Great fan but terrible App and Customer Support
Difficult to connect to App. Called and sent message for Customer support over 19 days back and still no word. They could have made it easier by 1. Used WiFi connect vs Bluetooth 2. Should be able to download App without going through Apple ID approval, no one is going to download the App unless they have one of their fans.
It is much easier to connect to the fan before installing it in the attic.Show lessVSethna

Does everything right
This app is what other smart products should be. it doesn’t force you to use an account, but does offer cloud syncing if you do opt to use an account. the bluetooth range on the device is INCREDIBLE! i can be downstairs and still connect to the attic fan. the app is very easy to use, guides you through every step perfectly. offers helpful recommendations but allows you to modify every setting. offers additional seasonal configurations AND MANUAL OVERRIDES. the data it presents is clear and concise and the layout and interface is clean and elegant. 5/5 give the developers a raise this is the first smart product i’ve seen that doesn’t have some type of drawback. very well done app.Show lessXanderLuciano
Effective but lacking features
Having monitored my attic temperature before and after installation, I know the fan is effective. My issue comes with the lack of app features. The first was that it asked to connect to my WiFi network, but it does not allow for remote access to the fan, which would be great if it did. Even stranger is that it connects only via Bluetooth, so I don’t know why it wanted to connect to my WiFi network. The second issue is more of a convenience issue. There is not a run timeframe setting. It only reacts to temperature or humidity levels. That’s all good, but there should be a setting, much like “do not disturb” on your phone which would perform a time of day-based action. For example, the high setting is a little noisy and my fan is located over my kitchen. It’s hot in Texas often up until the sunsets, so it’d be nice to have the fan change speeds around dinner time so the noise goes away and not have to go into the app to change the speed setting. There is enough noise during daily life and it’d nice to enjoy a peaceful meal. Again, this would just be a convenience feature.Show lesstxcycleguy
Connects well
This all connects well with my attic fan. And I am surprised of the Bluetooth range. I also like the function to pair to other devices with the app so I don’t have to go into the attic and push the pair button. I do wish it would log the temp and time data so I could see the data throughout the day. Even if it was just the max and min temperatures with what time they occurred would be helpful.Show lessandrewlc
Easy and Effective
This attic fan is a “set and forget” feature that keeps our upper story 10-20 degrees cooler than before. One of the best things we have done to manage hotter weather. 😊1949dave
Awesome attic fan/ App could be greater!
The fan is absolutely great. Simple to install, and easy to setup. The only thing I would even change in the fan construction, I would’ve like to of seen it made out of a little bit heavier gauge material. I’m sure though that is what keeps it affordable though. Now as far as the app goes. Everything about the APP is great. The only disappointing feature that I was unaware of until after I installed the unit, it only works within 50ft are so of the unit. So you cannot leave your house and check the status of the unit. Would absolutely awesome if the APP would run off of cellular data, and you could check it or make adjustments from anywhere. Not a deal breaker for me, but could be amazing all together if you could do that !!!!Show lessrangermja
Good but found a flaw (or haven’t learned how to use)

Really love our attic fan and programming. The Bluetooth is more than enough. Don’t really need WiFi, though remote monitoring and control would be nice.
Here’s the flaw in the app. Let me know if I’m not understanding something:
I normally use the fan in Smart Mode, but sometimes change to Timer Mode. When the timer has run out, I’ve usually forgotten that I was in timer mode and sometime too late the next hot day I realize that I didn’t manually return to Smart Mode.
In other words Timer Mode should not turn off Smart Mode.Show lessLetter Warrior
Well built fan, good value
This fan is in the price range of cheaper single speed fans. 3 speed with Bluetooth connectivity. Comes with kit to insulate box to keep air flowing outside. Very easy install & quiet fanJDTII
