  • Poor customer service - charged me with no access to my account

    I got the free trial and cancelled by sending an email before it was supposed yo start charging because I found it expensive for the provided service. But they still charged me; however, they cancelled my access to the account. So even I was charged, I couldn’t use the app. I followed up many times to get my money back or at least activate my account. I received useless responses as if a robot responded my emails. Don’t recommend the app at all.

    After I received the response here, I contacted the customer support. But again the response was irrelevant to my request. I requested either access to my account for a month because last time I paid membership for a month but they cancelled my access so I paid for no service OR a refund. This is the response copied here:
    ‘’ Victoria (Support Team)
    According to our records, your Luvly subscription has already been cancelled and expired. This means that you no longer have access to your account, and there will be no further payments.

  • Enjoying this app

    Although it’s too early for me to see any results, I think this app encourages you to be mindful and in the moment, and to take care of yourself. It’s certainly good for the mind. I feel so relaxed and healthy while doing the exercises I can imagine over time getting into the frame of mind that I accept how I am, I feel grateful for healthy aging, and know that real beauty comes from within. Anything that promotes calm like this app can help us to realise what’s really important I think. So yes, overall, it’s a thumbs up from me, even without the intended results (yet!)

  • The words don’t always match the photo

    Mostly, I like these videos and exercises. I mostly want to get rid of my turkey neck. I am frustrated, though, that so many of the videos concentrate on my eyes and forehead and cheeks. But those aren’t the reasons why I signed up. Although, when I do those exercises, I do see good benefits to my face, so that’s good. But it still leaves me with issues around the neck (under chin) area that bothers me so much.

    I like the narrator’s calm voice. I like the music underneath most of the videos.

    I don’t like when the video does NOT match the narration. “Use a vibrating motion” was mentioned just now, but the person didn’t vibrate her hands on her forehead at all. Who are we supposed to follow? The video? Or the words underneath the video?

    A big one is, “place the palm of your hands here…” and then the video shows fingertips. Which one do we do? Palm of our hand? Or fingertips? I chose palm of my hand, but then I didn’t follow the video.

    It’s bizarre to me that it would be such a discrepancy between the words and the video demonstration.

    I struggle because there is no feedback link on any of the videos. And I don’t know how to contact the app developer.

    One of the ladies in the videos holds her mouth in a way that bothers me. I don’t like her videos at all. It’s like she is doing duck lips the whole time. WHY is she doing that? She looks like she is a snobby person. I don’t want to take lessons from a snob.

  • Free isn’t free… not one free exercise

    The App Store is really becoming a sham. It should not be allowed to say an app is free, if you have to sign up for a PAID free trial (that you only get 3-days free btw). A free trial that automatically starts billing you, is not free!

    There is not one free exercise in this app that you can try without signing up for the “free” trial. What exactly does 3 days do for you when you don’t even start to see results for 4 weeks? Not much. With the way I work, I’ll probably miss the entire trial before I can actually try it.

    They say you can “x” out of the trial off… and yes you can and at the same time “x” out of being able to launch the exercise or other selection you tried to view. Absolutely every exercise and every plan is locked behind the paywall with the 3-day trial that you then have to deal with canceling in time if you don’t want it.

    The onus should be on them to have fantastic enough content to make us want to subscribe. Not bribe us into subscribing and the hold our subscription fees hostage.

    I am so over the subscription service concept.
    People and companies need to start putting their money where their mouth is and create better products and experiences and treat their customers better. Customers can survive with out the app but can the company survive without customers? Time they start rethinking things.

  • The biggest scam

    I have signed up to this a while ago. I did all the exercises yet saw no difference so I cancelled the subscription. However I have been charged over and over for this app even though it’s been cancelled! No response from their team either about this even though I have emailed multiple times! None of the payments are showing up on Apple Pay even though that’s how I subscribed to it. I have ended up contacting my bank who have looked into this and stated that the recurrent charges are not showing up as subscription costs. Basically they STOLE my bank details and were stealing my money! Do not use! TOTAL SCAM! Please do not download they will steal your money!

  • Almost great

    I love this app. I have seen a real difference in my face even though I’m really not as consistent as I should be. I like the program but also the ability to do some focused exercises on the side.
    I signed up for the program for 10 minutes a day and found as a busy mom I can’t even get this done. So it has actually taken me almost a year to get a four week program completed. I would be much more consistent if I could change it to a shorter program for 5 minutes a day.
    My app also lost sound for the program portion. I have the captions I can read but it’s hard when some of the exercises ask you to close your eyes. I’ve restarted my phone and reinstalled the app but it’s still no sound.
    TLDR: can definitely see a difference in my face but app needs some improvements.

    I am now in the habit of doing my face yoga every morning from the comfort of my bed. At 71 I’m not sure if anyone else has noticed any change in my skin and face, but I certainly feel better about myself. The daily exercises keep changing, focussing on different parts. At first glance, it looks a bit like AI but the models demonstrating are real.

  • This App Is A Money Scam!!

    I tried this app with free trial and during the trial decided to cancel as I didn’t use the app enough to warrant the price.
    There is no cancellation capability within the app itself. When I went to my subscriptions in my settings there is no subscription set up to be able to cancel there and so I deactivated the app thinking that’s the only possible way to cancel it and have been charged monthly since. The charge on my phone says it is paid through Apple Pay even though when I got to my Apple Pay and through all my settings and subscriptions I cannot see any mention of an set up outgoing payment and I just can’t find anyway to cancel. I even checked my PayPal to be sure it wasn’t set up there.
    I finally downloaded the app again to see if I missed something and there is a section that says if you can’t see the subscription on your app then log in to deactivate on the website. Even though I didn’t subscribe through a website I decided to give the a go. There is NO possible way to log in via a web log in. This app is an absolute scam and I’m fuming. I still don’t know how to cancel this subscription.
    Do not buy this app.

  • Very complete approach to face yoga

    I have done facee yoga courses with several different companies and this is the most complete. By that, I mean that it approaches the subject using much more than just the face. The explanations are very deep compared to the others that I have tried.
    This is the reason that I am giving five stars. Unfortunately, for me as a much older person, I think my lack of results was due to how much my age had to do with a non-responsive face.

    I would also like to say that the customer service was outstanding and really quick in resolving my issue. Thank you for an excellent experience.

  • Love the app!

    I love using the app at both ends of the day, in the morning 5/10 minutes waking up my skin with yoga stretches before makeup and going off to work and a longer session in the evening working through a variety of exercises. I look forward to seeing improvements, although I’m not expecting miracles as I’m 60, but just taking time for myself especially before bed to practice the techniques gives me a calming end to my day.

    The Luvly team responded quickly to a query I had and were friendly and kind resolving my issue perfectly.
