As long as you don’t need open loop customer care, you will be ok.

I’ve enjoyed Everlywell for the last year until about six weeks ago there was an issue and after a dozen calls, no one could fix it— so sadly, all I could do was leave. I wonder if this has been bought out by a mediocre company. I no longer have faith in what they say because I was lied to so many times in a row. As long as you don’t need the open loop customer care team, you will probably be ok.

Abysmal customer service — don’t spend your money here!

I deeply regret signing up for their services. Their customer service is minimal, consisting of email-only communications and being handed off to person after person who can’t help you. This is the worst kind of tech company. I wish I had read other company reviews before purchasing. Never again!

UPDATE: The dev response is to call their customer support. I’ve been through this several times already. Calling customer support is useless and your message will be forwarded to a team who will then send emails using boilerplate language and no actual support. Don’t make my mistake!

Amazing!

Easy testing from the comfort of your home. Detailed instructions and even a video so you know you’re taking your test correctly. 10/10

App Not Loading

Everything was smooth, organized, informative until I received my results. I haven’t been able to load them at all. I contacted customer service twice but no one has been able to resolve this issue, even get back to me and help me. Anyone else experiencing app and website issues? I was so excited to view my results. :(

WORTHLESS

I just purchased this product and was better off setting my money on fire. When going to register my kit the screen simply says “something went wrong.” No options to proceed forward or any explanation as to what. Besides the fact that it doesn’t even let me register my kit. The “everylwell contact team” is completely non existent. No phone number to call, nothing. 1 star is too good for this sad excuse of a company. Strongly recommended that no one purchases this trash product but also that they get pulled from shelves immediately.

Worthless

This app functions well, but too bad it is for a worthless product. It does not provide numbers, just a positive (or negative) response. The “support” they offer is a call center rep telling you that the results are positive and go to the doctor. I didn’t ask for a definitive diagnosis, but selling this as offering support is deceptive marketing, if not outright lying. You can talk to a “provider” but it is just a mid-level who cannot diagnose. I can read “positive” and “talk to a doctor” without a call center rep or paying a midlevel to read it to me. What is the point of a test not providing numbers and ranges?! Are they just randomly throwing out positives and negatives in results?! Further, my doctor (actual DO who uses a reputable lab) repeated the testing and my results were NOT positive, not even close to positive. In fact, not only was I NOT positive on the one thing they said I was, I WAS positive on the thing they said I was not! Total joke and waste of money. Very deceptive marketing. Other reputable labs will do many of these same tests for cash pay and actually provide numbers and resources to understand numbers. What a joke.

Don’t trust a test that doesn’t trust itself

The quote above is from my doctor and the reason he said it was because he was asking me what the point was to taking the test. Since if the test came back bad the Everlywell company wouldn’t trust the test enough to write a prescription to fix the problem. Also any self respecting doctor wouldn’t trust the test enough to write one and they would then reissue the test. Even if the test came back good my doctor told me he would likely order a professional test done anyway because my insurance would already cover these professional tests and if you had a concern we should look into it.

So in the end no matter what, you would have to pay for two tests. One over the counter and one professional one. And if Everlywell doesn’t trust it’s test results enough to issue a prescription if needed based off the results why should you trust it.

Test results

Paid a lot of money for nothing! If you already have thyroid issues and get them checked through your doctor DON’T spend the money…you’ll get the same results as your doctor. Tried to check for allergic reactions to food…results were nothing that I eat! Don’t spend the high dollars! If you have healthcare and have your regular bloodwork checked this is not worth it! Thanks for draining my pocketbook! Big dollars for ZIP/ZERO/NADA information!
If you don’t have insurance you’ll still spend more than it’s worth!

Food allergy test

My son and daughter-in-law decided to do this for various reasons and I thought I would try it. I can't wait to get my results. The test was easy to use and self-explanatory.

Worse than worthless service

I’d say their service is worthless, but it’s worse than that as I spent hundreds of dollars and received nothing of value.

I’ve tried to use three different kits purchased from various pharmacies. The first one was received by the lab and “failed to process” despite my follow directions, and as acknowledged by customer support. The second and third kits failed to register in-app (“the lab can no longer process this kit”).

Everlywell customer support offered to mail a replacement kit. The first replacement did not work (same “can no longer process” error), and in the week it took just to receive the kit I was able to go to a doctor, take a test, and receive my results before the everlywell replacement kit even arrived.

Pharmacies do not accept these kits for refund, and everlywell will neither refund you nor credit you.
