  • Can I use it with Garmin or Huawei watch?

Please, can you tell me if I will be missing many features if I used it with a Garmin or Huawei watch? I know it's intended for Apple watch, but unfortunately I don't like much the Apple device.
    Thank you!
  • An Apple Watch Must Have

I was almost ready to give up on my Apple Watch and go to a Garmin until someone told me about, Athlytic. Athlytic has changed the way I use my watch daily. Furthermore, it helps me with my training. If I had any wish list items I would like to see on the application, it would be a stress indicator, similar to Garmin.

Thank you to the developers at Athlytic for keeping me on an Apple Watch!

  • Fantastic Data Driven Fitness Coach

Absolutely love the app, I was forever stumbling around the native health app trying to take meaning from the data the Apple Watch collected. This App does it all for you, I find it great how all the metrics it calculates from the data is explained so you can understand why it’s advising you of certain things.

One thing I’d love to see is for my swimming workouts I struggle to see how fast I’m swimming lap-lap. It’d be great to have an extra graph measuring lap times with your heart rate overlayed on it!

  • Simplifies your health data

The Apple Watch records a lot of data but it’s hard understand what it all means and how to apply it to your training. This app takes the data, simplifies it in an easy to read manner that helps with understanding how you should train. It’s also great that the app is frequently updated to cater for apples new health metrics. Highly recommend for anyone who uses the Apple Watch as a fitness tracker.

  • It’s good but needs work.

Coming from Garmin and even whoop the biggest issue is with the recovery as it continually updates throughout the day and that’s something it shouldn’t be as neither Garmin nor whoop does this and that’s because it’s not supposed to. You wake up and that’s your recovery for the day… the end. Too many people especially those newer and looking for a recovery tool will see the recovery go up and then the suggestion to do more work to stay in the target exertion zone and that’s poor management. Hopefully this gets addressed and the developers actually look at the quality tools out there like Garmin and Whoop with the metrics they provide and how they are used and calculated.

  • Best recovery app I’ve found for Apple!

I have tried a lot of apps across a number of platforms. In the end I have settled on Athlytic as my go-to for Recovery information. I am a runner and while recovery is important in regards to my training, I care more about this information for my general wellness and day to day life.

The sleep tagging is incredibly useful for identifying patterns in what positively or negatively impacts my sleep. The recovery and HRV information is a great indicator of when I may be getting sick, overtrained, or just experiencing general body fatigue.

No algorithm is perfect. Not metric tells the whole story. But continual information that you can personalize and track over time can help you understand yourself bit by bit. Athlytic has been the best app so far in achieving this for me.

  • Great app

Great app. I used to use garmin watch, switched to the AW ultra and was looking for an app that’s like in the garmin connect where i can track my recovery, stress and all that. This is app is like that and what i was looking for. However, like all apps, nothing is all perfect.

    1. The recovery tab/ section seems a bit off sometimes. Not sure how or why. I’m always wearing my watch except for those times i’m charging.
    2. I’m a night shift person, was hoping there is a configuration on sleep that can switch that. As of now, the app suggestion on sleep is always that for morning people. And thus, it keeps saying i have a sleep deficit even though i have slept 8-9 hours just because i sleep during day times.
    3. I hope that there is a separate tab for exertion and stress.

All in all, a great app for those who track their metrics. Hoping that any new updates could fix those above.

  • Love the app but would love one feature

I love this app and always look forward to the next update to see how this app continues to improve.

I would like to ask for one feature. Being able to go back with the history tab and go into a certain days exertion is incredibly. I would love to be able to look back with more detail on sleep data and energy. Those two factors from days ago can play an important part of how you feel today. I would love to look at how I slept maybe 5 days ago and my calorie deficit and how it impacted the overall week’s training.

Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this product.

  • On the right track and I like using it but needs some work

The app is great. Gives me all the info that I was fond of with the Whoop strap albeit in a less aesthetically pleasing way. Bottom line the numbers are there and that’s what matters. Especially for the price comparatively speaking. Pros - a ton of info divided and presented in an easy to understand way - cheap compared to whoop Cons - recovery numbers are ever changing for me. A lot of times I’ll get a recovery score and it changes as the day goes by. Typically earlier in the day. - HRV data taken after waking up via the app has been spotty. - exertion score is off by a lot at times - a lot of workouts pulled in via Strava don’t carry over metrics from the workout. It will show total distance and time but none of the other metrics. This throws off the exertion score.

  • Lots of great data…

The quest for 8 hours of sleep is annoying. I don’t think I’ve slept longer than 7 hours more than a couple of times in the last year, so adding sleep debt for an unattainable goal is just annoying. It would be great to be able to adjust our target time sleeping. As it is, it doesn’t seem to really take into account differences between people in this area.
