The wife and I decided to upgrade and improve our attic insulation and the habitability of our home.
One of the improvements made was the addition of an attic fan.
This attic fan came with an app that allows the wife and me to monitor the condition (temp wise) of issue attic.

Great-until you change phones
Tempted to get a new phone? Don’t. Unlike virtually every other app I have, this one has to be paired with the fan if you get a new device. This is a MAJOR defect. Dev could make it portable (my home’s alarm system recognizes a new device) but evidently they think customers have no value after they’ve sold them the fan.Show lessLDMDRD
VERY well thought out - Home Assistant would be 5 stars
One of the best consumer electronics companion apps I have experienced. It’s really part of the overall product design which is easy to install and straightforward to use.
The control box is designed to mount in the attic and so how to you trigger pairing mode to add other house memebers phones - via the app. Obvious once someone tells you - but imagine if you had to go through the crawl space to press a button.
The design is pretty much - set and forget however so you won’t really need to use the app unless you are interested in the temperature and humidity readings. You might use it to switch from summer to winter settings twice a year. Easy defaults are provided - might be improved if there were defaults for different regions.
The device is capable of connecting to the home WiFi in order to update its firmware. This works seamlessly.
The company are missing a selling point for us Home Assistant geeks - it would be great to use the ESP32 chip and its WiFi capability to allow us to see the sensor data or perhaps even control the fan in tandem with other home automations.

Great system
The fans were a breeze to install, although my triangular louvres required some finagling to funnel fan exhaust smoothly thru them. Aside from that only creating the two outlet plug was an issue--a nobrainer. Great unit, app works well, and fans are well built.bbbbullshit
Wish Alexa google or Siri ready
It does really great for what it’s attended to, but I wish it could go be compatible to Alexa Siri or Google Chrome would be awesome if it was IFTT ready or linked to the Weather apps, but hopefully this software can be updated but it does what it’s supposed to doKeeping cool smart way
Please add some features
Please add ability to turn fan on/off based on time of day. There should also be an option for Smart Control mode to work with time of day. For example, this will allow the fan to use time of day in the morning to precool the space, then use Smart Control later in the day. Also, after using the timer function, there should be an option to automatically go back into Smart Control mode rather than just shut off.Show lessRickJW@
Works a long distance using blue tooth. WiFi is for getting updates from the Web.
Very happy with the new exhaust fan.
The carpenter did a great job installing it. It’s very quiet. And yes, we can tell that it’s making a difference inside of the houseSreedReed
Equalize with outdoor temp…
My only ask is if it could shut off when attic temp is equal to outside temp… like my settings might be 85 degrees but outside temp low for the night is 90… if my attic gets down to 90 I don’t really want the fan running all night trying to get to 85… it’ll never get below the low temp for the night… let it rest when it equals outside temp!Show lessGreatest Idea

App works as it is described. I would like to see a trend button or a history button that shows a graph of the temperatures and humidity over the last day, week, or a custom time frame.Nuclearmikey
Needs work
The wireless connectivity of this app does not work. I was trying to control the settings of the fan however it kept saying not connected. I have tried reaching out to customer service and have heard nothing. Also have tried resetting the unit multiple times and different ways and it will not allow me to use my phone to control the settings. It’s either on low or high all the time I cannot change it.Show lessLowandgo
