  • YOU DIDNT LOSE YOUR WORK! BREATH!!!

I downloaded the app and inserted my SDcard, the app isn’t straight forward so I clicked around to try and export my photos I literally almost had a heart attacked when I saw the SDcard was blank in the app. I removed it in a panic, crying thinking I just lost all the footage from the wedding. I put the card in my laptop and BAM all my photos and videos were still there. I screamed thank you Jesus!!! Vivitar app & card reader gets 1 star from me. I thought I found a good solution to transfer my photos only to be sent into an emotional roller coaster, Walmart allowed me to return it.
  • Does not work with IOS 16!!!!

Just purchased this card reader today not realizing it needed an app to work. Once downloaded the app would not stay open and kept crashing. My phone then went completely blank and I was shut out until I reset it.
  • Works perfect for me.

Not sure why other people have had problems but I bought it to check my trail cameras and it works perfectly. I have an iPhone X.
  • Worst Device and App

Horrible product and horrible app. Took photos yesterday and a few weeks ago and half of them will not show on the app and the other half that will are burry or pixelated and say error when I try to save them to my phone. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $5 to get a lightning to SD reader from apple. I had one before this that I lost that I never had a single issue with. 100% do NOT recommend this product or app.
  • Trash

This reader forces you to use this garbage app to import photos onto your device, did I mention it doesn’t even work? -10/10 The only way they could improve this is by making the Vivitar reader 10lb heavier so it could function as a paperweight and actually serve a purpose.
  • No Stars here

This is a real piece of Pooh software, the main interface is portrait only on iPad, and videos from trail camera show landscape. Compared to my old reader from Moultrie that eventually died after two years heavy use, this thing won’t fast forward or rewind photos and videos, they hang up and this is right out of the box 1st time use and with the stupid app.
  • Worst purchase of my life

I didn’t know an SD card reader could be this bad. I got this specifically to transfer raw photos from my A7III but the app claims the files cannot be read by the iPhone. It clearly can, since if you use the multi select function and hit share you can open the photo, but it only allows you to do this with up to 9 photos. I’m not going to sit here and transfer my 250+ photo shoot 9 photos at a time. Literal garbage.
  • crAPP

This app does not show document folders at all, and it has no easy way to transfer large numbers of photos. If you go to all the trouble of selecting all the photos you want to transfer, it will, but they will be put on the memory card in completely random order. This may be a free app, but the service is not remotely worth the money you will pay for the card reader it works with.
  • Outdated

Needs a lot of improvement. It was a good app up until now I can’t even save the videos or watch most of the videos. Everytime I try to save videos or share them, it’ll take 15 mins to load and once it loads, all the progress from the download just gone. Used to love this app but now I’m just getting irritated for waiting and waiting just for all the progress of waiting to be able to download & share, gone. Really hope they get this major issue fixed since it’s the sole purpose of this app.
  • Waste of time and money

Purchased this adapter from Walmart while on a road trip for work. Adapter would not recognize my SD card or even load the files. As I should have known better with previous experiences with Vivitar, another wasted trip and expense on a product and software that simply does not work. I can’t believe that this brand is allowed to continue manufacturing software and products that consistently do not do anything.
