Can’t create an account
Keep getting stuck in a loop. Can’t reserve my spot for outdoor classes, which is all that’s offered. In other negative reviews, they respond by saying to call the YMCA office. I can’t see how that will help.
WORST APP EVRR
I have an account but this stupid app won’t let me login :/ Would give 0 stars if I could.
New App, New Me
The newly redesigned YMCA App has made it much easier to access the programs and amenities offered at the Y. Whether I need to reserve a bike in a cycling class or join an adult kickball program, or track my workouts and goals, the accessibility of “finding my fit” is smooth and simple! Thank you for creating an app that makes it easier to live a healthier lifestyle.

Apple Watch App needs major improvements
Update: there is no image for the complication on my AW3, using the small complication on the Modular face. I’m updated to the latest watchOS and app version.
This update is great in many ways, but I want to encourage the developers to consider if there is a way to improve the check-in function of the Apple Watch app.
When trying to check in, I turn my wrist toward the scanner and my watch goes black.
Also, the data from the old app did not transfer over and I had to work with the front desk to figure out how to log in.
Otherwise it’s a great app.

Not user friendly
No instructions given on how family members could use the app. Only the prime account holder is able to use the app with ease

The quick functionality and ability to pull up classes, add to my calendar, and make sure I stay committed to my goals is a great element of the app.

Can’t login
The ymca charotte app used to work well. I used it daily for group exercise schedules. Now that it’s been updated my login credentials no longer work. I tried to reset my password 4 times and it continues to give an error message that “uh oh, something went wrong”
I even tried deleting and redownloading. Still same errors. I guess I’ll have to start searching online for the exercise schedule. Oh well.

Not Intuitive
The new app is not intuitive at all. The filter function allows for “All” or nothing. It is very difficult to find specific classes.
