  • Straightforward

    Does what you need it to; simple enough to use. Perks scheme is good. App could be improved by the ability to look at trains *around* a certain date rather than on an exact date - some travel search engines allow this, so you can find the cheapest fare roughly when you want to go and fix your dates accordingly. e.g +/- 3 days of the date you put in. That would be helpful for many customers. At the moment you have to do multiple searches to get that info. Aside from this, a fairly good app.

  • Very good app. Contact page needs improvement though

    Personally, the app is quite easy to use and I find that it’s quite easy to log in even without Face ID.

    The bookings page is easy to follow so I can see all my trips by the day so that’s great

    However, I do think the contact page needs a bit of improvement. It was very difficult to find someone to speak to on the app and, ultimately I had to use the desktop page to find the contact page to speak to someone.

  • Please add Online collection Function on Website and App.

    Please add Online collection Function on Website and App.
    With just the code + credit card details. Generate a QR code and ticket. Either instantly download or send to my E-Mail.

    It is my 1st Time in UK. It is so unusual to print out the ticket while already having the collection code on phone.

    I bought it from 3rd party App at cheap price.

    Please really add this function. Normal People do NOT know, that they need to print it out. Normally on App is all done.

    Even Flixbus has this function. Just the code + credit card details please.

  • Not working properly

    Some features work fine, such as booking and using e-tickets. But the Perks programme doesn’t seem to be working.

    None of the perks rewards earned are getting credited - they just sit pending, even on journeys completed a month ago. Completed journeys are sitting in the Upcoming list, not moving to the Past list, so maybe this is the issue.

    I only downloaded the app for the perks so if this isn’t fixed, it’s going to end up deleted :-/

  • Seat reservation change keeps crashing

    Every time I book and try to use the ‘change seat reservation’ feature, the app get stuck and the only way to fix it is to close the app. This loses my reservation but blocks the seat and ticket that had been reserved for me, hence if I then try to do a new booking, sometimes it no longer shows that seat or ticket price as available. This is very frustrating as I often want to change the seat which has been automatically allocated.

  • Would be great if it didn’t keep crashing

    Tried several times yesterday and again today and the app keeps crashing when looking at seat plan to choose my seats. Sometimes ok, but most the time not and I’ve still not managed to book my journey. Most frustrating thing is it can only be fixed by closing the app down but then the tickets I wanted get held for however long (couple of hours I think) until they are automatically released but I can’t get to them as there is no basket to view them so have to wait (as they are advance tickets and prices are now higher whilst it holds the lower priced tickets somewhere for me whilst I can’t access them!) then try again only to have the same issue. I’ve given up. Now have to wait another couple of hours then go on to the website. Such a shame as could have been a good app :(

  • Horrendous Experience

    I have used this app multiple times now. It ignores seat preferences and reserves seats in the wrong direction that makes me sick. If you select your seats to fix the inappropriate reservations then totally unclear buttons mean you have a 2 out of 3 likelihood of losing your ticket, so you have to start again and then never guess what, when you come to pay you suddenly find you have booked two sets of tickets for the same journey and now have to try to cancel it again in a totally unfathomable experience that means your best choice is to cancel the whole booking and start again. Most unfriendly app I have ever used if you want to get a seat for your needs.

  • Dodgy

    Free wifi requires ALL your personal details. Constantly trying to get you to use an equally dodgy company called seatfrog which “auctions” upgrades - at up to quadruple the original price. Checks tickets on train again directly after Kings Cross where u cant board without scanning your ticket anyway. Slimy. Horrible.

    Further proof of said sliminess and dodginess in the misleading, deceptive and sarcastic developer response to this review.

    Hi there, Yes people have to register for free WiFi, this is standard practise. Yes we check if people have tickets, because they could have moved from one arrival train to a departure train. Yes we sell cheap standard tickets, and yes first class costs more, sometimes much more because of great standard deals. None of this is really shocking news, and we don’t think we’re dodgy or slimy ☺️

    This is a very helpful and easy way to make and manage your train bookings- all the information you need is right there.

  • Won’t work on my phone 😕

    The previous app worked fine on my phone but I can’t get this one to work. I’ve downloaded it deleted it switched my phone on and off and all of the above several times. I just get a red screen and then it crashes. I have loads of space on my iPhone so how can I fix this?
    Update: the recent update fixed my problem and I now am very happy with the app - at last 🙂
