Adorable

I’m a big fan of this app, it makes tracking my exercise enjoyable and makes me want to go further every time. This is more of a wishlist item, but I think it would be fun to have some music. I like the idea of putting in my earbuds with the app in the background playing appropriately themed music based on where on the map (or story) I am. I hit a marker while jogging, and the music changes to something more dramatic as I have reached the mountain, etc. I’m not sure how difficult that would be, but I think it would be a neat feature, that with enough variety I would pay extra for.

Awesome Fantasy App

I have tried a few other “walking to Mordor” apps, but this is by far the best. The active animation that shows you how far you’ve come is amazing, and the notifications are actually worth getting throughout the day. The author obviously put a lot of thought and effort into this app, and any Lord of the Rings or fantasy fan who is trying to stay active would be doing themselves a disservice by not downloading app. As a LOTR fanatic, I adore everything about this app.

Love it!

It's a really pretty app with some great features. You have updates on where you are on the map as you walk, and there are trophies/milestones for special locations. Highly recommend the paid version so you can record more than a mile a day! I feel like it's totally worth it, and I like being able to support the person who created this app!

Fantastic and motivating app!

I absolutely love this app and it was well worth the $4 I spent on it! To be clear, I’m quite lazy a little of the time and definitely overweight and motivation to get off the couch has been my biggest obstacle in getting healthy. While I’m still not at the level of fitness I should be at, I’ve found myself exercising more and dropping a few pounds since I got this app a month ago. Just being able to go on and see how much I’ve walked today makes me want to go out and do just a little bit more each time. Whether it's just trying to get to my daily average so that it doesn’t go down, pushing harder to try and gain a little more ground on Mr. Underhill, or walking another mile or two to set a new daily record,I’m exercising a lot more just because of this app! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a big help! And by the way, it’s beautifully designed with detailed descriptions along the way! Five stars for sure!

Great app!

I’ve loved this app! The *only* issue I have is the speed mr underhill moves, even if you walk more than the average distance per day mr underhill doesn’t slow down, Hes *insanely* hard to keep any pace with, even if you lead a really active lifestyle, only chance you’re keeping up with him is if you’re getting an 8 mile run in every day ontop of your normal walking

Great app, but just one thing could be better

I found this app, and immediately loved the idea, and everything about it. The layout is perfect, I love how it compares me to Frodo, but I wish the cost to have unlimited miles was cheaper, or we were given more miles (maybe 1-2) if we hadn’t upgraded. I’d definitely buy it if it were $1-$2, and I’m still probably going to get it now, just $4 seems a little much for tracking distance, even when it’s this cool.

A fun way to keep moving!

I came across this app on Reddit and decided to give it a try. I soon upgraded to the premium version because it is so much fun! I’m pretty active, so while I wasn’t necessarily looking to increase my distance walked per day, it’s definitely keeping me accountable and I’m trying to make progress on my quest and catch up to Mr. Underhill! I’m really enjoying this fun way to keep me going.

Really simple concept but highly motivating

This app is practically useless without the premium update (around 3-4 dollars) but with the update, it tracks your daily walking and you can see yourself moving along the path to Mordor. The design is really scenic and it’s been motivating me to get out and run/walk so I’ve been really liking it so far!

Awesome idea!

I am really loving this app but I agree with others that there is just no way to keep up with Mr. Underhill. I would love to be able to enjoy the journey with him side by side or even be able to meet up with him at various points along the way. I know it would not be true to the storyline if he had to wait for days/weeks for my slow pace but it would still be fun. If the creator ever wants to expand on the experience - maybe be able to create yourself as a character???? But all in all - fun little app!

Excellent, and what an App should be!

I got this immediately after hearing about it on Reddit, and its incredible. Its so simple, and thats what makes it so great. A one time payment to really have access is great at just 4 bucks as well! Any subscription would have made me pass, but this is just great. I have absolutely no complaints
