  • Don’t

App issues aside, this is an awful shopping experience. I bid $19 for a pair of sandals and my total cost with “shipping and handling” was $40. I also bought a purse that I had to pay a lot of extra money for “handling” on and it came stuffed in a box that was so small that it tore open and the purse was bent. Customer service said they have no control over how individual stores price and ship their items and made sure to remind me it’s for a good cause. A good cause is not an excuse for price gauging and horrible service and packaging.
  • Great app with many bugs

I have bought some things from this app and am mostly satisfied. Recently I bought an electronic being sold as “works as intended” I received the item with multiple issues and after contacting the seller through customer service we had a small conversation with maybe four messages. After that I couldn’t access the thread, the app would crash. It’s not just the app, I can’t access the thread on the website either.
  • Really!!!

Okay so Good Will gets a online store that’s great, but come on the prices are ridiculous. You can go to Ross or toms of other apps and stores and pay less for the same thing and it will be new. This store everything is donated and y’all turn around and charge the highest prices online for used clothes and furniture and jewelry basically everything I have ever seen online for used donated stuff. That’s just not right at all…..
  • I still like the site only slightly better

I really like that the site shows you recommendations based on the auction you’re viewing. If the app added that capability to its functionality, it would be better than the site.
  • Outrageously Bad

App is difficult to navigate and misleading. I set my filters to shop locally as to avoid shipping costs on a sewing machine. Apparently Seattle Goodwill doesn’t allow this , why? nobody knows . So with shipping and an outrageous 40% “handling fee” I have now paid over three times my winning bid. I shop auction sites often and a handling fee is usually 15%. Never again!App deleted!
  • Latest update won’t launch

App forced me to update it to continue using it. Now it won’t even launch. When it works, the app is easier to use than the web version of the site. Agree with the other reviews warning to pay attention to the added fees. Can’t be too upset about shipping costs, but the handling costs of some sellers can be steep and will catch you off guard if you are not paying attention. Most sellers are great. A few, not so much (looking at you, South Florida store).
  • Greedy

I enjoy the app sometimes. But I believe the company is greedy. The things I’m looking for are about the price you can get it new or used online. I don’t see the point of saving money going here.
  • Needs Bigger Pictures

Needs bigger pics and to eliminate the annoying quick bid link. Few if any buyers are going to purchase an item from the thumbnail.
  • Not User Friendly and Misleading

The app is okay. It’s buggy sometimes and the navigation is anything but smooth or intuitive. I’ve also had to return several items for arriving broken or being grossly misdescribed in the listing. All of the treasures you used to be able to find at Goodwill are now on here for either the same price as eBay or ridiculously more. Most of the time the people listing the items have no idea what the item is or what it’s worth, and will make the starting bid twice as much as any sane person would pay for it. This app is a poorly developed cash grab
  • Goodwill just ain’t like it used to be

Unfortunately the only platform has made gong to local stores pointless. All the items of value are auctioned off on this app. Each store has their own method and pricing for shipping which ends up being a very large portion of the cost associated with buying here. They need a consistent shipping program and to bring some value back to their stores by letting locals buy more than the junk.
