The new app is so incredible compared to the first version! So easy to find information about my Lomi and I’m excited to connect to my new Bloom I just ordered 🙌
Can’t use the app because it says I have wrong password. I request a password change link and it won’t let me enter any info.

If you're still struggling, send over an email to our team at hello@pela.earth and we can help sort it out :) Lomi is great! The manual says to go online/download the app for more detailed instructions but neither online nor the app offer more detailed instructions.
I’d love to see a video or more detailed description of how far to fill the carbon filters, which bag to use etc. I’m pretty shocked that something so pricey seems to be focused more on a sleek imagine than providing detailed information on how best to run their product.

Hi there! We've been hard at work on our 2.0 app update which includes a bunch more guide content, getting started videos and access to operating Lomi info. I hope this new version can give you some more of the how-to's you're afterThis app is pretty pointless. It’s similar to the info on their website but maybe even not as comprehensive as that. It doesn’t even have a “how to get started” section that tells you how to make your first batch of dirt or what to do with the charcoal / how to set up your Lomi for the first use.
Very disappointed in this app. If this is what it’s gonna be… why even have an app?

I would like to have this ap also include a Lomi community blog where people write about how they’ve used the Lomi and handled the issues that come up.
At this point this app is just a basic, albeit IMO, slightly easier-to-navigate version of the Pela website. Baseline information on how to use the Lomi. I’d like to see a search function that would have a database of Do’s and Don’ts.
Beyond excited to have received Lomi, and the app has a sleek interface that’s easy to understand. It’s just limited being the first version, and I’m assuming there is a lot of R&D happening for future updates.
For now though, the dos and donts aren’t hugely helpful. Was hoping more for “scan your product/lookup product” feature that would then give a 🚫 or ✅ instead of the list provided in the manual. This in particular for the “Lomi approved” cycle, because I couldn’t find anything on Pelas website with that list. Likewise a picture-step through setup would be hugely helpful. I still have charcoal bits left over but not sure if that’s okay from the written instructions. Basically, users of Lomi and it’s app shouldn’t need to seek out YouTube or Pelas website for these things as they should be provided to users in the app. But as it’s the first app version and the campaign is still in its launch, it’s fine, there’s plenty of room to grow! 🌱♻️
The Lomi machine is nice, but the app is kind of useless.
I mistakingly thought this app would allow me to connect to my Lomi and control it via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, but it does not connect to the machine at all.
All the app does is explain what the lights and functions of the machine are, which you could also just view on the website, so there’s not really any point to downloading this app.
Also, they do not support sign in with Apple, so you have to keep track of yet one more email address/password, even though it doesn’t connect to the machine at all. So I’m not really sure what the point is.

Hi ORHobbes, I just wanted to follow up on your feedback and let you know that the new Lomi does in fact connect via Bluetooth to the App! It's a huge improvement that we're excited about and brings a ton more value into the App experience. This is a first version for a kickstarted product, so it definitely needs some improvement. However, it’s still a useful way to get going with the Lomi. Main request is to add a first time user experience - unboxing, adding charcoal to filters, first cycle of composting. Having that as a walk through would be a huge improvement. Excited to start composting with Lomi!
It’s a bunch of random information, nothing specific enough to make sense, no way to copy and paste your serial number into the app, makes you get under a 10 pound machine and type the numbers in one by one since it can’t be turned upside down. Should have more specific instructions on what to and not put inside it. A lookup tool for products.

Hey @tmobileamanda, we really appreciate your feedback and have made some changes directly inline with your comments! With the new Lomi Bloom not only is the Serial Number on the back for easier access but you don't have in input it at all. With the improved app the S/N will be automatically fetched when you connect to the Lomi via Bluetooth. Our guide has improved too for what can go in Lomi. No specific lookup tool yet, but it's one of the ideas that we're currently looking at.
