I want my hat back
I’m always intrigued and interested to see how a show is presented. This was quite delightful. The small cast was terrific and I loved the bear and the naughty rabbit. The set (or Not Set), the stage space, was used so well with simple props and techniques. It really encourages the audience to be actively involved in the performance. Loved the kids comments. Sometimes the filming made the set look a bit dark or shadowy but only a small issue. I would have loved to be there with my younger grandkids..Show lessOzTezza

to see world class performances when it suits me. For the cost of a very reasonable monthly subscription I can access plays I could never have afforded to see at the time they had their run. As good as it can be right now
Nothing can replace the bewitching delight of live theatre. Sadly, the stage has been empty as the world tries to deal with the pandemic. At Home is simply as good as it can possibly be right now. Technically superb, it allows theatre to continue in one’s own home. I would add that I have watched plays At Home that I had previously seen at the National, but from a different, most intriguing angle. As an expat I miss miss a number of things from Blighty, theatre being one of the big things. I liked going to see NTLive at a local cinema, it was as if you were at the theatre itself. I couldn’t see how an app could compete. Then you watch a couple and realise that the performances and the writing and the production, not forgetting the care that goes into the recording of the play, are the real magic and whilst I would still go to the theatre if I possibly could, the NT app definitely fills a gap!
