First Time an app gave me the same experience online and in store

The creator of this app understands exactly why people choose to grocery shop in Fresh Market. It’s clean, organized, great recommendations for generic search words. I will always be fine to pay more at Fresh Market for these types of experiences. Thank you!

What are you guys doing with this app?

Honestly. First of all, TFM store is great but we aren’t reviewing the store, we are reviewing this poo poo app. I can’t even add my debit card. Thought maybe I’m crazy and tried entering my other debit card. Nope, another error. I know it’s NOT me, but tried again anyways with my credit card. Every time I tried to add a card it gave me an error message. I had already shopped and picked out my items and everything but couldn’t check out because it wouldn’t let me add a card to pay. I ended up going in person to a closer grocery store. I feel like this app has always been glitchy and also just not used friendly all around. Time for new developers, TFM! If you are near a store, just go inside- don’t bother with the app.

App gets worse with each update

I am ASTONISHED at how AWFUL this app is. It is without question the worst app I have to use on a regular basis. Completely non-intuitive layout. Signing in is always a debacle. Checking out takes forever and glitches or crashes often. The ads are obnoxious. Sometimes instead of the app just loading, it takes me to the mobile website, which is somehow worse. And each update seems just to add more of the bugs that make the app terrible instead of addressing things that need improvement. Pretty pathetic.

The Fresh Market is great, the app is terrible!

Since May 2023, nothing but issues when wanting to place orders. I used to be able to order weekly, curbside pick up, even the Associates became accustomed to my replacements… but since the entire app was revamped in order to allow customers to receive “in store” specials via the app - pretty disastrous. Not only did it take about five months to be able to gain access to my account and order again, then app glitches thanks to Instacart and even as a Loyalty member, the prices are higher and the specials rarely show up. Like I mentioned, for the most part, the Fresh Market is a great store since Earth Fare closed down and Trader Joe’s doesn’t offer curbside.

Only good for browsing products

Installation failed at first but somehow managed to put an icon on my home screen. Noticed the icon a couple of days later and tapped it. Installation successfully completed, finally. Tried to log in, it keeps telling me email or password is wrong. Same credentials work fine in browser on desktop computer. Yes I double and triple checked. Even changed to the ALL CAPS spelling of my email that I found in my password manager.

Not much good if I can't place an order!

Struggled to sign up for loyalty (I wasn't the only one), they finally fixed that, now another hurdle. Ugh. It's almost as if vulture capital can't actually "business" 😒

Im not a robot - really!

The app won’t let me sign in, because it insists that I am a robot. My email address and password are happily accepted every time by the website. When I try to sign into the app, it asks me to prove I am not a robot by clicking squares. However many times I successfully click the squares the app still does not accept my login, and throws me back to do more square filling. Time after time after time. It never. Lets me log in. Please fix this!

No longer works

This app no longer works. I’ve tried removing and re-downloading and that did nothing. When I enter any item in the search bar, my results are snippets of hugely enlarged photos (the photo is hugely enlarged, but the photo square remains the same size so I can see a small square of the bottle lid, for instance, on a jar of spicy mustard. And there are huge spaces between all of the listings on a page. The titles to the listings remain regular sized so if you know what you’re searching for, you’re fine. It’s completely unusable as it is. I have to open the Instant Cart app to see what Fresh Market has. And that’s ridiculous. It’s never been a very good app and now it’s hit rock bottom.

App doesn’t accept login but website does

Love the store, hate this app. Every single time I try to login, it says invalid password. However, if I go to the website, I can login woth no problem. That means my login id (email) and password are fine. I tried resetting my password through the link on the app, but I don’t get the email I am supposed to respond to. I DO get regular email from The Fresh Market multiple times a week, so I know my email works for The Fresh Market. There is no “contact us” on the app for app specific concerns.

Doesn’t include Loyalty Experience

I downloaded this app to do curbside shopping during the pandemic. I also use it occasionally to check to see if they carry a particular item so I know whether I am about to make a wasted trip. But the app needs updating to include the new TFM Loyalty Experience with its special offers, coupons, clubs, and wallet. So the customer needs to bounce between the app and the TRM website. Annoying.
