Game Changing
Evlo applies physics to your workout, it’s beautiful. I love Shannon’s philosophy around fit body happy joints: it’s a very accurate representation of the classes she leads. All Evlo instructors go into the “why” behind each movement, if you’re interested in knowing about the exercise. They also have fabulous cues and reminders throughout classes to keep your body in the correct position, even though a virtual platform. The app is easy to navigate and I can play from any device which is great.

Workouts that work!
I’m 27 female dental hygienist in Missouri and can feel my joints starting to hurt from repetitive motions in my career. Doing popular HITT workouts never stuck or I got injured. Shannon’s program is safe and effective! At first, I was skeptic of how short and slow paced some of the workouts are BUT I’m always left sweating and muscles “cooked” by then end of her workouts. I’m able to consistent for the first time in years. Would recommend to anyone looking to get fit at any level and stay strong 💪🏼

Feedback about classes
I absolutely love Shannon’s trainings, she does things calmly and her commentary during each training makes it soo interesting to continue with the workout!!! I do feel like each exercise is effective based on some muscle soreness the next day, but what’s more important is that each training she holds, you are interested to do it right and you are able to follow it along to the T with how paced she does it. I am struggling with Payton’s exercises because I find that she is very fast with each set of exercises not allowing me to get situated in between sets before she is already starting her reps. In addition sometimes she talks about an alternative exercise, if we can’t do one but she doesn’t show it what it is. I am unfortunately a new member so I do not know each exercise by name and that’s very difficult to follow when names of exercises are thrown at you without an actual example. Payton needs to slow down and not breeze through each set, because some of us do want to enjoy these exercises and do them right and we can’t do them right if they are done so fast that you can’t even follow along. I hope this feedback is taken in consideration!

So refreshing!
I subscribed to Evlo last week and have done 3 classes so far. I worked out consistently for about 6 years until getting sick last summer. I took a long break but every time I tried getting back into the groove of a program I would feel drained, achey and way too sore. Most programs Ive done (which is at least 20-30) just made me feel depleted in the past. Evlo I can tell is so different. The exercises feel so much more targeted, efficient and meaningful. There are so many alternatives to a single exercise and they give them to you whenever possible. I feel peaceful and calm when working out now instead of feeling like someone threw me into a blender! The expertise of the instructors is very obvious.
I’m so excited I found this company/app!

Fantastic program. May take a (worthwhile) mindset shift
Shannon’s philosophy or approach to fitness is awesome — and based on science / physical therapy. Her approach is more holistic, mindful, and wellness oriented.
I love me an Orange Theory workout (before that it was spinning), but I’ve kind of always known that the intensity isn’t really great for most people / most bodies — and the intensity is quite frankly not necessary to get results
Enough about her philosophy / approach… Her program is SO WELL ORGANIZED and easy to use. She really hits all the notes … short workouts, long workouts, very short stability clips for your problem joints/muscles, barre/yoga, meditation. And it’s very easy to get a routine down … my routine is Monday lower body, Tuesday upper body, Thursday full body. I want to work in more, but haven’t had the time yet. When my hip is bothering me, I do one of her stability workouts (I’ve memorized them) or just a few of her usual glute exercises.
2 other things: so many good cues. And listen to her weekly podcast — it ties in so well to all the workouts and they just make you feel good.

Evlo has changed my life
The entire evlo method has changed my life with working out more consistently, having more self love and knowing that I am doing enough. I obviously love the variety of workouts and teachers but my favorite part is the neuromuscular connection they put so much emphasis on. The longer warm ups and cool downs are life changing. Thank you Shannon for starting this program! It’s almost been a year since I started and I’m so so thankful.

Loving these gentle workouts!
Switching to this style of workout was a big transition for me because I have always been focused on calorie burn, but my body stopped responding to that intensity in a positive way long ago. Very much enjoying these gentle workouts and seeing changes in my body composition without the huge physical strain on my body.

Excellent Strength Training Program
Evlo fitness offers SO many different videos designed to build muscle strength. Shannon records new videos each week and schedules them out so that you cover all major muscle groups during the week. Workouts are usually 30ish minutes long and feel challenging without irritating my neck/back/hips! I am a physical therapist and I love seeing how the workouts fatigue my muscles without putting strain elsewhere in my body, which happens with some other group fitness classes I’ve taken. And I love that the focus is on building strength to feel your best, not on diet culture or pushing through pain!

Beyond grateful and hopeful!
Where do I begin? I am so grateful for these workouts. For almost 2 years, I have been experiencing lower back pain and hip pain from disc issues. I have had injections and been to PT. However, I still have chronic pain and have been losing hope I would be able to workout again. After searching and searching for workouts that are back friendly, I found EVLO. These workouts have allowed me to workout without pain. I am so excited and hopeful for my future. Awesome variety of workouts!
