I’m going to be honest, i downloaded this app just cause of the giveaway stuff. I had no intent of using it, but after i messed around it for a bit and explored more i actually really enjoyed it. I think my favorite part is the fact i could read blogs on different topics like Eating Disorders and Anxiety! I will definitely be recommending this app to friends who are going through things to help show them that they’re not alone.

App From My Longtime Favorite Organization
TWOHLA has been my go-to charity for over 10, maybe 15 years. I have over 6 of their shirts (plus I know some have gotten lost or ruined!) and one year for my birthday, I did a fundraiser for them. When I was at my absolute darkest, in the midst of an ED, terrible depression and suicidal ideation/attempts and serious cutting, the little glimmer of hope I got from their message helped me hold on. Now I still have depression, but I haven’t been actively suicidal regularly in at least 5 years, same for cutting.

I stumbled upon this amazing app through Propeller. I’m so glad that I did. As someone who bottles things up and has to be the emotionally strong one for everybody that surrounds me. This app has allowed me to now have a place to vent when I need to. I also get so caught up in everyday life and because of this I haven’t kept up with my journal as often as I previously did. This app is perfect because it not only allows me to do it during my free time but it reminds me as well. It’s nice to be able to map out all of the mooods you are in the the previous week. It helps me keep record of how I let things control my life. It’s helped me get a good grasp on his long I’m in a mood. I highly recommend this to anyone who just needs some daily venting.

This app is fantastic. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am always encouraging my patients to journal. This app puts old school journaling into a modern world by allowing people to have their journal always in their pocket & quite literally in their fingertips. The ease of use of the app is great. This is a really awesome coping mechanism for those who may be suffering from a plethora of mental health disorders, especially depression and anxiety. I also appreciate the blogs/readings and podcasts that are embedded in the app. As we all work towards breaking the stigma associated with mental health/illness, having resources easily available that helps those in crises feel “not so alone” is vital. Thanks for this app, and I 100% will be recommending it to my patients.
