    Acima lures you in with 90 day financing and giving loans to people they know can’t afford them, they make their money on ignorance. They’re “technically” not doing anything wrong but to pay off your loan in 90 days you must pay double what they quote as your bill and no one mentions this, I hoped the monthly auto draft would have me paid off in the 90 days but it only withdraws the minimum payment and I was unable to adjust it. This is not a simple set it and forget it service and it’s on purpose to make money, their business practices and fine print are scummy and deceiving, they prey on those who are already vulnerable financially and I won’t be returning, save your money and buy it outright or put it on a credit card at least they only ask for money once a month with half the interest. Acima are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

  • Life saver

    When cash is tight at the moment or payday is coming later, companies like Acima are very worthwhile. Yes, the cost to own is high if you keep the lease full term, but you could be paying up to 799% with a tribal loan and not get enough money to cover your needs.
    I own a business where I put on 6,000-7,000 miles a month on my car and the paychecks are not consistently every week. The cars always break down at the wrong time and in different parts of the country, so getting back on the road quick is my top priority and Acima helps me do this.
    Just pay the loan off asap and you’re good.

  • Scam. Terrible servicer

    While purchasing a couch an Acima rep presented me the option to pay for couch using Acima leasing. A 90 day pay period where I would pay off cost of couch. What the Acima failed to inform me is that there is a 12% early purchase fee added to cost if you pay in less than 90 days. Also while making payments on purchase Acima taxes yours payments on top of the tax you already received for your purchase. Customer service is awful. I spoke to several reps and no one was able to help. Each just blaming the next department and no solution. I DO NOT suggest using Acima. It it is a headache and there are other ways to gain financial assistance. You end up paying a lot more than you originally were informed

    What an amazing way to get your merchandise and pay later. Whether you’re wanting that new Apple Watch are simply needing a new washer and dryer, you can always give acima a try. They are the best leasing company I’ve ever dealt with. The only thing I get upset about is that, I only get $1000 credit at a time. I have used them on three separate occasions, and paid them off every time. Actually all three were in the last six months. You would think after three times in six months they would up the money a little bit. But all in all I hope I can help someone out making the choice to switch to Acima. They are much nicer than my wife has ever been.

  • Horrible customer service

    I should have went with my gut when my husband signed up. We had the $ that day we purchased something. Anyway, they rush to sign you up, don’t explain much. The girl signing him up told him he didn’t have to read the contract just put next etc and sign. Then gives attitude when I take the time to read the fine print. They make it sound like every other week payments come out totally easy. Wrong! The 3m payments don’t equal the amount you will pay. They have it setup for a year so you pay double plus fees. Be smart and aware . Then when I tried paying online , it magically crashes before payment due. Trying to get the number to talk is a nightmare. Went down to the store, nobody has your info and can’t pay in store. You call, wait a long time, transfer 3x and get attitude because you pay early. Hoping that these people really gave us credit for paying off early. Ridiculous!!!

  • Terrible customer service

    If I could give a 0 star I would. I submitted an application days ago, but it required identification documents. So I emailed them in as asked. Nothing, no response. I chat with someone on the website, then they cancel my application and make me submit a new one. I submitted my documents AGAIN. Nothing. I go to chat with someone again, and they referred me to a department that was closed. I chat with someone just now, and they ended the chat on me saying I wasn’t responding when I was. No help, no one knows what they’re doing. I’ve called in but no one ever answers.

    If any of you need any help with support good luck, it’s a joke because if you do happen to get in touch with someone, they won’t know what to do.

  • Unprofessional!!!!!

    Just started using them for a recent lease, I had to call customer service which was a nightmare, they have to read from a script then some of them don’t understand English when it’s time for the customer to respond and then some of them are very argumentative with the customer I’m not pleased with this that’s unacceptable this will probably be my first and last time , they have a good concept to help people purchase items but it’s just poor customer service. Not to mention I was handed off to about three people when I called instead of making the customer feel comfortable and just say how can we make this better they sit there and go back and forth word for word and it just never ends . I work very hard for my income and people don’t want to be talked to any kind of way when they spending money at your business what you put out to the universe is going to come back faster than you think like these bad reviews that you are getting bad reviews and word of mouth is what’s going to ruin you.

  • Know how to use it

    If you don’t know how this credit work.. DO NOT USE IT!!!! Whatever you can afford to pay in 90 days should be you limit & also be aware of the dude date for the 90 day pay off. You will pay 3x the amount of you go over the 90 days. Example: if you lease out a bed of $800 and your minimum payments are $80 , that will automatically leave you at a contract of 1 yr or longer paying a lot. You can either pay $225 a month or save up and pay the full amount left the day before the due date. Simple and easy!

  • Bad customer service!

    they constantly take the payment out on the wrong payday I get paid every two weeks it started out OK and then I added another item to my financing and then they started taking it out instead of every two weeks on my payday every week for one and then the next week for the other which caused me to have overdraft fees at my bank because it was on a day that was not my payday and then acima also charges me $25 late fee because the bank returns it so I get hit twice this has happened three times now they refuse to fix it and say they can't do anything about the late charges that wasn't my fault to begin with! once these items are paid off I will never use this company or recommend it ever again!

    My experience with ACIMA was great and like you said people need to research and ask questions before signing on the dotted line . Just because they get instant credit doesn’t mean it’s free. Thank you for the service! SVCMC I will most likely use this service again.
