  • Could be 5 stars with just a little bit of customization

I agree with many other reviews in that we need just a bit more customization for controlling the different speeds. I got mine because I had high humidity in the winter, but there is no way to make it ramp to higher speeds when higher humidity levels are present especially in the winter. I would love it if there was a way to increase speed when humidity increases. Seems like the app developer for this product should be able to do that. I’d even pay for this in an upgraded app.

  • Works But Could Be Improved

This app does work relatively well once you get it paired up and going. It would be nice to have a chart or graph showing the temperatures over time. Even a daily max/min would be nice. If that’s not possible, some sort of API where we could pull it ourselves would suffice. Also, the unit has a WiFi radio that is used to download FW updates. It makes me wonder why that can’t be used for connectivity instead of Bluetooth, if desired. That could be an option as well (which would make the API easier to implement). Bottom line, it does work. It’s just not overly user friendly or feature rich. Pretty basic app.

  • Almost grate but it actually heats up my attic first.

Ez basic app but my problem is that I need the on temperature settings to be different from the off temperature settings. I live in the desert and it gets hot quick out side. This creates a problem my fan actually turns on when the attic is cooler than outside “80f” turns on but it’s “90f” outside. So I up the on temp to “90f” but then when it cools off to “70f” at night the fan shuts off to soon. If you add a separate temp option for turning on and off we can have the fan turn on @ “90f” then stay on until the attic cools off to “70f”.

  • Only allows one phone to be paired at a time

Whenever try to pair more than one phone , it cannot discover the unit. Major bug.
  • Suggestion on modes

It would be so much if one could remain in Smart Mode and run a timer at the same time. It’s frustrating when you remember you didn’t manually go back and put the fan back into smart mode.
  • Doesn’t pair

I have a QC system and it doesn’t connect to any of my mobile or tablet devices, and I know I am doing it right as I’ve paired my fan controls successfully already.
  • Exactly what I needed

Look… This system does exactly what it claims to do. It’s not overly complicated, it doesn’t have lots of bells and whistle‘s and frankly… It’s straightforward control of attic temperature. The app has the basic functions you need. You can turn off and on the fan and adjusted speed as you desire. You can preset seasonal temperatures to kick the fan on automatically. Honestly, over complicated applications tend to stop working and defeat themselves. The fan construction is high-quality. The motor is cast and made of metal parts. The housing is strong and durable. The control box is sealed and well protected and has 3 basic buttons to manually control the fan. The best part is the unit comes wired with a 110 wall plug. There is no need to connect directly to the box through a hardwired system if you choose not to. I found the installation extremely easy. One hour and I had the entire system set up and running.

  • Works when it works

Do you like going into your attic and hanging out?
Do you like going back up to your attic and hanging out?
Do you like putting a wifi access point in your attic to make sure your connection remains stable only to back up into your attic to hang out?
Do you like to have this app work all winter long then fail during the summer so you can hang out up in your 140 degree attic?
If so, have I gotta controller for you!

  • Basic Control

Not bad, I was able to pair my phone and figure out the operation.
  • It’s ok

I’d like to see a temperature over time graph added.
