What's New in This Version - AI Business Card Scanner Take a photo of a business card and our AI will identify contact fields like first name, last name, email, phone number, company name, and job title. Easily create and manage new contacts in your Tapt contacts, with options to view, edit, share, or save them to your phone. - New and Improved Menu Tab Learn how to add our new QR code widget to your home screen for effortless profile sharing without opening the app or even when you're offline. Enjoying our app? Please consider leaving a review. If you're unclear about any features, the tutorial is available for a refresher. - New Profile Colours Customiser in Edit Profile Personal accounts can now customise their profile colours and upload a new cover image directly in the app, a feature previously available only on the website. - New and Improved Profile Photo Editor Experience Users can now crop their profile image and preview it in the edit profile section. - Share Your Profile Offline Use the 'share offline' switch under the share tab to change your QR code from your Tapt profile link to your VCF. This allows users to scan the QR code and save your details in their phone contacts app without needing internet access. - Personal Social Media Links Label your social links as 'personal' to differentiate them from your work socials. Stay Connected, Even Offline! Even when you're offline or facing weak internet connectivity, you can now view your profile and contacts without a hitch. Once back online, we'll automatically update with the latest data. Plus, share your profile effortlessly with our QR code which converts to a vCard for offline sharing. Remember When & Where Met someone new through Tapt? We'll save the location of your meet-up (with your permission), so you can recall where you connected. A fun way to remember those special meet-and-greet moments! Sharper QR Code Scanner Logging in is now smoother and faster with our enhanced QR code scanner. We've made sure it's more efficient than ever. Easy Access to Tutorial We've skipped the tutorial for your first login to get you started quickly. But, if ever you need a refresher, it's just a tap away! Simply head over to the settings (look for the cog icon) and learn at your pace. We hope you enjoy these updates! Tapt Mobile App Version 1.10 Release Notes We're excited to introduce version 1.10 of Tapt, packed with new features, improvements, and fixes to enhance your networking experience. Here's what's new: New Features: Onboarding v2: Our onboarding screens have been completely rebuilt. We've resolved numerous concerns, making the process clearer and more tailored for different types of users. Simplified Login Process: Users with a card can log in by scanning their card and verifying with an OTP. Users without a card can log in using their work email. If profiles associated with that email exist, an OTP will be sent for validation. Account & Profile Creation: Users can now opt to create a new account and profile if desired. QR Code Login: Recognising the inconsistencies of NFC we've added the option for users to scan a QR code for logging in (OTP still required). Enhanced UI for Profile Selection: Logging in without a card is now more intuitive. Profile pictures have been integrated to facilitate easier profile selection. Improved Card Activation: The card activation process is more straightforward. Attempting to access an unactivated card will now prompt the user for activation. If logged in, scanning an unactivated card provides an option to link the card to the profile. In-app Banners: Upon viewing their profile for the first time, users will be prompted to edit their profile through a new in-app banner. Add New Contact Feature: An accessible '+'' icon on the contacts page allows users to add a new contact, similar to the "Share your details" button on the profile page. Updates & Fixes: App Internals: We've restructured the app's internals to facilitate rapid feature deployment in upcoming versions. Performance and Bugs: As always, we've addressed known bugs and optimised performance for a smoother user experience.
