  • Utter garbage

    If you want to be locked out of your apartment for several minutes multiple times per week waiting for this garbage to load, then this app is for you. The epitome of fixing a problem that did not exist.

  • I wish I knew that this existed

    I don’t know why there has not been a separate post informing the residents of this app. It may have been buried in the Smart Rent information, but no one I know made it that far! I was trapped in the stairwell when I didn’t have to be. Please send out a community wide email so that tenants don’t have rig the doors so that they can get back into the building which unfortunately allows people who do not belong here access. If you belong here, a resident will be able to open a specific door to allow children, girlfriends, friends etc. a way to get in.
    As a resident, I’m here to tell you that other residents are clueless about this extraordinary feature. I wasn’t feeling the Smart Rent installation, but now I am understanding just how deeply it changed the experience of living here.

  • The jury is still out!

    The app seems to work fine as the front south gate…the one that I use more frequently than the others, responds perfectly. The only Caveat is the fact that my iPhone has a driver observer app from my auto insurance company that watches the way I drive including if I even so much as touch my iPhone while my cars engine is running. When I enter the property, and access the app to open the gate, this is interpreted as me using the iPhone while driving the car..thus resulting in points that affect my future car insurance rates. I do hope that ORION took this into consideration before installing this system…

This works via Bluetooth and can be used in the car for a touchless experience!   • Doesn’t work. Glitchy. Slow.

    Doesn’t work half the time. It’s slow. Not user friendly. App Design looks like a novice made it.
  • Unsafe

    This new app is unsafe rather just having a remote and pushing it. We have to pick up our phones and look for the app and text it open. It goes against texting and driving there’s also a delay and looking for the correct open and also better in it at times. Very disappointed

With passcodes enabled on your smartphone, it is one of the safest ways to interact with the community to ensure only you can open the smartphone. If your phone gets lost or stolen, you can lock out your iPhone or have your property manager revoke the app license so no suspicious activity can occur. We also have integrated with Siri that allows you to open your entrances with voice commands!   • Useless and disfunctioning

    Never works properly. Needs some serious upgrade

    A simple concept that should work easily. Unfortunately the app logs you out randomly and what feels like the most inopportune times. It also doesn’t always send the signals properly and you have to try several times.
  • Update needed

    I set a code on Wednesday for my repairman to get in and out of the gate. I set the continuos entry, I set the dates from Thursday till the 30th of this month at it only works day to day. If had to request a new code everyday and my phone number has not been updated.

    Still having to request a new code daily to allow my contractor to enter the gate.
