  • Amazing

Just amazing, such a great and fun game, though it can be quite difficult and feel dumb at times with random events like settlers dying all the time or settlers stealing supplies, and running out of credits
  • Great concept and visuals but not a lot of replay value

I loved terragenesis, and I thought this would be an amazing addition. However, there just isn’t a whole lot to bring me back to the game. I played through Mars once and then started on the moon and quickly lost interest

With the original terragenesis there was a goal that you were working towards, and watching the planet transform before your eyes, adding water and life over time was satisfying.

With Landfall, it’s unclear what the end goal is, and in the case of the moon I completed the “mission” long before I ever researched and built 2/3 of what is featured in the game. Playing through again I realized “what’s the point?”. Sure, you can keep growing your city but this novelty very quickly gets old. Why not start creating hab domes and terraforming technology?

What’s the point, to just watch the city get bigger and keep adding people? Can the city ever become fully autonomous with births and deaths etc?

TLDR: Graphics are great, and this game entertained me for a couple weeks, then I got bored and moved on.

  • Bad game setup

I give this 1 star due to the lack of playability of the game. It needs fixed and I deleting it just because of this.
The rest of the game is ok, nice to build and but ever 3-5 mins there is a repair needed or a person dies in accident. It’s just to much and drives to game to a single star play level.

  • Different

More instructions to help through out the game would be nice isnstead of the short help at the start
  • It’s got great potential

Ok to start off, I never really write reviews but I hope the developers see this.

So the game, it’s great! I understand there has to be profit from the game, as you probably use it to pay bills. Though, I would like to have the option to have some form of currency added to the game, such as you view an ad you can gain like 5 coins and then unlock the different worlds. I assume there is more being worked on with the different worlds.

I would also like to add on, I’d like to have an option to turn off the tutorial for when I reset. Something else that could be cool is, if there was a option you could set to like hard difficulty, where you have to have heating systems, and all.

Truthfully, I love the game It’s going in the right direction, and would love to see more future updates!

Love your hard work :) <3

  • Play balance needed

So: I love the concept. Building, adverse events, planning the growth path. But it also needs to be fun. And the speed at which things fail, and completely collapse before you can even have time to react, is ridiculous. I’ll turn it on, and if something has happened that there is a crisis, population will be dying before I can even diagnose it. And I can’t diagnose because when I click a building, or another one, the camera zooms me around and loses where I was. I can’t get a list of buildings to see what is working or not, I can’t keep the camera zoomed out to a level where I can see what is going on broadly (and it resets when I click a building), there is no pause, and If I don’t happen to figure it out within literally 10 seconds, settlers are dying. You have to give players a chance to deal with a touchy interface and the lack of information we have. C’mon, man.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your review, and sorry to hear you've experienced this -- how frustrating! The good news is that we have released an update that we believe has addressed this issue. It is available for download now, so if you want to give us another chance, download it and let us know if it’s fixed. Thank you!
  • Confusing and Money-taking

Hello! Whoever is reading this review I hope is having a great day. I don’t mean to be criticizing this app, this is just my honest opinion. Enjoy!

Even with the tutorial, this game is quite confusing with the numerous buttons and controls. Along with this, you can play for 2 minutes and you have to wait 5 hours for a rocket to launch or for something SIGNIFICANT to happen. So I’ll be playing for a few minutes after school or something, and next thing I know the game becomes as dry as the Sahara. Also, right from the start screen, they basically have you agree for them to steal your data to show you personalized ads, which I do not need thank you very much. Additionally, all the things you have to build or let happen require GP (genesis points), steel, and more in-game currencies which can be difficult to obtain. I don’t feel like paying 2 precious bucks out of my pocket for 20k extra GP. Although, if you are very interested in a more difficult and strategic game, I believe you should download this game.
Thank you so much for reading my review, and I truly hope this helps someone looking for an extra game to play on their device.

  • Good game, however, you need to spend to survive

Concept of the game was good, it’s good graphics, and constant requirement for input from the player. Disappointing that the game takes you back several steps every now and again requiring you to spend money to have the resources to move the time forward.
  • Great so far

Just started it, however, i can tell already I will be investing my time on this one.
  • Feels pretty solid

So far so good! The randomness is pretty nice feels like a very good balance so far shuttle loads don’t cost too much. Times also are not bad, haven’t had a crash yet and only 2 of my ppl have died since i started playing last night I really hope this game goes far and maybe one day y’all can give us a space station and free space exploring game that would marvel any other game like this. Details are good. Could y’all add a planet view
