I read reviews saying difficult to use. I found it straight forward and EASY to use. If only you read the email instructions (scroll down to read the instructions in English) there should be no issues. I set up my account in a matter of minutes. It’s sad this is the official app that is required to travel to Indonesia. It does not recognize the information for vaccines or test results you put in. I’m out 400 bucks on covid tests alone because they require a PCR test. Even when you select English, the inner part of the app is in Indonesian. Customer support is an auto bot on WhatsApp that is also in Indonesian. Very bad app and management!!!
Update: I spoke with Indonesian consulate and they informed me this app is not required for entry into Indonesia. The US airport wouldn’t let me board my flight even tho I have hard copy of my vaccine, PCR test and travel insurance - because I didn’t have this ridiculous app that is slow to confirm documents. We have to use this App to travel and enter Indonesia and it does not work, I can not enter my german cell number into the App. Not in the web version or in the App on iPhone.
I have tried 100 times to get my phone number into the App and no luck yet!
What a nighmare and certainly not ready to use internationally.

Brilliant if you are Indonesian
They tell us we need to have this App and get registered and fill in all the details however if your not Indonesian then it’s pretty much impossible to do yet it is meant to cover all foreigners as well
Maybe I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed but it would make a lot of sense if it was also available in other languages or even had a translation button or something to assist you.Show lessAussie travelers

This is a required app to go to Indonesia but unfortunately This is a very complicated confusing not user friendly and not working App. I want to screaming out loud SOS.. someone please come help me.. I am so frustrated not being able even to update or download vaccines certificate. I feel like want to pay someone just to upgrade this app so we can easily compete the form, update information and visit Indonesia. I get headache and give up as things not working. I will call embassy and consulate tomorrow see if someone can help me . I hope this can be fixed soon. This is the worst app I have used. I can’t upload my Covid certification and PCR test. I can’t enter a UK mobile number on my profile. There are hardly any instructions clearly explaining what needs to be done in order to get all my documents uploaded and verified - it’s just a mess! Also when I ask for assistance via Whatsapp, it just appears to be an automated service and there isn’t any english help
or articles. Please can someone improve this service as it is extremely painful to use and it looks like many other users in the reviews below are also experiencing similar issues…Show lessChantelleSSDx

I cannot log back in with email after registering. I registered using my email and then logged out to create an account for my partner as well since she had issues with the app on his phone. Now when I try to log back into mine with my email is says “phone number not registered with WhatsApp please use email to login” when I have already selected the email login option and have entered my email correctly. The app still think it’s in phone number selection when it is clearly on email mode.Show lesskristiand91

The phone number and email fields are backwards. I enter my registered email and it says the phone number is not found. Login works when accessing through web browser. Disappointing to see a government app so poorly developed.Travelimg
Very poor application
Useless app, won’t recognise foreign vaccine certificate (even though it Says it does) therefore won’t allow me to scan in anywhere.
Makes a visit to Indonesia extremely disappointing and a huge waste of money.

Not usable
The app is not usable. I have registered using my e-mail which I subsequently verified, when attempting to login with that e-mail via the app the following message comes up “ The phone number is not connected to WhatsApp.
Please use email to login to PeduliLindungi instead.” ?!?? I am not using a phone number, I am using my e-mail. My e-mail works on the website but again it’s useless to me as the website is in Indonesian and I can’t understand anything.Show lessKrushnRuski
