  • Certificate errors

    This company isn’t great as a landlord, and the app has some security issues with certificates. It seems like with many other things, the company can’t be bothered to complete a job or maintain the things that we pay them for. The payment system does usually work. But if that means insecure connections and my information going everywhere, having no cash payment or check payment options in person is kind of lame and callsist as well as ableist. Then again the ceo did say he wants to squeeze renters. And he’s been doing that.

  • I like it

    Very easy to navigate. Processing times are quicker than they estimate, which is honestly better, that way you can get business done quickly and efficiently, granting you the power to know where you stand financially. There’s no guessing. Contacting the property managers is easier through the app, and quicker. I like that we can all see each other’s posts, and be neighbors while living further apart.

    This app makes everything about living in an apartment building easier. While it’s not a huge difference, being able to put in work orders, pay my rent, etc… is a little thing that makes something a little more simple.
  • Clunky

    My biggest complaints are the purely cosmetic “do not show again” toggle on the “announcements” that immediately pop up when opening the app. They’re not even announcements, they’re plugs for reviewing the apartment complex and following the Monarch Facebook page, and they aren’t even functioning links. You have to close it out every single time and the button does nothing. I would be less annoyed if I weren’t given the fake option to never show again.

    My other complaint is with the bulletin board. Sometimes you’ll scroll through and there will be a huge gap in content so you’re just scrolling through a gray screen. Except it’s not really blank. You can sometimes see posts peeking from behind it, so it’s incredibly difficult to access some posts. Feels like really bad lazy loading. I’ve also commented before and had my comment published several times despite only doing it once.

    Overall there’s just a general sense of “I can’t trust what is being displayed to me as accurate” when using the app, which is a huge no-no. I don’t pay my rent using the app and even if that functionality really works I don’t feel confident enough in the app to use it.

  • Good App!

    This app is convenient, providing easy access to maintenance requests and bill pay. I don’t bother with the bulletin announcements but I did notice that the notifications from the app about announcements are inconsistent. There is also an automatic reminder to “Leave us a review” as soon as I log in with the option to never see that reminder again directly underneath. I’ve selected that and it remains selected however I still get that announcement every time! Lol.. just a few little things could be better. Other than that, this is a good app.

  • Monarch Apartments App

    I just used the Monarch Apartments App on my phone for the first time this evening. I thought that I could only submit a maintenance request using a computer but they have upgraded the app and I was able to submit 2 maintenance requests using my iPhone instead of having to go into the other room, fire up my laptop and submit my requests from there. I’m very happy with the ability to access all parts of the Monarch app from my iPhone also, it makes submitting a request much easier, at least for me.

  • Pop up won’t go away

    Everything about the app works great. Would give it 5 stars but the first thing you see when you open the app is a pop up that says “Leave us a review on Google!” with a button that says to click here not to show that message again… that button doesn’t work. I’ve tried pressing it, not pressing it, pressing it then unpressing it, pressing it 3 times… nothing. It’s a really minor thing. The app works well

  • Convenient To Use

    This is definitely much better than having to pay by check or even going to certain stores to pay. Great app!
  • Maintenance team is great

    We have had very few issues, but when we do, the main tends team is quick to respond and they always do a good job.
