PadSplit is the only current solution for affordable housing for single adults. Being a California native, all the bad reviews are misleading. LA is obviously expensive. But PadSplit in ATL gives people an opportunity and access to live on their own. There is minimal communication between homeowners, which truthfully isn’t needed. All the rooms are furnished, full kitchens, full bathrooms, full utilities for one set price on the app. If there’s any issues, then the app is available 24/7 to make requests. It’s just like any other tech-housing app. For anyone opposing, I doubt they have anything better in mind. PadSplit is very solution-based and I highly recommend.D$AH

The nerves
They have great prices but it’s only for one adult. You can’t have a child 17 yrs or younger with you you can’t be a couple and also NO PETS ALLOWED AT ALL. That’s beyond me I can’t start to wrap my head around it 🤦🏾♀️cassiedb
UNACCEPTABLE
This is my first time using PadSplit. Never heard of the app before. I am out of town working and booked a room that was conveniently close to my job. I booked the room for Wednesday but I was not able to move in until Friday. When I moved in Friday (TWO DAYS LATER), there was a FAMILY OF FIVE (a couple and their 3 children) in my bedroom. I told them I booked the room and they moved their stuff downstairs.. When I finally moved my things into the room, I discovered FILTH all over the floors, door, and window panes. This had been a GHETTO experience. The worst part is that the door code provided to me to get into my bedroom DOES NOT WORK. So I’m locked out of the bedroom with all my things inside!!! I can’t shower, change clothes, or anything!! I called PadSplit support and all they could do was create maintenance request tickets. This is unacceptable and I will be calling police and/or using force to take the door down. I deserve a refund. This is RIDICULOUSNigguhTrey

The concept is nice but it’s not healthy for people mental health …reducing people to no visitor is not ethical never booked with them but this is app is more like a homeless shelter/jail than it feels home most apps allow visitorsBrea Queen
Total Catfish
PadSplit is just the middle man in a sense to the house owner I never met the owner of the property of which I stay (currently) and the environment is very unsafe I’ve wrote to them and no response they just take your money but don’t gaf about you as a human being or making the environment comfortable for you.. they catfished me with nice pictures of the room but when I moved in there were dead bugs in the sink, the coolest had burn marks at the top, paint flaking, the whole house has a strong stench and nobody has a thing about it. I don’t see this company lasting without making the necessary changes. They simply don’t care.me h0
