Couldn’t ask for a better app
This app is everything. I was skeptical because it seemed too good to be true, but as an incoming college student, I need as many scholarships and grants as I can get and this app proposes just that. I bought the premium version with the advisor and it was money well spent. She’s kind, accommodating and very knowledgeable about what it takes to get grants. I came to her asking if there was anyway I could get my financial aid package revised and she aided in helping me!! I was able to get an extra $2500 dollars added to my package !!!! The app also helps with writing essays for applications and giving you ideas for how to advocate for your self. The most Valuable thing I learned while having this is how to market myself and how yo ask for what I want. Mos is truly amazing and I would recommend anyone get it(even if you can’t get the premium, the basic is had all the same features minus the advisor)!Show lessWatz7$
Life changing!
I was a bit doubtful when I first started seeing the ad on my TikTok feed. Eventually, I figured what’s the worst that can happen? let me give it a shot. i’m so glad I did. You can apply for scholarships in the span of about 3 minutes and Mos helps you write an essay if it’s needed. it tells you when you have great odds with a scholarship & pairs you with amazing options. you also have the option to pay for an advisor which i also did. best decision ever. My advisor (Lydia) was beyond helpful & answered any questions I had no matter how small and did so in a timely & kind manner. I love Mos!
I have been using Mos Premium for just over a month and could not be more happy with my advisor and the results so far. I needed over $9.3k to cover my school expenses and so far, with my advisor's help, we have reduced my school expenses to $1275 per semester. I also have a $600 outside scholarship which reduces my first semester bill to $675. I have applied to nearly 100 scholarships in the past month and am hoping to reduce my tuition bill to $0 by the time the first bill is due in August. I am optimistic that soon I won’t have to pay anything for school. My advisor, Kay, is the absolute sweetest. She constantly communicated with me, researched, and wrote two appeal letters for me. I honestly could not have gotten here without her. Paying for Mos has been one of the greatest decisions I ever made. For every high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student trying to figure out how they will pay for school, please get Mos. It has been amazing having Kay’s help! Great app, but a bit confused
I was loving the app at first and how it made applying to scholarships easy and the fact it makes easier for you to write essays. However, I got an email back from one of the scholarship companies that I applied to using Mos and they rejected my application because they detected AI in my application. I wrote my own words and used Mos to pre-write the essay (because that’s an obvious feature that the app offers). I didn’t even know that would be a problem because if that was the case, I would’ve never used Mos in the first place. How can it be a feature the app itself offers, but it still won’t be allowed by some companies because of “AI” detection. Mos is using all the things I put in my profile and my own words in the draft essay to formulate the essay itself. What even is the point of that feature if it can get your essay rejected by companies?Show lessjoan320

So far it seemed good, but then something not cool happened. I was pushing a button for financial aid for a college, then all of a sudden it drafted this whole email that I didn’t even write, at all (which is a huge no-go, as these are good colleges, and I feel they could tell in the present or future that they aren’t from me). Anyways, not my main point, I skim through the email, and it mentions my parents struggling to afford our cost of living????!!! I never selected an option like that, because that’s not at all true. I also have a learning disability (ADHD), and in the email, it’s just says that “as a student with a disability, I may face unanticipated costs associated with life on campus,” they frame it like I have a PHYSICAL disability- which is a lie. I have many chronic illnesses, but it don’t have a physical disability recognized by the state, and I didn’t mention anything about any illnesses besides ADHD.
the finding scholarships part seems fine, seems legit, but I also haven’t gone into them too much because i’m class of 25, so they might be just as iffy.
proceed with caution, and MAKE SURE, to read over those autogenerated emails. of anything, please write your own emails and essays, you can use an example/base, but don’t have some app do it for you.Show lessvuxhhcbckhcj h

I just wish I knew about them earlier. Being the oldest and a first generation student is hard!! I’ve only had luck with grants due to my socioeconomic status. However, since transferring from community college to university my cost has risen and getting more aid from scholarships was something I honestly didn’t know how to do. I’ve applied to previous scholarships but didn’t get lucky or never heard back. I was honestly pretty lost to how to navigate through this, and MOS has helped me so much. I’ve recommended it to my siblings and hoping they get a better start then I did when K started college!

This app is so amazing. I usually would never download anything from an Instagram add, but I needed scholarships. This app makes it sooo much easier to apply. The essay help has saved me so much time, and the swiping left and right has helped me make my to-do lists so much faster. Even though I haven’t had this app for long, and I haven’t earned any scholarships yet, I love this app. I totally recommend it to anyone who needs scholarships. My only criticism so far is that it doesn’t have my major. My major is Biochemistry, and I have had to select “Science” as my major since biochemistry isn’t on the list.Show lessBella_UrMom:)

I was a bit skeptical at the beginning but I’m attending a very expensive college and needed the help so I signed up for the Mos subscription and was put into contact with an advisor Lydia. Im still a bit skeptical on if she’s a real person or just more advanced AI but she has been very helpful and aided me in scoring another scholarship from my school. So that included with previous scholarships paid for a year of my college. So far I haven’t received any other scholarships through Mos so that’s why it is 4 stars but if it truly works and I receive more funding I will be back with another review with a full 5 stars!
