  • Just another tracker

Don’t believe the marketing. I caved in after seeing daily ads for months on Insta. Wish I’d read the reviews first.
Like others mention, you are dumped on the Home Screen with no onboarding where you’re just expected to enter data. There’s no suggestions from the completed ‘quiz’ and nothing to action except data entry. Doesn’t seem to sync with Fitbit. Will be requesting a refund.

  • Needs more free features

If the team wants more valuable feedback, they really need to have a free-to-use version of the app outside the free trial. They should paywall only half of the features at most instead of preventing you from using the app altogether. I got kicked out of the app because I exited out of the free trial screen. Most apps would still let you use some features if you opt out of the free trial (even discount the yearly sub by a significant amount without free trial). If the team wants to appeal to people with ADHD, getting subscription models right is important. People with ADHD have a hard time managing subs as it is, and reading that you can’t manage the subscription through the App Store is not a good look. It looks like the devs are taking advantage impulse purchasing behaviors people with ADHD tend to have. Having access to free features is so important.

  • not helpful, impossible to cancel

i decided to try out this app for help with my ADHD. When I realized it wouldn’t be helpful for me due to the features not being ADHD friendly, and not really helping me track anything considering the features are not accessible, I decided to cancel. When I looked for my subscription in my Apple account. It wasn’t there. The website said to go to my iTunes subscriptions, but iTunes doesn’t offer any subscriptions, they only sell media. I paid for it through PayPal, so I ended up canceling my agreement with them on the PayPal site. I’m assuming they’ll contact me when the payment doesn’t go through, but at this point there isn’t anything that would make me resubscribe. The problems with managing my subscription make it look like a scam, and I don’t trust them. If you’re looking for your subscription information, don’t bother. Just cancel the payments with PayPal or whatever method you used. I’ve never written an app review before, good or bad. But this was so aggravating that I decided to write my first one tonight.

  • No onboarding?

Downloaded this to trial it and was surprised there was no onboarding. Just a page full of things to track. I was expecting a process to set goals, notifications, etc but this just seems to be a symptom tracker app. What I wanted was insights and reports, analysis to show unknown correlations with tangible changes to make. And … there’s nothing!

  • Do not waste your money on this tracking app

This is a poorly designed health tracking app. There are not instructions on the app for how to use it. For instance it gives you the option to do testing to track for example how much water you drink, and is supposed to give you alert reminders if you set up times to remind yourself to drink more water, but I set up times for alert reminders and I do not receive any alerts. I just wasted almost $60 for a 1-year subscription to a totally useless app. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THE COMPANY’S SERVICE FOR USE WITH THIS APP… IT IS NOT A USEFUL APP AND YOU WILL END UP WASTING SO MUCH OF YOUR OWN TIME TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW THE APP WORKS AND GET NOTHING OUT OF THE EXPERIENCE!

  • Don’t download - and a way to “unsubscribe”

I wish you could put zero or negative stars. The moment I downloaded the app I realized I had made a mistake everything was an add on, it felt like some sort of bad task manager. Of course I tried to cancel immediately but couldn’t manage and my ADHD kicked in and of course I forgot. That’s until today where I had this PayPal payment from something called “medical score” (if you didn’t think it was a scam before, this super misleading name with the term medical in it should hopefully convince you to stay away).
I couldn’t remember exactly how I had subscribed (yes i did it in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep and was watching my phone) but once I figured out that it was actually Effecto, I was surprised to see the payment was on PayPal and not on the App Store like my other subscriptions. I tried to find a way to unsubscribe online but couldn’t. The Only thing you will find in their FAQ is to go to to the iTunes account settings to turn off auto renew. But since it’s not a subscription it’s actually not true.
So eventually I went to PayPal, realized it was a preapproved payment there. So if you scroll down when you are on the charge to “report a problem” you can actually then click on “manage automatic payments” and cancel it. I’m so annoyed at myself that they were able to charge me a second time before i figured it out. As other people say, this app preys on people that have difficulty focusing. Don’t download.

  • Too time and thought-consuming, very distracting

I don’t understand how checking in with an app, trying to write down every drink, bite, breath, mood, med, etc is helpful-maybe overall, but I regret this purchase (which I tried to get refunded, but unfortunately forgot about trial and forgot to cancel). It’s annoying and quite distracting, especially since the screen is way cluttered. I even didn’t check off most of the “check-up” points (meds, nutrition, etc), but they’re still on my home screen . I apparently have to take a freaking tutorial to figure that out. Not worth my time or my wasted $60.

  • Total Rip Off

This is nothing more than a glorified habit tracker which does very little and is glitchy. Once they have your money, you are on your own. No refunds. Buyer beware.
Wish I had read all the reviews but I sucked into the quiz (and they didn’t tell me what kind of ADHD I had anyway).
My new mission is now to stop them from preying on people so this will be fun.
Can’t wait for the copy paste response with the customer service email. They already refused to refund the purchase once I figured out that the ad was completely misleading.

  • Not at all what it claims to be

I signed up based on an ad that said nothing about it being a mood tracker. I was supposed to get a personalized report and plan and got nothing. They say they offer a free assessment with a doctor, but they have no dates available and it turns out it’s just an “onboarding call” which I imagine is a sales pitch. I should have been suspicious when they didn’t offer a free trial. I will not be paying for this.

  • Terrible for ADHD

Horrible interface for ADHD. The second I looked at it my heart started to sink. It’s like pages and pages of manual-input homework. I regretted it immediately and wish I could get a refund, but they don’t do refunds. I have access to it for 30 more days but I know I won’t touch it, lol.
