I find it incredibly helpful. However despite reaching out to the team multiple times I have never receive a response.
It’s super frustrating because I need an app like this to keep my life in order. I have horrible memory issues lately and this was my saving grace. I put several hours into setting up my routines and activities so it would be optimized for my use, and in the past week I have used it the issue has persisted every single day.
I would love if this could be fixed. It is a paid service after all.

  • Sanity saver!!!

I don’t have an official diagnosis yet, but I have many symptoms of ADHD and just now discovering it in my 30s. I feel like so much of my life has been explained and time management has always been a struggle for me. I work full time, mostly remote, homeschool 2 of our 4 kids so far, and run a small business. I’ve been looking for something like this app for a long time. Paper planners only help for a short period of time for me and then I forget to check it and waste half of it. I love that this fills so many gaps I didn’t know I had or needed - the heads up notifications that a specific routine or activity is about to end or halfway done is awesome. So is the notes area where you can braindump a to do list or anything you want and then actually schedule it straight from there if needed at a later time. The integration with Apple Watch is also awesome bc I can put my phone away and have super focused time but still get the reminders I need (i know you can do focused mode on iPhone, but I’m still tempted to get distracted with my phone nearby). I’ve only had this app for a couple days and am still learning it but will definitely be keeping it past the trial! I love love LOVE this! Thank you so much for putting so much thought and intentionality into Tiimo!

  • A lot of potential, needs work

Apple Watch app is basically not functional - can’t check off items, can’t go to the end of an activity (or skip). Doesn’t change between activities when the time runs out. This is a dealbreaker for me personally; I can’t be running to my phone between items in the routine.

There seems to be some training required to use this app. For example, what on earth is the difference between an activity and a routine? Why can’t I have checklists in a routine? Why can’t activities be a part of a routine?

Excellent idea in this app: the “notes” section and the ability to drop tasks from there into your day. But the keyboard covers the part where you type, so it’s really hard to input tasks.

I don’t love that the daily calendar UI shows my completed tasks/routines/activities. It creates a lot of confusion when looking at that screen. Would be helpful to have an option to turn this off or at least collapse the items in that section. It’s also not clear why routines happen at “any time” by default - that seems to defeat the purpose of the calendar view.

I would love to come back to this app when it can be used from the Apple Watch. I currently use Routinery but was looking for something that is a little more calendar-like so I can schedule around my work calendar. Unfortunately this is just not usable right now.

  • No notifications defeats the purpose

After changing my notification settings, updating the app and my phone (iPhone 11 Pro), and reading the troubleshooting information as to why I am not getting Tiimo notifications, I realized this app is not for me if I can't consistently get notifications (ADHD). If I have too many apps running in the background on my phone it overwhelms me so I have the habit of quickly swiping to close them all when I'm ready "to be productive" (there is no alert popping up to ask if I'm sure I want to close the app). Low battery mode is always going to be on. Having this app open all the time and remembering to open it each time and every morning is unrealistic for me. Great concept, but functionally, not for me.

  • Love the app and a few suggestions for you ❤️

So, I love TIIMO and it’s almost there but not quite yet. I have a major issue with the routine function, as you know people with ADHD have difficulty knowing how long an item may take to complete. So, before I’m done with my first item, it’s at the fourth and I feel very defeated. Also, I can’t check off what I have done. So, I’m only using activities. Why can we not drag and drop activities? Like, days get rearranged sometimes (working single mom of three, here) and I don’t like that we can only drag and drop items with “do anytime” feature. So, I set eberything to “do anytime” and then I forget to do them. 🙄 or, I set a task for 13 hours just to keep it open. Some things need restructuring. Also, the to do list/notes feature is not realistic, so I’m using a whole other system for that and now it feels more confusing. We need a way to batch tasks. Like #phonecalls ~ I don’t want to have to remember what color phone calls is. A hashtag grouping feature would be amazing. I love the app and continue to pay, and really hoping things improve soon and I will be a customer and user for life!

  • Watch Difficulty

I love this app and the whole concept. It works perfectly for the app on my iPhone and iPad. The major issue I run into is that the widget on my iPhone I use for an extra visual que and the app on my Apple Watch don’t load properly. My watch is constantly giving me an error reading that it was disconnected somehow and won’t keep up with the schedule. I like to receive my notifications as hepatics on my watch rather than have my phone volume up. This way I stay on track, but doesn’t work if my watch can’t keep up with the schedule.

  • Visual timer is pointless if screen goes dark

This app has good ideas, but it isn’t providing for the main reason I got it, which is to help with my daily routines.
    1. There is no way to keep the screen from going dark during the timers, making the nice, helpful countdown visual pointless.
    2. If the screen is on, the app gives a nice visual celebration when switching activities, but no noise whatsoever. If the screen is dark, I get a phone notification noise between activities. While doing activities, VISUALS and obvious SOUNDS are essential to know how much time I have left and when to switch to the next thing… especially if distracted or hyperfocused!!!
    3. I like that you can schedule routines and they start automatically; however, it just starts in the background with no notifications and I need to remember to open the app to see the timers… which disappear in 1 min when my screen goes dark. And I have turned on every notification option available on the app.

I’m really struggling to understand how this app is helpful for ADHD without these things (unless you have a smart watch, in which case that should be clarified on the info page). It’s disappointing that I paid for a year subscription and now have to go back to setting individual alarms on my phone for these things while searching for a new app.

  • i’m not sold

i’m an adult with lifelong unaddressed neurodiversity and still this is my experience not necessarily that of anyone else. When i first got the app a year or so ago I was really overwhelmed by the number of options for activities and things. I left the app because it just didn’t fit my needs. I’m constantly looking for more organic ways to process info and track activities.
I would love to know more about what tiimo does but the intro to tiimo on the app doesn’t make much sense to me and doesn’t help me to understand the system behind it all and what my options are. i’m beginning to feel overwhelmed by it again.

it doesn’t help that it’s a subscription based app and i’ve had to restore my purchase three times since going for the free trial just 1 hour ago. it’s not completely the developers fault, but the pop up interruption when i don’t expect it is a major cause of frustration for me.

  • Good with the exception of one thing

I love how this app allows you to add tasks to things that you need to get done (so like with breakfast or wind down for bed, it allows you to add each step that needs to get done before accomplishing those things to help make those activities less stressful). I haven’t been able to fully mess around with it to figure out how it fully works but the biggest thing I use it for is to remind myself to breathe throughout the day. I absolutely LOVE that throughout the timer set to do this, it does a countdown until it’s done and even has a celebratory screen halfway through!
My one thing I found frustrating so far is that every now and then, it’ll sign me out so I don’t receive notifications and wind up not noticing for maybe a day or maybe longer since I often loose track of my days.
