  • Worst phone app ever

    If i still had the box i would return this ac unit. The app is difficult to use on apple phones. I will not purchase a product from this company for at least 5 years due to the app
  • Can’t connect to Wi-Fi

    This app doesn’t work. I’m able to connect to the ac Wi-Fi with my phone but there is no way to connect it to my Wi-Fi network. This thing needs to be fixed. Right now it’s completely useless.
  • Stopped working

    We bought the AC because we could control it with the app, but now it seems to have stopped working. It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the recent update(I updated, my gf didn’t, but neither works), but I don’t know what else it could be.
  • Power consumption chart and reading not working

    One main reason I purchased this unit was because of the smart feature and being able to monitor the power consumption. Every thing but the power monitoring consumption monitor works decent. The power monitor may work one week and won’t work again. The power monitor is what I use most. I thought I had something that would help me keep up on the kWh but I guess I was wrong. Personally I would not purchased this a/c if I knew this features didn’t work. If your looking for an a/c with a smart app I suggest GE with smart app. I have one of those also and it works perfect and with no issues of reading power consumption.

  • Could be better

    App is good but wish it had a energy usage feature like the app for my GE window ac.
  • Works great

    Works great for my Hisense window unit, I can control it from anywhere and monitor temperature and controls.
  • Garbage! Collects personal data and then doesn’t function!

    App will not connect to either of the 2 identical window A/C units I recently purchased. But it required collection of all my data and registration. JUNK! This is a MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION and all they do is create a series of garbage apps every couple years and never fix them. They know the problems. They just want your data. Why do they need my location data for the app to function? That’s insane! Why no HomeKit? My experience is identical to another reviewer “jonk ponk” from June 18th 2021: “Followed the setup directions exactly.. connected to the HIS-xx network, went back into this app and nothing. The next button is still greyed out. Tapping it gives a "Please correctly connect to the appliance WiFi" error. But... I am. Why don't YOU correctly connect?”

  • Network capability is really bad

    If your ssid does both 2.4 and 5 and so does your phone you are in trouble as ten app will never connect to it thinking it only does 5. Vey bad design as I have no way to correct this.
  • I do not recommend

    Just bought a very expensive Wi-Fi A/C, I called Hisense, ask why won’t it connect to my iPhone? Oh, because the app stop working correctly on devices running iOS 14.1 or above. I was like really? They screwed holes in my windows and this is now permanently installed and it works off of pre Covid tech???? Really?
  • Worked for a Week

    App is great when it worked. After one week (probably only used once or twice in that week) it stopped working properly. The app would state “Command Successful”, yet the AC unit would not respond. Attempted to un-pair the appliance in the app to re-pair it and now the screen is just grey.
