  • Glitchy crap

    I bought this ac because of the app connection. I could adjust the temp for my pets when I’m not home. This app worked for a little while, and then suddenly said I was no longer connected to the Wi-Fi. Even though it was working for the last week. I’ve tried resetting the app, my internet, creating new appliance setting. But reading the experience from others, apparently it’s a thing. Don’t super recommend if you want for the app.

  • App now connects to a/c unit

    Unplugged device and it finally connected it did take two tries however now it’s connected.
  • Power Consumption Chart non-functional

    HiSense 8000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, the power consumption chart always shows zero, flat line, like it's not even actually implemented. Also, the app won't connect to the A/C unit approx 20% of the time. Have to power cycle the A/C unit. My wifi router still shows the a/c to have a wireless session, it just won't respond to the app until power-cycling the a/c.
  • Trash - Don’t bother

    Ostensibly this app is supposed to enable me to connect my portable air conditioner to home automation systems like Google, Alexa etc. but it doesn’t work. I cannot get a list of network SSIDs nor can I manually enter one because the only option I have is a pick list that never populates.

    EDIT- However I was able to use the version of this app for the OTHER popular OS and from there I can now control the air conditioner I have from iOS. What a truly terrible application… treats iOS users like second class citizens.

  • Doesn’t Work

    This app is so bad, there are so many things wrong with it I can’t even list them all. It doesn’t work to connect to my air conditioner, is generally buggy, the English is awkwardly translated, and it just feels like it was made by a middle schooler making their first app. Very disappointing for an otherwise awesome air conditioner.
  • Hot garbage

    Will not pair to their air conditioner, errors out every time with poorly written half English message.
    I have paired and installed multiple dozens of smart devices, from other air conditioners (GE), all manner of name brand and no name smart bulbs and switches, multiple thermostats, and this is the first app/device that just flat out will not pair.
  • Won’t Connect

    It says I’m not connected to the internet when I am connected to the internet. I would sayConnectLife is unconnected. One of the reasons I bought this ac was so that I could use my phone to control the temperature of I’m away from home. It’s so frustrating.

    Update! After working with Karla and others at Hisense, it was discovered that my internet service (Suddenlink) was the problem. Once I connected to my iPhone, I was able to connect the ac. I am now very pleased with the ac and the ability to control it with my phone.

  • How do I turn on Wi-Fi

    On my window air conditioner I tried to connect it to the app put when I click connect it does not do anything or even when I try to turn it off from clicking it still does not respond I have to use my ac remote and in my house there are a lot of kids so there is a big chance of it getting missing. Can you please help me figure out why

    App is pretty terrible. It’s slow to respond to taps and the registration process is painful. You have to give it access to your location as well. Not sure why they need that. I was able to get the A/C unit to go into the Wi-Fi setup mode and connect to its Wi-Fi, but the app would never detect that I had in fact connected to the A/C unit. Every time I would click settings it looped me back to the apps own settings page - not the phones main Wi-Fi section. Anyway, after two days and about 45 minutes I gave up. Don’t waste your time on the app.

    A/C work is well. 8/10. Wish it rattled a little less, and was more of a constant hum/rushing sound.

  • Works well

    Only used it for a day but seems to work well. I’m using this app with a Hisense air conditioner. I can remotely control all of the features.
