  • The most powerful and intuitive photo app!

If you’re looking to get away from LR or C1, then here’s your solution. This app supports more RAW formats than Photos, and is FAR more powerful. I recommend going straight for the lifetime license after your free trial, you won’t regret it. The developer and app are absolutely top tier.
  • Excellent app, just what I need

I keep taking pictures for many years, not professionally, just to record things around. I used to relay on Aperture to manage my picture lib, but unfortunately it was discontinued and actually it lacks some key features like perspective correction, lens correction and aberration adjustments. This app Nitro fit every need I could ask for, and works fast. I like it the most that albums are shown in thumbnails instead of layers of folder icons like that in LR and C1 have which I never got used to, when it comes to displaying albums, app should show users thumbnails directly, instead of confusing people with folder icons and folder name texts, what was Adobe thinking! It even comes with LUT, very professional function, its filter system is just the one like aperture, and the developer responded to feature requests and bug reports very swiftly, this app is worth the money, so much, in beginners’ typical way of usage, a strong competitor to LR or capture one.

  • Brilliant

One of the best highlight recoveries I have seen. Really easy to use app that has all the bells, and does exactly what it says it does.
  • Great Advace From RawPower

Very happy with Nitro. Has added some really useful functionality over RawPower; spot removal, clone, masks, ratings, metadata visibility. Still stuff to add, but fits neatly into my raw processing workflow.

Ability to add/edit location and time would be very helful.
  • Very Impressed

As a big lightroom user, it is refreshing to see and also use an app, that is not confusing or complicated. I think this has alot of potential.
  • Taking your Photos library to the next level

Building on Nik's (ex-Apple Aperture engineer) post-Aperture work with RAW Power this is a ground-up rewrite of that app for contemporary Macs, bringing with it sophisticated features such as brushes, gradients and AI Masks that that app lacked. Plus all the reasons why we embraced RAW Power to get the most out of our Photos library in the first place.

  • A Must Have To Manage You Pictures

As a past user of Raw Power I am quite familiar with apps from this developer, but he has knocked it out of the park with Nitro Photo. This is now my go to app on the Mac to cataloge and process my families extensive archive of pictures both externaly and in Apple Photos. I highly recomend Nitro Photo.

  • Superb new Mac Photo Editing Software

This is a great addition to RawPower. Works with a variety of Raw File formats and is powerful and easy to use whether editing via The Finder or through the Photos App. The smart mask feature is wonderful and it is great to have the option to either pay a small monthly fee or purchase outright. This programme is well worth trying by any enthusiastic photographer and is highly recommended.

  • Excellent App (and my Aperture replacement)

For years I have been searching for a Aperture replacement but I never been happy with all the alternatives I have tried.

Finally, we are there. The developer provides prompt, excellent support but I am biased as I was a former RAW Power user too.

Since the initial release, there have been quick bug fixes and improvements. I have no doubt this will continue. Great work Nik.

  • Excellent Mac photo editor and manager

All the editing tools I need and excellent photo management, through both the Apple Photos library and the File system. It's well thought through, with exif viewing options, LUTs and presets so you can apply your own look to your photos.
