Para is Over
I received an email from Para Customer Service that said as of May 1 the app would no longer be available to driver’s. What a Bummer 😕 Here’s the email: Hello, Thank you for reaching out. After careful consideration, the Para app will be shutting down on May 1, 2024. This was not a decision we came to lightly. We evaluated our market value and realized that you can access many of our tools through various other apps. We felt we were no longer offering a unique experience to our users. We have decided to take Para in a new direction and into a space where we feel we can truly make an impact. *UPDATE* Well, it’s official folks. Para is no longer available. Per their own press release, the app has ended. I would rate 5 stars at start, 4 stars for only Uber Eats, and now. I just hope an alternative becomes available. If you are reading this & know of a working alternative, please put it in your review!
Let’s get this out of the way - only UberEats integration works for me on this app. Hopefully, they’ll get GrubHub working again soon. It’s probably a cat and mouse game working with platforms that would rather you don’t. That said, Para is free and still extremely helpful with the things it can do. So I may grumble to the devs sometimes, but I am thankful and believe they are doing their best. I try to be grateful for what it can do. Thank you.Show lesslunarvision
Needs fine tuning
This app would be MUCH better if the location filtering could function as a “draw” on map feature, not just a circle area. I want to be very specific in what areas i will/wont pickup from. The simple circle is not good enough.
Also, auto-accept! Ive missed many rides because i have to do the “app shuffle” to get to uber and accept a ride, which is not efficient. Auto decline works great but we need auto accept also.
Also, the notification should give me more data. Total payout, $/hr, $/m, minimum on the bubble notification. mystro gets that part right.
Also, auto-log off/on from other apps when a ride has been accepted on one app.
Would LOVE to be able to accept everything within para and then have Para calculate my total pay for the day/week across all apps including mileage.
Para is not fast enough when I hit accept Uber ride in para app, by the time it goes through, ive missed the ride. (Why we need auto~accept)
If possible: auto-decline ALL “uber trip radar” requests (they are 95% lowballs and I want nothing to do with them. Para should be able to do this.Show lessYeasupwhat
Disgruntled
I’m glad I waited to leave a review. Leaving a review based on a first impression is like marrying after the first date. Hang around some time and you’ll see true colors come out.
I wanted to like this app so badly. In the beginning it was good but it soured out toward the end and now I’m disgruntled.
The auto-decline feature is helpful and so may be the mileage tracking. My disgruntlement comes from the glitches in the app that causes me to miss good opportunities.
Mostly however, I’m am disappointed that Para didn’t have my back much after one of their partners blocked me from their ParaWorks Available gigs on a technicality. I actually completed the job and on time. The partner texted me at 6AM for an 11AM job, and then again at 8AM. It was my first job of the day and I only needed around a half hour for travel. I wasn’t getting up until a little before time to leave. I was canceled while completing the job for unresponsiveness to a partner who did not offer me the job, nor facilitate me accepting it. Yet they can block me.
When my real job comes back, this may be the first app I’m deleting. And I won’t be recommending it without first sharing my experience.Show lessCreate Nickname MC

Old: The auto-decline feature is a savior. Take to mind your market may not be as busy or filled with good pay/tip outs so you may see a decline meaning it’s time to move around to another area! Not Para’s fault! I have been asking for YEARS that’s these similar gig tool apps/gig apps have a feature like this! It’s crucial help. Now I can deliver food more confidently. I’ve been out the last month or so finding other sources of income. This will help me get back on the road! I’ll add a 5th star once I fully test this bad boy out. Support is terrible
I’ve been back and forth going on a month and a half now regarding a glitch with downloading documents to the “Para Pass” feature. I’ve provided all the necessary information to which I was told they could add it to my account if I still was experiencing issues. I’m still experiencing issues, I’ve described the problem in great depth, provided screenshots and have sent numerous emails yet nada! Problem is not fixed. It’s exasperating. It could be a real asset if given the opportunity to use the feature in order to gain the attention of other companies looking for drivers. At this point I’ve given up, which perhaps that was their desire because they can’t be bothered with resolving my issue. Great potential, but lacking in support
Firstly, this app is great in a lot of ways and I’m glad I initially downloaded it. I was able to connect with one of their partners, which led to a great new gig opportunity which I’m very grateful for. However, I’ve been trying to complete the “Para Pass” profile unsuccessfully for the past 2 weeks, which is incredibly frustrating. I’ve reached out to support several times and at first they were very responsive, but have since gone MIA. They fixed one of the glitches, which finally allowed me to upload a recent background check, but I’m still unable to upload my insurance information into my profile. I get only so far in that process then I have to back out of the page because there isn’t a way to move forward or complete that process. Then it shows that information hasn’t been uploaded to my file and I keep getting reminders that I have one more item to complete in my profile. It’s a never ending exasperating loop. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times. I also tried to do it on my computer, my husband’s phone and our IPad, but nothing works. Plus, no one from Para is responding to this issue I’m having, which makes it more frustrating. I’d love to complete the profile so I can connect with other Para Partners, but I’m unable to due to this problem. I would’ve easily given this app a 5 star rating had someone followed up with my issue until it was addressed instead of them ignoring me. :(Show lessGreat potential, but lacking in support

This app has been very helpful to get addresses for Uber. But recent updates have made it decline. Idk which update it was but the app used to let you refresh screen so you can see latest addresses. Now it won’t let you do that anymore. I constantly have to close the app and reopen it just to see the address that JUST came up. It’s annoying. Please bring the refresh feature back.
Also, some things that could make the app better. Let the address be copiable or at least click and open in a map app. It would also be very helpful if we could see customer notes. It would help immensely. Thank you.Show lessCandygirl88
Great!
Although DoorDash does not work anymore, i find the auto decline very useful for Grubhub and Uber to filter out all time wasting orders. Also the little bit of extra information they send for those platforms is useful at times. Ive recently tried taking a job through Para with ParaWorks and I have to say that this has huge potential. They imported my ratings from Uber, Doordash and Grubhub and I was instantly approved to start taking jobs. They are relatively easy to book and complete, and they pay well too! I will be taking these jobs whenever possible in my area. I look forward to seeing what Para brings next.Show lessgharris1976
