Don’t bother, pointless junk. Zero stars.

The regular Barclays app for personal current, savings and credit accounts is really good, even the business current and savings on that app is just as good - So why is the business credit side of things just unusable junk?

I can see my business Barclaycard account in the regular app but it only updates balances once in a while. Buy something or pay off your bill but it won’t update so you’ve no idea if it’s gone through unless you look online.

As for this business app, can’t even log in. Go through the usual password/username set-up and reset then there’s just some sort of error and it shuts down.

It’s been deleted already. Most likely will look for a business credit card with a mobile app that actually works instead.

Rubbish card

I advise everyone to completely avoid this trash card. I’ve had endless problems with it. Never been able to login online due to a stupid system errors. Replaced the card 3 times so far for it to maybe work, but never did. The way the app shows the spending and the statement is extremely stupid, and lastly this card has zero security. If you do a contactless payment the merchant can easily save your card details and charges you multiple times after that. Now been claiming for transactions I never made which is taking ages, with useless customer service.

Disappointed by Bank's Lack of Customer Care

I have been a loyal customer of Barclays for over seven years, faithfully making all my payments and maintaining a good credit history. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with their lack of consideration for their customers' well-being.

After diligently reducing my debt to under $1000, I was shocked to discover that my credit card limit, which was previously set at $11,000, had been drastically reduced to almost the same amount. This sudden reduction felt like a blow, considering the progress I had made in managing my debt responsibly.

It is disheartening to see that Barclays prioritizes their bottom line above all else, without considering the loyalty and responsible financial behavior demonstrated by long-standing customers like myself. It seems that they are more interested in maximizing their own profits rather than genuinely supporting their customers' financial well-being.

While I understand that banks must assess risk and make adjustments accordingly, this drastic reduction without any clear explanation or consideration for my payment history feels unfair and arbitrary. It is disappointing to witness a bank that claims to value its customers neglect their commitment to providing fair treatment and support.

I hope that by sharing my experience, potential customers can be more aware of the practices employed by Barclays. I encourage individuals seeking a bank that truly prioritizes their customers' financial health and well-being to explore other alternatives that align more closely with these values.

Terrible

The Barclays personal banking platform is wonderful, my Barclaycard personal even integrated within my personal banking app as does my business account however this has a separate app that crashes every time I try and view a full list of transactions. There is no way to report issues. Also there are no payment option for setting up direct debits ms within the app for paying the card off. One of the worst apps I’ve had the unfortunately of using recently. Come on Barclays sort it out.

Puzzled at anyone giving this app more than 1*

I’m confused at users giving this app more than 1 star rating. They have either only ever used this financial app or they are oblivious to what makes a good financial app. This app lacks a lot of rudimentary features; doesn’t show the correct balance used; doesn’t show the remaining balance; you can’t pay the balance; shows only very limited transactions without the ability see within a specific time range. It’s astonishing that in 2023, a large bank such as Barclays has an app reminiscent of apps from early 2010s. The Product team responsible for this monstrosity should be ashamed of themselves.

Two business accounts

Why haven’t the techies thought this through? I have two separate business accounts but it appears I can only add one to the phone app. I can only have one of the app on my phone which auto logs in with Face ID . This means i can only access one account on my phone. Surely this can be solved easily by relating the app to the individual user with access in the same way that personal joint account access works.

Unable to log in

I’ve downloaded the app and followed all prompts. I continue to get error APSN and have been told my multiple representatives that this is a common error they cannot resolve. This is extremely inconvenient as the security associated with accessing the Barclays website is pretty intense. I appreciate prioritizing security but then your technology needs to work.

Disaster

After speaking to 7 different people over 3 days I have finally resolved the problem not satisfactory but to a fashion
Let me say in my experience Barclays , Barclaycard or whatever branch of the above names is a complete disaster, all I wanted to do was add my new card to my existing app
My dealings with Barclays in any form over the past 2 years has been nothing but a waste of time going through automated phone calls leading to nothing or talking to people who don't no how to resolve anything Barclays must be in serious trouble if not why aren't they with there useless systems and customer service

No balance shown

This app is rubbish my balance is always showing as £0.00 it has never yet in all the time I’ve used it shown any different I’ve even tried deleting and downloading again but still only ever shows £0.00 waste of time other than being able to see your pin if you forget it other than that no point to it at all.
I leave the app on my phone in the hope that the developers suddenly get the inspiration to put it right so that it shows a true balance of what is left to spend instead of having to keep going on either my desktop computer or my laptop. Come on please sort this useless app out!!!!

Payment options

This app should have payment options to pay off your credit card. As a Barclays customer I should be able to simply transfer money and pay off my credit card bill without any hassle.

The app needs more features just like Zable credit card app. One must be able to pay immediately, make minimum payment option, see your current balance and credit. The experience is not perfect and user friendly at all.
