  • Horrible app

    I’ve downloaded, deleted, and redownloaded this app 4 times now. Each time I get to the check out page the “pay with Acima” prompt never shows. I’ve logged out and logged back in, been approved twice now for 2 different amounts, it won’t let me checkout and you can’t do it online of course because that would just be too easy. Horrible app. Doesn’t work!
  • Very upset and confused

    I recently was approved for up to $4,000 but didn’t realize the place was so far and I couldn’t order online. I decided to apply for a place that was closer and was denied for some unknown reason after just being approved the day prior! I contacted them and not only do they not care they told me I could only use up to $2500 at the original store now. This is such bull crap I just don’t know what else to say. I would definitely not try working with this company.
  • Great Service

    I guess people don’t know how to do their own research anymore and are just mindlessly applying for lease-to-owns nowadays. Reading these reviews has truly stunned me to my pearls, because y’all are mad that this is a lease to own program and you didn’t take the time to educate yourself on how this service works? Y’all are crazy, Acima, just like Progressive, Snap, and other LEASE-TO-OWN programs works amazing at facilitating your payments as well as giving you 90 days option to pay it off with no lease to own cost. Educate yourselves before bad mouthing on this company who provides a great flexible service for people. Shame on y’all for your ignorance, it’s not Acima’s fault that y’all didn’t read the fine print or ask more questions when applying and signing your lease to own agreement.

  • Highly NOT RECOMMENDED

    If I could I’d give NO STARS!!! They charged my account 2 days in advance because it was linked to my bank account so I requested 3 separate times to have it changed to my Debit card so the money came out on the actual scheduled date and each time given a very difficult time even after giving my consent over the phone 3x continued to charge my account and not my card then customer service was very hard to speak with and even nasty at times even after I spoke with a supervisor highly NOT recommended do yourself a favor and just pay straight out or go with SNAP or Progressive leasing

  • This is truly ridiculous

    The company needs to either bring back lease pay cards. Or the one time payment card is good for 24 hours. I wasFumbling trying to write down the card number. Because the copy and paste wasn’t working. It was only utilizing three numbers or phone numbers. I already tried to purchase items earlier this week. which didn’t work out right because the time was up to soon. I noticed that I put the wrong location for pick up. Would you like me having to go back to correct it. However this killed more than 10 minutes of time. They need to address this. Otherwise Shima is a pretty decent company

  • Scam

    This app is a total waste of time, After spending so much work and giving them my personal data, they decided to give me some points to be able to buy a Mobile, and after spending several hours deciding which would be the most appropriate, when I go to make the payment they tell me that I am not approved... I write to support AND THE ONLY THING THEY SAY IS TO CALL AND GIVE YOUR DATA AGAIN… in short, a total waste of time. and you cannot delete your account, they will keep your personal data saved

    Never have I encountered any issues that haven’t been resolved quickly. Will continue to use their services as long as I could.
  • Ignorance is blind, like some of these reviews.

    If people pay attention, you get the item at its store prices(not including taxes or whatever minor fees is there) when you purchase and pay on the 90 day option. If not its basically like a 12 month thing(subject to interest and late penalties). Thats how most business make their money, cause its easier payments for us but money goes to them afterwards. Its not hard to understand and review. They dont hide it in the fine print. Do your own research. 😎

  • Highly Irritated and Disappointed

    I wish I had read the reviews first before ever leasing with them. I originally was approved for $5,000. I purchased a sofa/loveseat for $2,700.
    After a month Acima reported to the credit bureau that I leased the full approval amount for the $5,000 I was originally approved for. Why not just report for the amount I leased oh that’s right it’s because they charge you 100% interest for the product you’re leasing. So I have to pay over $5,000 for a $2,700 product!!! That’s ridiculous!! Absolutely not worth leasing from this company, please be aware you will pay double for any item that you lease with them.

  • I’m just disappointed because now I’m not qualified.

    I was qualified (twice) one for $1250 then another for $950. I wanted to buy a laptop for $1300, but couldn’t so I left it alone. 2nd time I wanted to buy something, but my offer was $950. I don’t know why it decreased.

    Now I’m flat out my qualified. I never used any credits because I was always offered less than I needed. Now I’m not qualified.
