If I could give 0 stars I would

This app markets itself as being a management tool for ADHD…so far all I’ve managed to find are condescending “lessons” for me to learn about a condition I’ve had for nearly 40 years!🙄🤣 all I wanted was an efficient calendar and to do list and time management tools all in one app cos no one seems to have come up with that despite telling us “they’re thinking of people who struggle with ADHD” in the design and purpose of this app!🤣 oh and then there are lots of “don’t worry we’ll remind you before we charge you if you forget to cancel your subscription”…then a yearly charge on your card when you think it’s cancelled as they have different sections that you have to navigate your way to in order to do this rather than appearing in Apple subscriptions even if you’ve downloaded the app and paid by Apple Pay!!! When I requested a refund rather than just issuing it I now have had 3 emails and been sent a form to fill in…is your company really tailoring its services to people with ADHD or just targeting them as easy cash?!😡

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that our lessons were not applicable to you. We will pass along your suggestion regarding a calendar and to-do list. We are also sorry to hear that you did not receive your email reminders before your free trial expired. Our refund policy is meant to support ADHDers who may forget to cancel their trials. We do not ever want to take money from ADHDers who are not satisfied with the app. It sounds like our support team is assisting you with the refund, but please do let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist! hello@getinflow.io

Worth every dime!

Before Inflow, I have never paid for an app since the creation of the iPhone because I felt like it was a waste of money. I downloaded the app and got the free trail to see if this app was actually helpful or just another one of those apps marketed to adhd people but is a total waste of time. Oh my goodness!! I was so wrong! This app is literally changing my entire lifestyle and mentality. Usually I never actually commit to anything and actually complete the task because I lose interest very fast and get distracted easily. With this app, I was on it every chance I got to not only learn about my brain, but literally the gives explicit very simple and short lessons with steps and tips to actually change your life. Personally, I made it even simpler by using Ai to create the lifestyle suggestions the app teaches you to make it even more simplistic for me so I did not have to use any brain power. This app is revolutionary!

Yeah… no…

It’s hard to justify the cost of the subscription when the core of the content is just the same info and tools that you can learn online for free or from any mental health councillor if you see one. Everyone, who’s been trying to address procrastination, messy home, disorganisation and overwhelm, heard about pomodoro technique or SMART goals and chances are, they don’t really work, otherwise there would be no need for yet another app peddling the same tired techniques. No need to pay over 180 quid a year to get the same content. There’s some social aspect to the app but I haven’t explored that other than some daily questions. What this app does is to give you some info and some quizzes about it but if you’re really looking for a good tool to help stay organised and on top of things then I suggest Strides - it’s free, you can trial it for free, you can subscribe for extra templates but what it does, it actually helps you manage your daily life. At least the cancellation process has been fixed and I wasn’t charged after I cancelled the trial.

Unhelpful

The app hasn’t told me anything I don’t already know under the Burnout module, what I need are the tools to put those things in place. How am I supposed to choose what things can be sacrificed in my life if I don’t have anyone I can delegate tasks to or ask for help? How do I abandon my vulnerable elderly mother with dementia to make “me time”?
It’s unrealistic advice because it assumes that it’s all our own fault and the things we take on can be set aside, but that’s not always the case and there is no deviation in the advice to help you determine what things can be set aside and what the priorities are. I’m deeply disappointed because I’d really hoped this would be a turning point for me but I’m back at square one.

Finally…some answers

After a few diagnoses (that are valid) I was diagnosed with ADHD. Inflow has helped me to see myself as an adult with ADHD. Wow! I have learned so much and in small doses, too. I’m beginning to celebrate me. Thank you so very much!

I’m so shocked by how transformative it’s been

Despite the safeguards they have in place to avoid this very problem, I ended up purchasing a year-long subscription by accident. I’m so happy that I did. I was mostly interested in the ADHD and hormones module but had to complete 4 other modules before I had access to the rest. This kinda made me rush through the beginning because I wanted to see the rest of the library before the end of the trial period (though I had already failed so that ended up not mattering).
The task avoidance module is what really sold me on the app, I learned so many things that I’m actually implementing (E.g., chunking, RAIN). It’s already changing the way I think (aim for 80% completion not 100% perfection). I’m genuinely excited to do my lesson every day.
I took of a star for two—probably mutually exclusive—reasons: 1. Locking the library during the trial period is a turn off. I get it for people with little understanding of their ADHD, but there are certain things that I already knew this to wish I could’ve skipped. Though I think I picked the first 4. But I also understand why having all the modules available could be overwhelming (I’m experiencing this rn).
2. Even though I just said I didn’t like the prescribed module order, I wish there were like paths we could choose that would have a stack of modules to follow. Choosing what to focus on gets overwhelming.

No way to not receive notification.

I wanted to try the app since my AUDHD is way out in the burnout land. First of all the first thing they give us is a series of 4 module— overwhelming.
secondly you cannot not have the notification on for this app otherwise you just don’t have access to the module.

I do not want notification on my phone— and I do not want to be spam notification on my email.

Its too bad, I cannot even try it.

Could be a bit better

I have only been using it a couple of days and so far it seems to have good content. Just one criticisms, on apple devices, for past webinars you can’t see which ones you have played ves which ones you haven’t. And if you had to stop in the middle of one, the app does not save where you left off so you can return to the same point

Taking advantage of people with ADHD

After deleting this app they continued to take large amounts of money each month. I asked for refund as I had not had the app for over 6 months and it wasn’t showing up in subscriptions. They said they could only refund 28 days which is ridiculous and over $600 to nothing. I think it’s really yucky businesses would operate this way quietly stealing your money. I had no idea I was paying for this. It feels more like a way to scam people with adhd then help them.

Hello Sunsarajewellery, We are sorry to hear about this experience. Unfortunately, deleting the app does not cancel your subscription, but it is never our intent to charge users for a subscription they do not want. Please reach out to our support team at hello@getinflow.io and we will look into this for you.
