Very good integration!
I love this app so far! I am working on the trial version. I’m disappointed in the cost however… I understand developers wanting to do subscriptions but this should have a paid for lifetime option. I’d be willing to pay up to $50 for this app for lifetime but not a continuous subscription. Would recommend strongly looking at this app and would definitely buy a lifetime version if offeredShow lesswilsonsuccess!
Very Very Very nice Pomodoro
I have tried many pomodoro apps, both on mobile and on the desktop. None of them really stuck. They were clunky, or had an annoying ad-supported model, or worse, disabled core features unless you pay a lot.
Session has EXTREMELY nice UI, a great onboarding tutorial to get started, nice analytics, and just a great timer (you'd be surprised how many pomodoro apps fail on the core timing feature)
I'm trialing the paid features, which are nice. But by no means do you need to pay to get a lot of value out of this app.
My favorite feature is "keep screen turned on". A close second are the mutable background sounds (ticking during focus time, ocean waves and nature sounds during the break)
To the devs: keep up the good work, and ignore the dumb comments hating on you for keeping some features in the paid version.Show lessjulienchien
just about perfect
I use Stream Deck for ease of access and automation. Stream deck is pieace of hardware with a bunch of ptogrammable buttons that have a tiny LCD behind them. Ive been looking for a app that could be programmed to start/stop with one of these buttons and Session delivers! There are others but they look like the early windows 98 concoctions. Sessions' sleak design, full suit of reporting featurs and the ability to use shortcuts(and URLs) to program desired behavior make this the top timer/pomodoro app in the store. I just signed by for the pro and foresee myself supporting this for a very long time.Show lessSubemotion
BEST OF THE CATAGORY
I have tried a LOT of these and listened to many peoples opinions and reccommendations. This App not only has the most clean/good looking UI But also a developer who seems to be constantly updating & adding new features to the app & gets back to your questions and suggestions very promptly. Dont bother with the rest!

This app was good when it came out, but the developer keeps making it better and is very responsive to any small bugs (no matter how small!) and keeps improving it. Ridiculously good for deep work
Session is beautiful, it’s super simple to use, it runs extremely smoothly, it’s got details and features I didn’t realize I needed but now I wouldn’t want to live without. I was an Applied Behavior Analysis major (that also has ADHD) and I am truly impressed with the built in cues that quickly condition you to focus on demand. A breathe in and out animation (just a few seconds when starting a session) and lovely choices for ambient background noise. Use the same non-distracting soundscape to start your work every day and you’ll start to settle in and focus earlier and easier. The design and features seem extremely well thought out /and/ well executed. I’m obsessed with Session, it is so much more than a pomodoro app (I have been trying Pomodoro apps for many years and none have ever really worked for me. This one is on another level and it works great! Finally I have accurate tracking for my total work hours and built in notes/reflection/intention/activity tracking.) LOVE IT.Show lessDevi thing

Best pomodoro app out there for syncing between Mac and iOS. I look forward to a WatchOS app with compliltions but this does just what I need with great widgets for the phone. I love the Apple Shortcut and AppleScript integration. I have been looking for an app like this for 8 years and have gone through dozens of pomodoro apps and this is absoultly the best one I think out there. The session colors for the categories is so helpful and I use with the app Streaks to color cordinate the esential things I do. I was able to make many macros to enhanse this app with Keyboard Maestro.Show lesscoryata
Needed this.
I have a history of not keeping up with time-tracking. Session's not a time-tracker per se— it's not about producing timesheets or linking to invoices— but the combination of features it offers (customisable Pomodoro sessions, iOS widgets, Shortcuts integration, filterable lists of previous tasks, calendar integration, stats and visualisation) are perfectly balanced and exactly what I need to stay focused and manage my time appropriately.
Too many pomodoro and time-tracking apps ignore the fact that you probably already have a task/project management system elsewhere. Session doesn't suffer from that kind of silo mentality, and is flexible enough to use as a standalone timer or (with a little Shortcuts/Siri know how) to complement an existing system.

It's as if developer had read my mind. I wanted an app that would allow me to keep a journal of my productivity as I have really serious problems focusing (ADHD?). This app lets me rate the session with an emoji and write a journal. In fact, I write my objective for the session at the start and a journal entry of how it all went at the end. The icing on the cake is that I can track things through the daily and weekly reporting system.

The best Pomodoro app I've come across so far
I've downloaded numerous organisation, anti-procrastination apps over the years and never manage to stick to them, either because of an awkward interface, too complicated, or can't integrate it into my workflow. I often find that I go off-trail with tasks and end up getting sucked into something completely tangential to what I was supposed to do. I like how this app continuously prompts you when you take a break that is too long, and especially how it allows you to write down comments and rate how a session has gone. This kind of information is invaluable to getting over these bad habits of working, and allows you to see the progress.
One feature that I would love to see is syncing with Todoist. It would be handy to have these integrated so one could choose a task rather than type it in each time.Show lessbshfrd
