This is another crap

App while purpose is to be able to view results. And that itself is not working. Created support ticket and no surprise i was told to call multiple people to fix the issue with this app. Gave up its crap.I didn’t see before that so many people having this issue. They can’t enter correct information. But they get phone number correct for all. They care only what information they want. Users are not able to use their app is not their problem.

Misinformation

I would be very happy to use this tool but, it will not allow me to login. Upon trying to log in, I get a notice stating that my birthday is incorrect and, frankly, it is not. I am comparing my actual birthday to the info on my test results and, they are one in the same. Thus, I don’t know who has incorrect information but, it renders this tool useless. Update: I did hear from the app developer and was advised to check with my client to see if they also have my my name and phone number listed correctly in their records. I will do so and then revise my review!

COVID-19. Results

I have had new results on my latest COVID test. I wrote a poor review about this website at that time and have deleted that review. Some comments where made in anger because of delays in getting results and difficulty using the site. I returned to the testing site and spoke to an agent and was told my new results would take 3 to 5 days I received the new results and returned to the app. I had better results using the site this time with no problems and was satisfied with using the app. I still feel the app could be improved but I changed my review to a four

Testing

The nurse who RAN out of the door to test people in cars testing quickly and jovial then RUNNING back to the door WAS FANTASTIC ! I was close to a van filled with children. He was so kind and patient as he tested each family member. After testing he RAN back to the door of the clinic, Canyon view Medical Center in Spanish Fork. This testing area is not on you web sight. WE PARKED IN PARKING SPACES IN THE BACK OF THE CLINIC. It was so slick!! I don’t know his name but I would like the thank him and all the medical workers.

No longer accessible.

This used to be a pretty good app, but since the update, I can’t get past the symptoms question in the daily report your symptoms questionnaire because it won’t let me choose none of the above, therefore it won’t let me advance. I use voiceover, and as far as I know it’s just when voiceover is running, but since I can’t turn voiceover off and use it, I’m kind of stuck. An contact tracing app doesn’t do anybody any good if not everybody can use it and report symptoms. I’m trying to figure out how an app that deals with medical issues even got released without being accessible.

Not worth the trouble.

First, is the symptom checker. I answer yes to a scratchy throat and am told to get tested - no consideration for the fact I have terrible sinuses and with all the fireworks it’s got them draining like a goo factory!
Don’t we need some follow up questions to see if it’s normal? For this reason I quit doing the daily checks.
Second, I’m told Utah turned off the location tracking because they thought fewer people will use the app. Wasn’t that the main value in this app? The need for contact tracing? Where is the value now?
The only value now is finding testing - I can do that through the Internet. I will be deleting this app.
Thank you Utah - good use of my money!

Response from developer

Hi Bret.Utah801! Thank you for reaching out. Healthy Together has always had an “off by default” functionality, which means users need to choose to turn them on. This week, we submit a new version that no longer has GPS functionality for anyone that chooses Utah as their state, but users will still be able to opt-in to Bluetooth if they'd like. Bluetooth works differently by recording whether two people’s phones have been near each other long enough to consider it an exposure event. Bluetooth is inherently more private because the location of where the exposure occurred is not known. If you have any additional questions please email us at info@healthytogether.io - Thanks!

Rose-tinted glasses on my phone

The advice your app gives as appropriate activity and precautions given what’s happening in my area is horribly inaccurate and counters what health experts suggest. For example, it is currently only recommending wearing a mask to someone in a high risk category, when 1. Wearing masks barely do anything to protect the wearer but are instead mostly effective for protecting others, and 2. My county has mandatory mask usage in public right now. I really wish my state government hadn’t chosen a contact tracing provider willing to be a political shill and rather one who would make public health its top priority.

Easy way to do my part in keeping this virus under control.

Very easy to do with daily reminders. I have no problem answering the generic questions and I feel safe with my personal info. I wish more people would jump on the bandwagon of using an app like this. Being high risk, it’s just another way I feel I can stay safe and know I can be informed if I come in contact with someone with the virus.

Okay app

I got this app hoping it would let me know if someone I’ve been in contact with has been diagnosed. But I’m assuming all those people who refuse to wear a mask to the grocery store are also among those who are paranoid about this app invading their privacy. Without the majority of my neighbors using it, all I get from it is a somewhat annoying daily reminder to check my symptoms. Unless some new symptom is discovered, I don’t need an app asking me every single day if I have a cough or loss of taste. Pretty sure I’ll notice that on my own. I’ll still keep the app for the slight chance I come in contact with someone else who has the app and tests positive.

Thank you Healthy Together

I’ve been using heathy together w my family for the last few weeks, it is well designed and works great. IMO automated contact tracing is the most accurate way to track the spread of Covid (as opposed to the Google / Apple solution that is less comprehensive). I’m proud of Utah for being early adopters and leading by example ❤️.
