  • Wires

I’m ordering these wires because the ones that came with my Lexie B2 were too short..Because they were too short the left one had a short from them them coming out my ear and me putting them back in several times a times a day…This actually should be a warranty claim as I had no choice of which wires came with my hearing aids.

Update 8/21: Getting better! Now your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to fix the app so that we never have to “forget device” on Bluetooth when we turn our aids on. I turn mine off for a number of reasons during the day and before I turn them back on I have to make Bluetooth forget them. Like any other Bluetooth device, I should simply be able turn my devices on and go straight to the app. That fix would be worth another star😬.

I don’t know why reviewers are saying that your app is getting better when, in fact, the latest revision is worse than the last (and that one was bad). With my B2s, I at least had a workaround to get them to pair with my phone. That workaround is iffy with the new revision; additionally, the first time I tried it after updating, it wouldn’t show the battery level for the right hearing aid. The very first time. And that problem persists. Do you really debug your software before sending it out? Evidence suggests otherwise. It’s too bad that a decent product like the B2s have to be “paired” (pun intended when they finally DO pair) with a crap app. When it comes time to get a new pair of hearing aids, I won’t be getting Lexies again unless the app is considerably better than it is now. Come on, kids, you can do better.

  • App

While I like my Lexie hearing aids, I would like them a great deal more if the app worked, but the app is almost worthless. It will not connect 90% of the time. So frustrating. I can never change the settings because of this. And if you don’t have your case with you to restart them, then you’re totally out of luck. Even with the case, they frequently still won’t connect. Lexie needs to drastically improve the connectivity between the aids and the app because otherwise, once you manage to get a setting, you might be stuck with it forever.

  • Needs a widget!

Control via the app is fundamental and needs to be easy access. Solution? …. LOCK SCREEN WIDGET! So c’mon guys, that’s not hard to do. (I managed a work around with a third party launcher, but Dev should add I’d get functionality) In other news, it seeems all the Bluetooth issues people complain about have been solved: after 2 weeks of use, I see no problem. BUG REPORT: 3 times now for no reason the app has “self-adjusted” volume down to 10% - no reason for that to happen, that level is not one of my saved environments. Final thoughts: adjustments can’t be made by frequency, just a crude treble/bass, so this may end up as a deal-breaker for me. Of course, what can you expect when you can’t even enter an AUDIOGRAM. Heck, even a $300 pair of iPods allow for that. Sheesh!

  • Much better!

I have had a huge improvement in reliability of the Bluetooth connection to the app since the June ‘23 update. I always thought the hearing aids themselves were quite good, but was very frustrated that I couldn’t make adjustments ‘on the fly.’ Much, much better, now!

  • App needs help

I really like the hearing aids - fantastic improvement over my 6 year old Signia pair. That said: the app consistently has connectivity issues. I know they are connected to my iPhone (via Accessibility sub menu). Not sure why the app struggles, but to the point of other reviewers, it would be nice to use the app to navigate between environments. I see the app was updated several days ago, but I haven’t seen any improvements. Looking forward to having it repaired sooner than later. It really hinders the user experience for a great pair of hearing aids.

  • A mediocre app that should be much better

Lexie B1s here. Also own the older Lexie Lumens. The older Lumen app has features that really belong on Bose app - basic things like the battery meter that show remaining power for each instrument. Also finer volume tuning. The older Lumen app allows you to tune volume for each instrument instead of a corner- cutting wheel.

Lexie scambled to finish the app for the Bose launch. That was months ago. Mayne they can find a minute to refine an app that goes with their upgraded hearing aids.

  • App is buggy

Great hearing aids. I was presented with a decision to buy $4500 hearing aids or $1000 hearing. Totally satisfied with my purchase and the 5 star customer support. However, I can not say the same for the app. The app is buggy to say the least. Biggest problem I am having with the app is its telling me to connect my aids to the phone regardless of the fact I have already connected them.

Another issues is sometimes it doesn’t recognize the are on and I never get the screen to adjust volume or settings.

Suggestion. Improve the app along with all the great things you’re doing and you’re going to do well.

  • Internet Access required

Lexie B2 (Bose): We were at the Segerstrom theater (seats 3,000) for a musical performance. The acoustics can be challenging for the average person. Those of us requiring hearing aids have compounded issues. Internet services in the theater are impossible to access. I opened the app and it got stuck on a white screen. I restarted the hearing aids and my iPhone. Nothing. I never got to the “Environments” in order to select my custom settings. I ended up fiddling with the manual adjustments on the hearing aid, but never got the balance I needed.

Now I know if there’s no internet access, like airplanes, I’ll need to wear my more expensive hearing aids.

I finally got an error message:
    Failed to register
The app is unable to connect to the server.
Please ensure that you have a working internet connection.
