Expected more

The workouts are good/hard but it’s a bit repetitive to do the exact same workouts every week for 12 weeks. Wish at least every 2 weeks had new workouts to not get boring. Also the app is super glitchy/buggy. I get it being a new app but for $20+ a month, I would expect more. I’ll probably keep it a bit longer and then unsubscribe as I basically have the workouts memorized at this point. It also doesn’t correctly mark when you’ve completed a workout for the week or clear each week so it’s hard to keep track.

it was a little bit of a let down 🥲

i waited months for cara to come out with this app & program. i have nothing bad to say about the workout but this app is so poorly designed. i can’t listen to music on high volume while using the app, the app will glitch and shut off mid workout, and the app hardly ever loads if i’m not at home. i recently went on vacation and it was SO slow to load and sometimes never did. i cancelled my membership for now but hope they can really look into these issues.

Multiple days of the app not working

This is the second time since I purchased this app that it has been down for multiple days in a row, this most recent time without any response to emails from customer service. It’s really difficult when following a 6/7 day a week program to stay on track when the app is down for multiple days. No communication from customer service even acknowledging that there is an issue and that they are working on a resolution. Super disappointing and have never seen any issues like this when being apart of other apps that have just launched.

So many issues

I loved the workouts until the app stopped working all together. I couldn’t log in for 2 days. I was finally able to get back in but could not access “my program”. None of the workouts came up- just a blank screen. After spending an hour deleting and installing the app on my phone, contacting customer
service, to finally downloading the app on an iPad - nothing. There are too many glitches with the app. Even when it was working my workouts never saved correctly and the app would freeze in the middle of workouts. So frustrating and not worth it. Going back to Sweat.

Awful customer service

I’m changing my once 5 star review to 1. The app doesn’t work, there is zero customer service. They refuse to acknowledge the problems the app is having. I love Cara but this is so disappointing. Especially for 25$ a month. Do yourself a favor and just download the Sweat app. I’ve followed Cara for a long time and always admired her workouts! I’ve been doing the Burn app for 3 weeks now and it’s amazing! I have sore muscles I didn’t know excised, feel stronger & have lost inches already. I use to be an avid gym goer but as a SAHM of 2 I can’t get there anymore. I’ve tried tons of apps and the Burn app feels the most “gym” like to me in terms of workouts & results. The workouts are definitely tough & effective!

You don’t get what you pay for

I wanted to love this app because I like Cara. It’s not what I was hoping for or expected given the cost of the monthly subscription.

First, there aren’t recipes included in the app.

Second, you have the “option” to choose between the level of difficulty for the workouts but in reality, they’re all the same.

Lastly, there isn’t an option for alternative exercises if you aren’t able to complete that specific exercise. Some of the exercises are a bit much in my opinion and could use an alternative option.

For $24 a month, I’m disappointed in how little the app offers. I cancelled my subscription and going back to a better priced fitness subscription that offers much more.

IT DOESN’T WORK

I thought $25 a month was an insane amount for a workout app l. I have used the SWEAT app for years and it offers SO much for less price. I decided to try out this app and at day 3 IT LITERALLY STOPPED WORKING. I wrote on the FB page, contacted support and on the Instagram only to find that many other people were experiencing the same problem with no solution.$25 is not chunk change and It is WRONG to charge people for something you can’t deliver. I honestly feel scammed and am very disappointed. The fact it hasn’t been addressed directly in some aspect by Cara Loren or her team really makes me lose faith in her character. One big scam 😔 I do NOT recommend.

Disappointed

App has been inaccessible since yesterday 03/08. I have sent a message to the contact via the app, I have posted on the Facebook page AND comments on the Insta page and noticed everyone is having the same problem as me! The Burn App response is generic and the subscribers are being told to email for assistance! Why must we, the people paying, email YOU to notify you that your app is inaccessible?!!!!!!! As I write this, I have had to comment Cara’s personal Insta in the hopes that something is done about this, £24 later and you can’t be bothered to notify your subscribers that you are having technical difficulties?. Very poor service.

To add insult to injury, you have 3 intensity levels on your workouts… all of which do not differ from the other so I fail to see why this option is even there. If the plan is to add different levels of intensity then do not display the option for subscribers to select? There is a lot of money being spent on your app, I suggest you pull up your socks before you lose a lot of your subscribers!

Worked great… and then crashed

I purchased a single month membership to try out the app and I was very pleased for the first day!! I was so excited to go into my second workout even though I was sore from my first day, but then I opened the app and couldn’t even access any program data at all. When I tried clicking “Get Started” to attempt to restart the program and re-access the programs, the entire app crashed and closed out. This has happened multiple times despite logging out, deleting the app, restarting my iPhone, and even deleting lots of things in storage/other unused apps to make more space. I hope to continue using this app for my workouts. Please advise..
I am oddly disappointed at the moment, but I will try again tomorrow to see if it will be fixed.

Great workouts - bug fixes!

I absolutely love the workouts and I love the intensity of them! I actually like not getting a full preview of the workouts beforehand, but it would be nice to know what equipment is at least needed.
The main issue I’ve had since I downloaded the app is the app doesn’t properly load. I’ve done update, restart my phone, reset the app and once I log in the screen will show nothing. Its not incredibly consistent in how it runs.
But overall I love that Cara has finally shared her amazing workout routines and I’m really loving it so far!
