  • The most information I’ve seen.

I got the free trial for inflow. I’m originally from a Spanish speaking country, I always had access to tons of physiologists and doctors growing up. However, even though my parents had a hard time with me most times nobody was able to tell them why I had such a hard time with “small” things or habits they tried to teach me. I would forget to do things often that they just couldn’t understand how to the point they thought I was ignoring their requests on purpose. When I finally realized that it was adhd and I talked to a physiologists on my adulthood about my suspicions, they just asked me a few questions and that was it. I was officially diagnosed. However, I never got any tips or tricks on how to manage my struggles with procrastination and just in general. After the free trial I was able to learn so much more about why I can’t get things done. I really wish I could afford the year fee so that I could learn more.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Inflow. We are glad to hear that our app has helped you learn more about your ADHD and how to manage your struggles with procrastination. We understand that our yearly fee may not be accessible to everyone, and we hope to be able to provide more payment options in the future. • Loving myself with ADHD

This app is so incredible. It has touched my heart multiple times. It feels as if these people know me and genuinely want to help me. I needed some thing desperately to help shed some light on who I was with ADHD, after feeling so different from everyone and not understanding how to be compassionate towards myself I feel lighter, like I have more tools and the grounds to build my self-esteem back up ! It feels like a hug in an app and I want to continue using this the rest of my life.
Thank you so much in flow!

  • Design changes making this difficult to use

I’m not sure why the developers are changing the layout to be less user friendly but for a person with adhd it’s making it very frustrating to use. When I first joined it had a clean, smart layout that was not triggering or overwhelming. In the last few months they have made changes that look sloppy and quite frankly don’t make sense. The layout is overwhelming now. I would have said this app has been helpful but now it’s frustrating which is the last thing I need or am going to pay for. I won’t be using it anymore unless they fix their design. Dry disappointed as it’s been a good resource for me up to this point.

  • Not sure

I tried out the trial period. Since it is based on daily learning the trial isn’t long enough to know if this is something that would actually help you. Plus with having adhd I only got to day 3 so no real progress. The three lessons I did review were enlightening but didn’t really provide much action items to go forward with. I would continue to try this out on a limited offering if one was available but the app wants you to either pay $200 outright for the year or $50 month which is STEAP. You can market that it’s cheaper than a single session all you want but insurance covers that for most people and that attention is truely more one on one and devoted to diving deeper into your issues where this is surface level.

  • Game Changer

The Inflow app is a must have app for the ADHD brain. I’m a huge fan of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and inflow has created a platform to not only teach this specific for ADHD, but has also created a community of people I can relate to who struggle in a similar way that I do, who are learning tools and techniques to deal with the different way our brains are wired. It’s a community where I feel seen and accepted. I have a coach inside the app who checks in with me and helps hold me accountable. There are “co-working” sessions that I can log into and work along with other people who are trying to get work done. The information in the different modules are hugely helpful! I love applying what I learn in the app to my life and seeing how these tools and techniques really can make a difference in the efficiency of my life in general. If you struggle with ADHD, download this app NOW! And I’ll see you inside :):)

  • Subscription process needs to change.

I like your app. I am a mom to several grown children/teens who would greatly benefit from your app. Your process of automatically charging after the 7 day trial needs to change. You sending reminder emails isn’t adequate for your audience. You know and I know the vast majority of people with ADHD have issues with automatic subscriptions. Do the right thing, ask for money to continue after the trial period is over instead of automatically charging it. You guys are obviously talented. How hard is it to pop up a button after the trial is over to say “if you’d like to continue please pay to subscribe”? This would be far more equitable to your target audience. Great work and a great product, now add in understanding and compassion for the adhd community you are trying to reach and you will be rockstars!

  • Great ambition that just needs some polish

I love this app and it’s been a great stopgap while I go try and find a therapist. I’ll still probably continue when I’m in therapy just for the daily content and community. There are a few minor technical issues that could be fixed tho. The biggest one for me is a lack of audio controls when out of the app. I can’t pause or play the lessons unless I am directly in the app. This causes issues as I often listen to the lessons when on the bus, a seething where I don’t like to take out my phone unless needed. Thank you for the great work and I hope you get the success you deserve.

  • Life upgrade

I know many are very well educated on life with ADHD. I like to think I am getting there too 😄. I was diagnosed 2 years ago at age of 37. I’ve been using this app for about 6 months now (on and off, of course 🤪). It is actually very easy to pick back up again wherever you left off, even if it’s been a few days or weeks (or months).

Anyways, I have found the learning modules really valuable. I think you may too. While not every learning module lesson is directly applicable to me, many of them are. I find nuggets of wisdom that continue to improve my life each time I use it. Sometimes all I get is assurance that it’s ok to be kind and accepting to myself, and I need that too!

The app also has a cool feature where you can time chunk work/breaks with a live group of people. This has been helpful on days when I’m not motivated to do anything at all. You can interact if you want to. Sometimes just having a common goal with people nearby (or virtually in this case) is all I need to stay on task.

Finally, there’s also some community aspect where you can share your thoughts/struggles/tips for the day and people always respond with thoughtful or encouraging words. I love it!

They charge about $20 a month for access to all this stuff and I think it’s worth every penny. Have I made a good enough case for you to try it (or maybe try it again)?

  • Cannot sign up for no coaching in free trial

I was very interested in trying the app for seven days, read several reviews and then read through the paid subscription types available in the Apple Store list.
I got through most of the signup screens only to find that the free trial requires the coaching option. If I could do a free trial for only the “Understand your ADHD” and “Thrive with new tools and habits” portions without the “Coaching by ADHD Specialists”, I would be in, and probably convert to annual subscription for that. But I cannot see how to do that through the signup process for a free trial even after reading the lengthy Terms. So frustratingly, I am not moving forward.
I anticipate the app is great but I do not want a coach and have to interact with someone directly.
