App Needs work
Definitely not user friendly. No way to track travel funds in app. If you don’t make the reservation under your name it won’t register the reservation on your account. Flights should be shown by travel date not date you booked. Please update!!!
Not terrible
I see a ton of bad reviews and I just want to be the one to say people complain about literally anything and it’s really not that bad. While the app is a bit clunky compare to others I’ve used (JetBlue, Delta, Southwest), I was able to retrieve my boarding pass and add it to my Apple wallet which is all I really care about. That said, the “add to Apple wallet” option in the app doesn’t work, I receive an error. In order to get it to my wallet, I had to either trigger the email or SMS text, THEN use the Apple wallet option. I’ll also add I work in tech and consider myself a bit more patient and tech savvy, so maybe I’m just biased 😂 I don’t think all the 1 start reviews are warranted because the app functions pretty well.

Pointless
Only thing this is good for is making a reservation and editing a reservation. Going to your account/taping view my trip doesn’t show you anything. I was really hoping this would be like United’s app so I didn’t have to print a ticket or go to the check in counter. Save your phone space. Don’t bother downloading it.

Needs Work
I made an account, booked a flight, and I still can’t access my reservation under the “My Trips” section. Instead it just keeps asking me for my confirmation number and last name. There’s no direct access to boarding passes so you’ll have to find your flight receipt if you want any flight info whatsoever. Basically the app is no better than looking up your info in your browser - which is sad because the prices are great. Get it together.

Show my trips
“My account” doesn’t show my trip. Does it only show when you’ve taken the trip? What does work is the site offers change or update reservation. That’s the way to check your reservation and DON’T change it if you want to keep it.
No reservation info
Zero point in downloading the app when you can just book using your browser. The app doesn’t show any of your reservation information which is incredibly frustrating. An upcoming flight of mine changed and I only found out because of an email that went to my spam folder. They very much need to fix this.

Half-baked
Some simple things aren’t available:
- look up reservation (there is a my reservations tab but no way to find previously booked)
- no help or contact us section
- no ability to input known traveler or tsa precheck info
- create account page email confirmation sends you to full site, not back to mobile app
It wouldn’t take much to make it a decent app, it just isn’t there yet.

Basic and buggy
Downloaded the app, created an account, signed in and it still doesn’t show any ticket information/reservations.
Really it’s a glorified webpage, which is okay for now, but probably won’t be for long if more people start flying avelo.
