  • New app & can’t connect anymore

    After being prompted to download the new app and installed I cannot connect to my two AC units. I have two Fridgidaire gallery units that now aren’t recognizing by the app. I following all of the troubleshooting guides and went through the re-pairing process with my wi-fi and no luck at all. Since my units are over a year old , customer service said there isn’t anything I can do. Super terrible that you are forced to update the app and now the best feature of the AC is gone.

  • Just stopped working

    Doesn’t work anymore. Still signed in to my account but won’t connect with the window AC. Deleted the app and downloaded again but still doesn’t work. ???

    Hi, sorry to hear that. Can you try to unplug the appliance for 30 seconds then re-plug, or flip breaker for 30 seconds to power off -on the appliance? It should reconnect the appliance automatically within a couple of minutes. If that doesn't work, please email us at appteam@electrolux.com so we can help you out.
  • Not much improvement

    Not a lot of improvement from the old app. Interface on old app much easier to use to set. Old app dropped connection regularly and so does the new app. Except for the new interface when it does connect
    It works well. It’s just getting ot to connect and stay connected that’s the problem.

  • Old one is better

    This app is very handy… when it works. The problem is that it only works about half the time. The old one (now discontinued) was more reliable. Stop playing with it. Debug what you have. Stabilize it. Then make it “pretty” if you want. We don’t care as much about pretty as we do that it works reliably.

  • APP unavailable

    I do LOVE the A/C, and it worked flawlessly with the prior app - but since it was upgraded, it’s offline more than it’s on, and it’s very frustrating! Example: Tonight I looked at the app 2 hrs before I needed it, and I was on-line, so I waited. 2 hrs later when I needed to turn the A/C on, your app is offline - again! And this is happening most every night. Please fix it. My only other suggestion would be to add an option for a set temperature we can individualize. It comes on at a set temp of 72, but let’s be honest, no one who has an A/C will have it set that warm… I really do love this A/C itself.

  • Surprisingly worse than the last version

    It doesn’t work, disconnects all the time, hundreds of bugs. Why can’t this company put out just one version of this app that works, instead of shipping a new one every year that is awful/worse than the last?
  • New app never works

    Although the app looks better than it’s predecessor, it only connects to my ac about 1% of the time that I try to control the units. I have had my ACs a few years and purchased them for the remote feature. Never had issues until we moved to the new app. Now I constantly get a message that it’s “unable to connect at this time”. Sometimes that persists for days.

  • It works with my Alexa.

    I don’t even have to touch ANYTHING. I can just ask Alexa to turn on the Air Conditioner, and she’ll do it. Don’t have to touch a thing. It also lets me know when the filter gotta get cleaned. The Alexa app picks it up as a thermostat, but I’m pretty sure that’s necessary for the App to be able to change the target temperature, so I don’t think it’s a bug. 5 stars! Keep on going, Frigidaire!

  • AC is great, app is not

    We got two brand new ACs for our upstairs bedrooms. We’ve always enjoyed the ability to turn our Frigidaire ACs off and on as needed, particularly if we’re coming home from being out all day and need to get a head start on cooling a room down. We never experienced issues with the old app. With this new app, even with either of the new ACs connected to WiFi, none of the changes to settings on the app now translate over to the ACs. We change it while standing right next to the AC and no changes are made. The app doesn’t do what it’s intended to do. Aesthetically and functionally, the old app was superior and had no issues. What’s up, Frigidaire? Why fix what wasn’t broken?

  • Horrible App Presentation

    This upgrade from the previous version leaves much to be desired as to app presentation and appearance, I will not be using this version. It’s unreadable for older people and blurs out in different lighting. Fix what you had with the excellent color presentation or get better programmers.
